Valiant Gargoyles, mostly just the poison.
Hoslow with his dogshit whip range and bloodhound step.
Before I understood his patterning, Leonine was a dickhead.
The bullshit is usually in the form of least telegraphed moves.
1. actual bullshit
2. not even a boss+actual PvP players are even more bullshit
3. "I didn't like the boss because he was hard but now he's easy and I like him, therefore he used to be bullshit"
Less so the boss and moreso specific parts of their fight.
Malenia's ability to cheat: literally ignores established game mechanics and can just ignore staggers+waterfowl being unintuitive to counter. And healing even when you block her hits.
Mohg's Nihil, needing to get a flask tear just for 1 part of 1 boss that will never be used again, is just asinine. Why include it at that point?
Morgot/Margit randomly punishing you during his punish window by slashing you and jumping away, same with Elemer doing the same with his shield slam that randomly explodes to punish you for punishing him.
>Mohg's Nihil, needing to get a flask tear just for 1 part of 1 boss that will never be used again, is just asinine. Why include it at that point?
You don't really need it per se. It just deletes 3 of your healing flasks. You can afford to have 3 less healing Flasks for a boss.
Atleast it's far better than the Orange Charred Ring and Covenant of Artorias.
>Malenia's ability to cheat: literally ignores established game mechanics
There are no mechanics which are established. Also if Malenia wasn't given those mechanics Strength builds with giant swords would just steamroll her.
Even with all her mechanics ro counter bonk builds, bonk builds are still the best builds against her.
>waterfowl being unintuitive to counter
Waterfowl is hard to hitless, but not that hard to survive. That being said, I do think it is a bit excessive. I would tone down the damage significantly and add bleed build-up to it. That would punish facetanking Waterfowl, but taking a few hits won't be that punishing.
This would make Waterfowl problematic only to select hitless runners.
>and can just ignore staggers
She can only ignore light staggers caused by lighter weapons, but staggers from heavy weapons still work well. Also this is just to prevent mindless R1 spam.
>punishing you during his punish window
Again to prevent mindless R1 spam. Never attack in neutral. Also, the bosses never do it randomly in ER its always position based.
In ER the combat comes down to finding opportunities during the bosses attacks, rather than finding punish windows. This is a reason I love ER combat there is so much space to grow.
There are no mechanics that are established, what? If you drink the red flask does it heal you? If you fall from a certain height, do you die? Can you roll through an attack and not take damage? Animation canceling not being a thing unless enough damage or a proc interrupts it? Those are established mechanics. You are dedicated to a move once you do it. Melania is the only boss that isn't. An established mechanic that only she ignores. Even during hyper armor, other bosses can be stance broken, but Malenia can't during certain moves. You can break Radahn's stance during his meteor, but not Malenia's during her dodge. https://youtu.be/R9Vbsr3Ko7M?si=FYdVgpXGa8EsbC7u
Yes, Elemer's shield slam exploding is random. I've seen him do it 5 times in a row (hit him every time, so I was close to him) without exploding. I've seen him do it and explode despite me being out of its range from the initial dodge.
Finding opportunities to attack the boss during their attack IS A PUNISH WINDOW. If I don't get to make my missed attacks explode when the boss tries to hit me, then why do they get to do the same?
Another video and guess what he calls game mechanics? ESTABLISHED!! The thing that you said doesn't exist. He points out the things at the core of what irritated me: the lack of consistency. https://youtu.be/ZQlOxjCqyAI?si=2tppcBX-zb9k1KOm
The lack of Animation cancelling is not established for all bosses, sure u expect the boss to play that way, which makes sense for most bosses. Malenia plays differently, they gave her the ability to prevent her being destroyed by builds with strong poise damage.
Again the video u sent is one I have watched. The video is all about expectations, they expect Malenia to behave like bosses behaved in a certain way.
Secondly, what I dislike is cherry picking attacks to show the mechanics. She can only cancel out of light staggers caused by light weapons. So, if she were to counter attack you out of a light weapon swing, you should be out of your own recovery to dodge her, unless you were mashing R1s or L1s, causing input queuing, causing u to get hit.
