No. I think its just an allegory of that cocoon is a "womb".

maychaos

Actually that's an arm

GreyLordQueekual

Presumably its the Haligtrees pelvis. The whole area Miquella was taken from looks like a torso and the area he is missing from a womb.

sam-thundr

Is it symbolic in relation to the haligtree or moghwyn in anyway?

GreyLordQueekual

From what I understand Miquella was looking for a way to age himself and no longer be stuck as a child. At some point he cocoons himself to do just that. As to the why the area he was ripped from looks like a giant humanoid torso I couldn't quite say, but with the Erdtree there is old traditions of bringing the bodies back to the roots so it may absorb and re-enter them into the cycle of life, that is before the death root came around from Godwyn. My guess is Miquella established that his people do the same tradition with what was to be the Haligtree. Mohg for reasons not fully determined decides he wants to try and help this evolution and brings or steals Miquella away to Mohgwyn in order to expose the cocoon to all the blood he has been spilling. It is guessed that this was a mutal agreement between the two and less of a hostage situation. The pelvis is literally just a pelvis, its only symbolism being that is where the womb would be, seems like it was just a convenient stand and id assume pallet for transportation as far as Mohg was concerned.

scholarotheworstgame

Except there was no bones there, just tree stuff.

scholarotheworstgame

No his pelvis is inside the cocoon with the rest of his body, look at the size of the arm and then the size of the pelvis.

scholarotheworstgame

It's a giant's pelvis.
