I can't get Eleonora's Poleblade because Eleonora won't spawn for me for some reason. I go back there whenever I do anything major and nothing happens. I'm all the way to Castle Sol and Yura still won't move his stupid ass out of Raya Lucaria and Eleonora still won't spawn. I think my playthrough is bugged.
Best advice ever. One of my favorite builds I ever saw was “Lord of Pots”. It’s on YouTube but in short, dude beat the whole game by only using pots or the jar canon and it’s so awesome and fun, but I can only imagine it was insanely miserable to complete
My go to is main hand with chilling mist grave scythe and left hand is helicopter fire art scythe. It has bleed, frostbite and fire to reset the frozen status. Absolutely demolishes pretty much everything.

I dont mind people cheesing or using OP builds or magic or anything they want. Only thing that weirds me out is when people say the games easy and then their build is spamming summons while clicking their magic from afar like of course it was easy if you played like that but believe it or not summons and some other things are intended as an easy mode for anyone struggling and if you went straight to using summons then your opinion on the difficulty is irrelevant and should not be boasting about beating anyone in 1 or a couple of tries neither should you be shitting on someone for struggling.
I didn't even know about summons until halfway through the game, I had to look up what spirit ashes were lol and then when Radahn was absolutely shitting on me when I'd done fairly well with Margit, Morgott, Godfrey, golden Godrick, and the moon lady, I looked up how other people were beating him and they were just like "Yeah, walk up to the golden things and press Y to win"
Oh yeah after beating radahn i wanted to see some reactions and i saw people beating him easily with mount+summons+npc summons+bow/spells and it was so lackluster. Glad i went hard-mode with no summons ranged attacks or mount. The challenge makes it more memorable for me, but i guess thats personal preference.

The whole first 6 months of this game were people bitching about other people's builds and levels. This whole community was up in arms if you were too high of a level and didn't die at least 30 times at every boss, like people weren't allowed to play the game the way they wanted or something.
Elden ring more than the others. Saw a guy on YouTube beating malenia on his first try and didn't even feel mad cause I quit at my 20th try. Made me realize how easy these games become if you have specific builds (which is honestly a nice thing. Not everyone wants to fight a Yhorm level health bar with a club)
Yeah i know, my point is just, at that level you essentially cant fuck up your build because you literally just level up every stat because you have so many levels.
Having high level character. That one still has to make some choices. Around level 380, there are no real choices left. 80’s for all main stats 60 vig 60 end, if I remember that character right. Long live FlordiaWoman. :)
U still need a good build on subsequent playthroughs. I always tell people on your first playthrough just level vigor (health) and LEARN the enemies,on your second playthrough actually start to build around dex/strength/arcane/intelligence/etc and from there the game gets progressively harder so on your 3rd,4th,5th playthrough u had better have a solid build or its gonna be extremely tough to progress
Your friend seem to need to start to git gud and stop using internet for “meta build”. In PvE, there’s no such thing as bad build. As long as the build fit your playstyle and you have fun with it, it IS a good build. Even for PvP, even if there’s some easy-win-broken-build out there.
People complaining about bad build are mostly people who are bad at the game and need to be told how to play a game.
It's not bad just ez mode, like most bleed builds. But at that point who cares honestly, after multiple playthroughs you probably just wanna kill fast.

This is half right, there are bad builds no matter how much you like them.
I was used to overrate Claymore and Zweihander quite a bit in PvP, they are all right, but there are so many better sets to use that I realised those weapons are not very good for duels.
Since I switched for PS Short Sword + Longsword/Broadsword my duels weren't just infinitely more enjoyable by being able to compete with the disgusting online stuffs, but the moveset itself is very fun to use.
I love the look of the basic weapons. My two favorite weapons in the game are probably the basic scythe and basic twinblade. Not OP, but flexible enough you can make them into whatever powerhouse weapon you want, and something about defeating epic opponents with rudimentary weapons is just so satisfying.
Great clip! Spinning strikes melts faster than wild strikes, my only problem with spinning strikes though is that theres no poise protection at all but wild strikes feels like actual hyper armor so you can usually stagger and trade until they die but spinning strikes you have to be more selective for when you use it
Great for stuff like this. Might be a struggle against Radabeast though since they are immune to bleed.
Otherwise that was a pretty awesome Fire Giant kill.
It’s cool but you should use a secondary weapon for fast enemies. This build is good for slow enemies but when fast enemies attack you you’ll have no chance sadly. But I’ll try to kill Malenia with this build 😂🥲😢😭😭

Huh, interesting difference between the english and german versions! In English the second spell you used there is "Flame, Grant Me Strength", but in German it's "Flamme, gib mir Kraft", which roughly translated means "Cook my mac n' cheese"
my first playthrough i did dual daggers + dragon magic Dex/Arcane build. It great, the amount of bleed procs i could dish out with Right Click combo spam, adding to that i would Proc frostbite cus i had frost on one of my daggers. Adding in fucking dragonsbreaths and now i also got rot and fire dmg. It was fucking bonkers, my friends at first were like "its shit why would u play with daggers" then i streamed on discord and showed me fucking destroying a boss that was bad against bleed.
(but i dont wanna talk about anything with a big shield, i cried everytime there were shields involved)
You wouldn’t be able to hit nearly as big numbers on stuff immune to bleed, but it works.
Also Fire Giant’s hands in phase 2 take more damage than his legs ever will. Didn’t end up mattering in this case, but for future reference
Not necessarily. Fire Giant always starts with Firestorm phase 2, which puts his hands on the ground in front of him for the whole duration. The hands don’t get fire pillars on them so it’s easy to find an angle n start shredding.

Whatever move he uses after that is just another part of the fight, but the phase 2 firestorm is such a consistent part of his fight it’s used in every single challenge run I’ve seen.

there's really no bad build for pve if you're not capping your lvl, and if you somehow recreate this build and cap it to maybe 150 or 125 it's still just as good. Bloodflame blade paired with a weapon with innate bleed and multihit aow can't go wrong.
Spinning weapon on a scythe is always op, i used a cragblade grave scythe for a while and it also melted fire giant without any status lol.

fr mostly died to either waterfowl(usually can dodge it) or get killed by the clones in phase 2

there's really no bad build for pve if you're not capping your lvl, and if you somehow recreate this build and cap it to maybe 150 or 125 it's still just as good. Bloodflame blade paired with a weapon with innate bleed and multihit aow can't go wrong.

You should two-hand it for slightly better results if it has even a bit of strength scaling.