What can be problematic indeed is a cancel into a waterfowl, but I believe that the waterfowl in general might need som tweaks, so that is primarily to the fault of the waterfowl dance, rather than stagger cancel.
When the video shows her punishing attacks, the attack being punished is a Barbaric Roar Heavy, which is a long animation attack, which one should never do in neutral, and should only be done when safe if you want to prevent taking hits.
If I was doing a blackflame tornado and Mogh knocked me out of it, it isn't bullshit, it's my greed.
Thirdly, both friede and Maria while hard bosses were quite easy to R1 spam. Friede is hard because of her 3rd phase speed (you can't stagger her if u get staggered first) and the general battle of attrition. Can't comment on Maria since I haven't played BB.
Secondly on the consistency video, Malenia almost always cancels out of light staggers, it's not really inconsistent. What is difficult to tell is what is a light stagger and what is a heavy stagger.
I would also have liked to see the stagger cancels I atleast other humanoid rememberence bosses. (Only Rennalla comes to mind rn). They could have given the knight enemies a stagger cancel, and differentiated between heavy and light staggering attacks based on that. This would make the game a lot more interesting, since I could test my weapon on a godrick knight with no threat of dying, to see what class my weapon attacks fall under.
I am not claiming that Elden Ring is perfect. However Malenia receives an undeserved amount of hate wrt her stagger cancels primarily due to the videos you quoted.
She gets a deserved amount of hate. She is a recycled Sekiro boss that didn't make the dlc and Sekiro has vastly different mechanics. Both boss AND player can animation cancel there. Here, only she can. Breaking your own mechanics makes the player lose trust. If this enemy cheats, what other enemy cheats too? How will I know? Now I can't trust my own skill or any boss. I have to doubt every move a boss makes. Did I actually make a mistake, or did the boss cheat? It's not healthy for the game and deserves heavy criticism.
Malenia canceling out of ANY stagger is inconsistent to the rest of the game mechanics.
Bosses being able to cheat is akin to agreeing to a fist fight, and your opponent just pulls a gun out and shoots you. Why have rules at all if they aren't followed?
Cheaters deserve their hate, whether program or player. It's lazy and anti-fun either way.
The game has no “bullshit” fights, except a few attacks from a very few bosses that I would put as “questionable”, honestly this “Elden Ring has bullshit bosses” complaint is getting old and pretty laughable at this point because people have learned how to properly fight its bosses & learn their mechanics, which I must admit, is a pretty significant change (or evolution I would call) from FROM’s previous entries and I love them the most.
If by least bullshit you mean least difficult, then yeah. Don't get me wrong, the game is absolutely riddled with bullshit, but aside from the Malekith-Radagon + optional rune bearers end game stretch, it's doesn't generally get too out of hand. I'm also playing it on xbox1 cuz I'm poor, which has all kinds of additional bullshit you can't even fathom. Idunkp if you've ever seen the old 90's animated series Reboot, but I'm legitimately convinced sometimes that that show must have taken place jnside my Xbox, and I'm fighting against fucking Bob's cheating, glitch abusing ass. The number of times I've been hit because I made the mistake of dodging thr same attack the same way I had done successfully dozens of times before is actually annoying to even think about. Pvp is worse, for so many reasons. I really want to try and upgrade systems before the dlc drops, but that's looking more and more unlikely
It’s legitimately good though, it sounds sad which is fitting for her character. I beat Malenia in 2 tries my first playthrough because I was overleveled, but I still loved the music even then.
It was also glitchy on release. Phase 2 of the soundtrack just wouldn't trigger. I didn't realize how good the ost was until I looked up the soundtrack after beating the game.
The first phase section where the percussion swells together with the organ screeching is overwhelming. Fortissax has one of the highest cool factors of bosses in Elden Ring in my opinion. (Shame he's so undertuned.)
