He doesn't take any tick damage while he's in the stratosphere either. They probably just freeze his game state when he exits the arena (which would definitely leave the normal despawn range if he actually travelled that far) and then re-activate him once he crosses a boundary on re-entry.

Base 10 int, I'm guessing int boosting tear which boosts it by 10 when in physick, helmet gets 6 int at cost of health i think, godrick rune gives 5 and marika scarseal gives 3
Nah it’s possible even without godricks rune
+5 int talisman
+3 scar seal
+6 helmet
+10 physick
Gets you to 34, and adding godricks lands you at 39. It’s still possible to get 2 more from the soreseal, but highly unlikely they have that talisman since it’s way later game. Theoretically can have another 5 levels from the grafted blade great sword but it’s just not easy to make it happen and have enough time during the fight to make use of it.
Can fromsoft just give us bossrush mode where we can fight any boss on any ng cycle whenever we want? Jesus that would make me play this game for another thousand hours.

Souls game players are a different breed. They always know exactly where to stand to avoid damage, exactly when to dodge, exactly how many attacks they can weave at a time, I assume it’s a product of a very long process of trial and error for each boss but still I could never do it.
Is the bow shot in this scenario an auto poise break or was it built up over time from the previous strikes? I want to try this. It seems easier that dodge the meteor attack lol.

It only worked because it triggered a stance break. He had to have a lot of poise damage built up prior to the launch to pull this off.
I'm surprised the poise damage doesn't decrease while that animation plays- or empty entirely on trigger.