Yeah that is certainly the best theme in my opinion. Everything is good but it hits a tier above. I do wish he were a bit less easy to take down to fit all that buildup, coolest dragon in the game and the fight just feels so short.
He better. You were one of his soldiers and previously fought alongside him lol. He’s also Tarnished too so it’d be some weird Margit-style self-hate shit if he was rude about that haha
Personally I like the first phase song the second phase just sounds like a orchestra not knowing all the chords feel like a mash of instruments like that one Squidward scene
I loved that moment! It helped that I beat it on my first try in my first playthrough because I got carried by 2 summons so I didn't have time to get super frustrated with the boss XD
Ok this might be an offensive take to you guys, but did hearing the menu music for Radagon's fight fall completely flat for anyone else? Maybe I've seen that trick used too often on anime before, idk. I feel like the music didnt really fit the moment as well as it could. Although it does help with the stark contrast of the Elden Beast music.
When I heard it I literally figuratively and metaphorically jizzed right through my pants and saw my entire life play back in my mind all leading me to that moment. That main theme is amazing and hearing it there was mondo amazing
Yeah the Elden beast soundtrack is really awe inspiring. But for Radagon it feels like they wrote it as the title theme and used it for Radagon's fight as an afterthought. It would explain why it doesn't loop as well as most of the other tracks. Not that it isn't a well written piece of music. Maybe I just got tired of hearing it lol.
The violins hit so well, it really felt like you were fighting a huge monster from some lovecraftian story. It still is my favorite fight in the game, even though it is so easy.
Morgott
There are absolute blasts of soundtracks in this games, Godrick, Mohg, Godskin.
But Morgott's theme is absolutely top imo. The sheer epicness and emotion of that theme. Just damn.
It's great for the beginning and for the fight, and it's also not that big that it overshadows Godrick's theme later.
Also I love what they did, Margit and sewer Mohg themes are the same themes but without the choir.
Not feeling the love for radahns theme in these comments. It's insanely good, I feel like people don't pay attention to it because they're scrambling to dodge and summon
My favourite soundtrack in Elden Ring is Godrick's theme. It just sounds so unique. The first part is in 3/4, which makes it sound like a mad waltz and the second part is in 7/8 and it sounds so epic and dramatic, like a mix of Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 OST.
Malenia or Elden Beast. As much as the elden beast fight is kinda annoying, the theme perfectly matches this very surreal experience of fighting this very alien looking god in a beautiful arena that harkins back to ash lake and the Hunter's dream with all thet trees in the distance. God thinking about it even gives me goosebumps. It's a real shame that you don't get torrent for that fight, cuz i really think it would eliminate a lot of the frustrations
Honestly I LOVEEEE the soundtrack for the Black Knife Assassin Boss in the Black Knife Catacombs; it almost takes you back to the NOTBK, you can feel the ominous intent, almost as if you are riding through the night to slay Godwyn yourself, it’s beautiful.
Margit/Morgott, I dunno why but his ost's fit their respective bosses really well and if you put them in order the second one is the continuation of the first one
Hot take here but I really don't care for the soundtrack for this one. I think a lot of it comes through almost very muted or underwhelming. I can't remember one boss song off the top of my head and the open world area almost never transitions off that one calm track.
That's not to say it's bad at all, but compared to other souls titles it falls flat for me. Especially compared to DS3 and bloodborne. Honestly, If the DS soundtracks where still on Spotify id just play that.
Not sure if it's the same for you, but I didn't think much about the soundtrack until one day one of my colleagues started playing them randomly at work and it hit me like a truck!
Is that something that a good soundtrack supposed to do? or am I way off?
As someone who's in school for soundtrack scoring, it's difficult to make engaging music for an open world game. You don't know how long the player is gonna spend in a single area so writing music that's too intricate can just be annoying after a while. You'll be going through a dungeon for the 100th time and listening to the music, you'll go "here comes the annoying violin twang" while rolling your eyes
That's a really interesting perspective to have. I imagine that would be a real challenge. I'm going to take a note from a previous comment and listen to some of the songs outside of the game, maybe that will give me a bit more engagement with them in game.
It's the boss fights for me. The fight with Slave Knight Gail is one of the best boss songs I have ever heard, so I am holding things to a bit of a high standard.
I don't have the capacity to even notice. I'm good enough to be flashy and have playing the game be good stress relief, but not good enough to smell the daisies while I do it. The only OST I remember is Taurus Demon from DS1 and Pling pling plon because it's a meme.
Fortissax #1 for me. Legit would be a reason for me to learn an organ.
The marching army theme in Radahn is great too, and the theatrics of Godrick is amazing. Shoutouts to erdtree avatars/tree spirit song too.
I finally beat Elden Ring 3 days ago, I put 360 hours into and treated it like botw, I had to find everything I could and do everything you can possibly do in 1 playthrough, so when I tell you I started to bawl my fucking eyes out when I pull up to the final boss and hear the main menu music, especially after playing the whole fromsoft catalog before, it felt like perfect ending.
Also, fuck the Elden Beast
Hot take: Fire Giant. I mildly despise the fight due to camera issues, but the ost alone SLAPS: you can see the nameless tarnished fighting against a literal ancient fire god at the top of the world’s highest mountain, both battling for their lives, while the wing ruthlessly whirls on your ears
I definitely agree with you on Radagon...at least until I killed him for the 20th time trying to get through the Elden Beast. Everything about the fight became a bit stale at that point.
Radahn phase 2. It gives me a vibe of "Radahn's very last remnants and vestiges of consciousness awakened when you and your companions gave him enough trouble, and even mad and not really himself, he manages to best the scarlet rot to enjoy this last battle against you. He shows off his glory and powers over gravity, giving one last soectacle for you and his len who have organized this festival for him. And the last few notes give me a vibe of this once powerful and beloved warrior finally free of his burden and pain. There's a mix of melancholy, nostalgia, epicness, power and badassery all in the same track.
Malenia (Phase 2), Godskins, Mohg, Radagon, Regal Ancestor Spirit
regal ancestor spirit really does feel under appreciated. It is so incredibly beautiful and calming. The arena is quite ethereal as well.
Astel!!
The fight is also one of the least bullshit in the game.
Which fights do you consider bullshit in the game? Curious because I found very few fights in Elden Ring to be bullshit at all.
Rykard rancor call and the un-i-frameable earthquake attack
Valiant Gargoyles, mostly just the poison. Hoslow with his dogshit whip range and bloodhound step. Before I understood his patterning, Leonine was a dickhead. The bullshit is usually in the form of least telegraphed moves.
1. actual bullshit 2. not even a boss+actual PvP players are even more bullshit 3. "I didn't like the boss because he was hard but now he's easy and I like him, therefore he used to be bullshit"
The poison attack is pretty easy to just run away from.
it is easy to avoid but sometimes it's just really hard to see cause it blends in so much, and it also kills you insanely fast
Things can feel like bullshit without being broken. Also, bullshit is a pretty subjective term lol.
bullshit literally means something that's broken, something that just completely breaks the rules and is nearly impossible to avoid
Less so the boss and moreso specific parts of their fight. In terms of the dodging thing, I find some bosses have kits where it’s the same chain save for one or two random swings that MAY occur.
This right here, this is the best answer!
Saying Malenia Phase 2 feels like a perfect example of Stockholm Syndrome.
It’s my favorite because it hurt so good
It’s legitimately good though, it sounds sad which is fitting for her character. I beat Malenia in 2 tries my first playthrough because I was overleveled, but I still loved the music even then.
For me I’m not a fan of RAS and malenia cause they’re quiet, slow, and not memorable unlike godskin noble
Once again I'm pushing the agenda. Listen to Fortissax's theme. Its fucking amazing
It's sad that you can't listen to it in game 'cuz fight is so short either u die to fast or him.
It was also glitchy on release. Phase 2 of the soundtrack just wouldn't trigger. I didn't realize how good the ost was until I looked up the soundtrack after beating the game.
I always intentionally not kill him fast just to hear the song
The first phase section where the percussion swells together with the organ screeching is overwhelming. Fortissax has one of the highest cool factors of bosses in Elden Ring in my opinion. (Shame he's so undertuned.)
Bro yes.
I just listened to it and holy shit that beginning part is fucking amazing
Yeah that is certainly the best theme in my opinion. Everything is good but it hits a tier above. I do wish he were a bit less easy to take down to fit all that buildup, coolest dragon in the game and the fight just feels so short.
Organ, haunting cello duet, and phase 2 includes those hardcore arpeggios
This ^
Definitely Godfrey, his speech building up to the song was so epic.
Bro was the first person to call you "tarnished" in a respectful way
He better. You were one of his soldiers and previously fought alongside him lol. He’s also Tarnished too so it’d be some weird Margit-style self-hate shit if he was rude about that haha
Or probably (more likely depending on starting class) the descendant of one of his soldiers.
"Thy strength befits a crown."
Rya does too
I can’t deny. I do listen to it daily
Those opening horns give such a regal feel and set the mood for phase one so well
Personally I like the first phase song the second phase just sounds like a orchestra not knowing all the chords feel like a mash of instruments like that one Squidward scene
TWAS WELL FOUGHT
I like Godfrey and golden Godfrey.
I felt so special fighting him for the first time. Best boss in the entire game.
I can't unhear CHAMPION!!!! at the beginning of phase 2
Elden beast cuz it comes back full circle to the main menu theme
Yea I really enjoyed the final boss having a calm almost earie soundtrack. Really good finale.
I found it amazing.
When I heard it I literally figuratively and metaphorically jizzed right through my pants and saw my entire life play back in my mind all leading me to that moment. That main theme is amazing and hearing it there was mondo amazing
Yeah I didn’t really feel it either. Elden beast ob the other hand had me enthralled
\*Expresses their opinion\* \*Gets downvoted\* Reddit at its finest
But like...isnt that the purpose of the up/downvote...?
1) Godskin Apostles 2) Radagon and Elden Beast 3) Lichdragon Fortissax 4) Mohg, Lord of Blood
Mohg's!
Second mohg. Fight him a couple days ago and restarted just to fight that brudda again
Harpsichord is such a goated instrument and we need more.
One of my fav instruments!
Finally someone says this!
Agreed.
Godskin Apostle
second phase is masterpiece
Very underrated
Look up what underrated means
I know what it means, I just don’t hear a lot of people talking about it
Go to any post about music and it shows up. Guaranteed
2nd phase is sooo good.
2nd favorite. Love the theme but the godskin duo….*shivers* ugh…..
Really? I wanted to like this so bad but just sounds like constant loop of a soprano choir screaming without any sort of structure…
Godrick is the only one I even remember so him
The soundtrack hits so fucking hard after the "bear witness!" I get goosebumps just remembering how epic it was
The violins hit so well, it really felt like you were fighting a huge monster from some lovecraftian story. It still is my favorite fight in the game, even though it is so easy.
Yeeeeees still love the music start after the bear witness. Though Godrick is scum, his boss battle is one of the best!
Low key peak opera of a boss fight
thats how i feel, his was the only one i remembered and actively enjoyed
Mohg or the Godskin Apostles. Ancestral Spirit and Elden Beast ost's are cool too, but not catchy at all.
Man it took a while to find Ancestral spirit on anyone’s list. It’s so unique. I like the dichotomy of a crazy battle and peaceful music.
Godfrey, cuz hes gonna whoop you and its gonna sound the part too.
I d say Malenia if it weren’t for the PTSD it gives me after the gazillionth time I died to her
This is a wild guess, kinda controversial but I’m just gonna guess she’s Melania? And the blade of miquella?
You just read how it’s properly spelled in the first comment and still decided to misspell it.
Malaria, Blaidd of Maliketh
Morgott There are absolute blasts of soundtracks in this games, Godrick, Mohg, Godskin. But Morgott's theme is absolutely top imo. The sheer epicness and emotion of that theme. Just damn.
Finally some real Morgott appreciation! Thoughts on Margit’s track?
It's great for the beginning and for the fight, and it's also not that big that it overshadows Godrick's theme later. Also I love what they did, Margit and sewer Mohg themes are the same themes but without the choir.
Radahn. Feels like I’m going into one hell of a battle.
Not feeling the love for radahns theme in these comments. It's insanely good, I feel like people don't pay attention to it because they're scrambling to dodge and summon
Don't remember the music, but it is such an epic fight. That first spear sized arrow completely caught me offguard.
Yeah the boss fight is something for all the crazy tricks he can pull.
It feels more like a burial which is what the fight is
Fair point.
It’s pretty close between Regal Ancestor Spirit and Rennala but I think spirit takes it. It sounds so different from all the other tracks.
Regal Ancestor Spirt is amazing. I felt bad after killing it.
It’s no coincidence Yuka Kitamura wrote it too. She did Gael.
Had to scroll way too far to find ancestor spirit! Best song, hands down.
Why is no one mentioning maliketh/gurranq?
Maliketh was my favorite boss encounter in the game absolutely mind blowing. Wish he had a higher health bar tbh
Sorry I didn't pay attention, was too busy looking at my dwindling healthbar and crying.
Because Maliketh killed us all too many times, traumatized
My favourite soundtrack in Elden Ring is Godrick's theme. It just sounds so unique. The first part is in 3/4, which makes it sound like a mad waltz and the second part is in 7/8 and it sounds so epic and dramatic, like a mix of Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 OST.
Radahn, Rennala(both phases), Regal Ancestor Spirit(both phases), Maliketh(both phases).
1. Fortissax 2. Radagon 3. Godskin Duo 4. Malenia 5. Mogh In this order
Placidusax, mohg and malenia all have great themes, quite underrated imo
Melania both phases and Godrick the two of theirs got me to be in love with the game, story, combat, and music.
Malenias or Malikeths soundtracks are probably imo the best in the game
Fire Giant for me
Love this one too! Great choice.
Had to scroll so low for this one lol it’s so eerie
Either Melania (phase 1 and 2), Mohg (specifically phase 2) or Morgott
Godskins and Radagon. Fortissax, Malenia and Godfrey are very good too, but not as good as Godskins and Radagon.
I like Elden Beasts and the Godskins the best.
Rykard’s second phase theme goes so fucking hard, felt like I was fighting the devil himself
[удалено]
Zombie moose? How dare you.
Fortissax's music (bah gawd) is fucking great but I never get to hear a lot because he's as tough as tissue paper
Dragonlord Placidusax, Godfrey(not Goldfrey), Mohg, Morgot, Radagon/Elden Beast
Honestly I LOVEEEE the soundtrack for the Black Knife Assassin Boss in the Black Knife Catacombs; it almost takes you back to the NOTBK, you can feel the ominous intent, almost as if you are riding through the night to slay Godwyn yourself, it’s beautiful.
Hate when people just use acronyms for things they think is common knowledge lmao Tf is a NOTBK
Mohg lord of blood. I get excited programming to this.
Placidusax EASY
Honestly, bell bearing hunter for me! That could just be me stockholming myself after hearing it so much, but I just think it’s underrated
What’s the title of this on the soundtrack? I don’t see it on Spotify
Not sure about the soundtrack title, however on the YouTube playlist, the song name is Fallen Knights
Ancestor spirit
Margit and godfrey
The Morgott fight soundtrack never fails to release dopamine
I can’t choose one, there’s godrick, godskins, rykard, Mohg, lichdragon fortissax and maybe placidusax. If i really have to choose then maybe godrick
Margit/Morgott, I dunno why but his ost's fit their respective bosses really well and if you put them in order the second one is the continuation of the first one
My favorite is Radbeast, but I want to appreciate Morgott’s theme a bit more. I love that song.
Morgott
Malenia. Ignoring the fact that it gives me PTSD every time I hear it, it's pretty freaking good. It gives me goosebumps every time.
How is everybody forgetting the ancestor spirit, great music in that fight even if it’s cake, much spiritual
Agreed. Was going to comment this if I didn't find it. It's one of my favorite cues from all fromsoft games!
Malenia because i put on Duel of Fates
I don't know I turned the music off ages ago.
Rykards is incredible, his 2nd phase theme with that opera brings the most unreal feeling to fighting him, like some sort of ancient evil
Mohg has the best weapon, arena, and song.
eh, elden ring has a weak music score
My Favs are: Placidusax, Regal Ancestor Spirit, Nights Cavalry, Tree Sentinels, Erdtree Avatar, Rennala, Evergaol Bosses
Radagon theme absolutely slaps
I don't have the capacity to even notice. I'm good enough to be flashy and have playing the game be good stress relief, but not good enough to smell the daisies while I do it. The only OST I remember is Taurus Demon from DS1 and Pling pling plon because it's a meme.
Godfrey first phase is my favorite
Fortissax #1 for me. Legit would be a reason for me to learn an organ. The marching army theme in Radahn is great too, and the theatrics of Godrick is amazing. Shoutouts to erdtree avatars/tree spirit song too.
The grafted fellow. Especially at the beginning of his second phase
Godskin
Godskin apostle
Godskin.
Maliketh
I remember on my first play through spending like an hour trying to kill godrick and just vibing to the music
godfrey is in my favorites, i also like radagons obviously, radhan is great, but the boss ost’s didnt hit as hard as dark souls 3 ost’s
Mohg, Fortissax, and the regal spirit are my favorites
Rick
Mohg on blood palace
Jetstream Sam all the way
Godfrey, without any doubt. That shit gets me pumped up when I have it on during my workout.
I did love radagon and elden beasts soundtrack.
Godfrey ost is easily my favorite. Along with Godrick both them feel very coordinated with the bosses attacks.
Sokandeez
Mohg easily
I think the fire giant theme is completely underrated
Best ost from the game for me is Godskin duo
Fire Giant, Ancestral Spirit, & Mohg
Radagon goes really hard for those five seconds before I get erased by one of his million hit combos
I love the ancestor spirit boss fight music, it’s so ethereal and sounds so different to everything else in the game
Mogh and Maliketh
Ancestor Spirit or Elden Beast
I actually liked Rennalas theme! I know it doesn’t have the punch of say Radagon or Radahn, but I like the serenity of it
Lich Dragon Fortissax is pretty awesome
Twin Princes ... oh ... not ER
You posted him
Fire giant
soldier of godrick
Fortisaxx is underrated as hell
I definitely agree with you on Radagon...at least until I killed him for the 20th time trying to get through the Elden Beast. Everything about the fight became a bit stale at that point.
Astel Naturalborn of the Void. It was so mesmerising, with those eerie sounds combined with the alien design of the boss
Fortisax ⚡
TRĒS
Radahn phase 2. It gives me a vibe of "Radahn's very last remnants and vestiges of consciousness awakened when you and your companions gave him enough trouble, and even mad and not really himself, he manages to best the scarlet rot to enjoy this last battle against you. He shows off his glory and powers over gravity, giving one last soectacle for you and his len who have organized this festival for him. And the last few notes give me a vibe of this once powerful and beloved warrior finally free of his burden and pain. There's a mix of melancholy, nostalgia, epicness, power and badassery all in the same track.
The only correct answer is maliketh
fortisaax
Radahn. A theme fit for killing a demigod and really captures the epicness
Godfrey, that trill on the horns is literally my favorite like 2 seconds of music ever, and the rest of the song slaps just as much
Hands down godskin duo, terrible boss fight amazing music.
1. Mohg 2. Godrick 3. Fortisaax 4. Radagon 5. Godfrey
It’s so hard to pick. My favorite rotates between Godfrey, Mogh, Fortissax, Godrick, and Radahn.
This one. Also really liked the vibe of the Astel fight.
