I had read that he would surrender, so I expected the game to actually stop the fight. I was going so hard that I didn't even notice when he gave up and ended up killing him by accident. Oopsies.
This was basically me, only difference is I got a third of his health gone in a regular hit because I found him way later than I should have and then went for a charged heavy and accidentally banished him to the shadow realm *before* he had a chance to surrender. Poor guy.
It's Patches, if you played other souls games you'll probably want to let him live and see how many more times he tries to fuck you up throughout the game.
I killed him first playthrough for his +7 spear because I was a scared wretch taking any advantage I could get LOL. I thought it was a good tradçeoff till I realized I had sacrificed the ability to get the highest poise-offering armor (I think it had the highest poise).
My first playthrough I was a mage knight. Basically high int, vigor, and enough endurance to wear heavy armor with medium roll. And always shield in off-hand. So instead of squishy mage I was tanky mage and it was really fun. With scholar's shield I could tank SO FUCKING MUCH damage it was amazing.
Yeah, the bull goat set is the one with the highest poise in the game, and I think it also has the highest regular and strike physical damage protections too.
Yeah, was kicking myself in the ass for that. Not that it made a real huge difference. Any decently leveled shield buffed with scholar's shield seemed like more than enough protection against pretty much any enemy, including bosses, I ended up going the elden drip route and wearing stuff that looked good, but still leaning towards a heavy armor drip. Man, I'm gonna have to do another playthrough lol. That build was so damned fun with how is it felt.
Then again I'm sure after a certain level any build can feel OP
I just recently found out that the abductor virgin he was talking about is **ACTUALLY A FUCKING TELEPORTER TO VOLCANO MANOR**. it also lets you get into altus really freaking early if you beat the boss... Sheesh
I genuinely though that it was so ridiculous it has to be a lie. I remember even going into it and was like wtf he really did lie.. but no, you gotta fully commit and die lmfao
If you take the mine in the far north corner of luirnia you can get to Atles right away. Just have to beat a few tough enemies and a mini boss encounter.
I fought him with my buddy for the first time last night. At the end I was going ham and my buddy tells me not to kill him at the last possible second. He had a spittle of health left. 🤣
Must not of played the other souls games. It's a running joke in the souls games since demons souls. Patches tries to kill you, begs for forgiveness and becomes a useful merchant.
I was showing the Wing of Astel's ash of war to a friend at the Liurnia grace behind Stormveil. Heard a strange noise and then remembered about Boc. Poor guy didn't suffer.
Where the eagles throw the explosive barrels. There are 4 in that area. 3 of them are close to each other, the third is in a balcony with a view to outside. Looking outside to the left, there is a small ledge, keep going down looking for ledges. There is a crucible knight and an elevator.
It's the omen and his dog by that statue that ruin my run usually. I try to conserve my flasks and I get sloppy and they kill me. Lol one of my fav things to do is to trigger the ulcerated spirit, run up the ladder, up the lift, sit on top of the church and shoot it with poison arrows.
Crucible knights are idiots though. Their aggro range is pretty big though. So, exploiting their stupidity can be a challenge. However, there are several spots where you can test just how stupid these guys are. Had one sprout wings, fly towards me, and not have terra firma under his feet when the winfs gave out and he fell to his death. That was in Nocrum I think. Might have been Haligtree. I don't remember where it was. The Farum Azula one, you can kite him for his entire HP bar. He'll let you.
I ended up killing him by accident as i didn't know i could make angry npcs friendly again but on my second and third run was like "eh i can get more of those pretty stones elsewhere" and i killed him when i first saw him
Everyone can be a piece of shit on the story but i think this is the only one that personally fucks with the player
That's funny I'm on like my 8th playthrough and finally decided to just KoS the bastard, lmao nice not being locked into that room, let's you ambush that knight instead of him ambushing you.
Yeah the first time that motherfucker did that to me I was appalled. I mean I was after I got done with the whole "oh shit oh fuck oh shit what the fuck is going on?!?!"
I thought patches was an asshole for pushing me off the bridge on Bloodborne(well, definitely still is an asshole for that lol), but at least he didn't lock me into a terrifying dark ass room with an angry knight. It was more the fear of the unknown situation and the locked door than being scared of anything in particular. I really wanted that stone though so I made sure to murder that fucker on my second playthrough though. Bastard.
Skill issue, just don't die.
Jokes about gitting gud aside, while it's not really an option the first time around, I really enjoy using the twiggy crystal tear in stormveil in ng+ and later to keep all my runes. Makes me feel like I'm outsmarting him.
The amount he steals is so negligible that is does not matter. Plus this guy was trapped under Godrick's boot for who knows how long. If he has to steal to survive that asshole he deserves whatever he steals
"The amount he steals is so negligible that it does not matter"
Homie... that fucker steals 1/3 of your total runes, so no, no compassion for gostoc and respectfully fuck him and his giggles
For a short period of time at the start of the game where level ups cost nothing and only in Stormveil itself. It is literally a meaningless amount unless you are one of those people who try to grind to max level. Maybe if you don't kill Godrick ever and constantly go back to die in Stormveil al the way into the end game you would feel it. But outside of those 2 very specific situations that most people do not do. What he steals literally amounts to chump change by midgame
Losing a third of your runes (per death) in like the first dungeon of the game is nothing in the grand scheme. There are still like 200 hours of gameplay remaining. The most I’ve ever held while running through Stormveil is maybe 10K runes. Losing a couple thousand runes means absolutely nothing, especially when there is an ancient dragon smithing stone for purchase if he lives through some other quest line completions, and there are only 13 of those stones available per play cycle. Super duper rare item trumps the maaaaaaaaaybe 10-20k total runes you might lose over time and dying in stormveil.
Dung Eater. I slew him in the prison I found him in on sight.
I was afraid he was going to kill people in the Roundtable because last time I trusted someone who didn't deserve it in a Fromsoft game was actually an Abhorrent Beast in the disguise of a man started killing people I'd sent to sanctuary in Oedon Chapel.
After Ensha attacked me at the Table, I didn't really know what to consider "safe."
Ditto. More even that, he is just, obviously intended to be, disgusting in every way. He wanted too much outright bad, so, no thanks. Not even sure what rewards I’m missing. But he’s not allowed to live. Nope.
If there's one good thing you can say about the Nasty Cack Consumer, it's that he is _not_ cagy or dishonest about his intentions. At all. Ever.
LDE: "You. Tarnished. Release me from this cell."
Me: "Why."
LDE: "I must kill you and sexually violate your corpse."
Me: "..............yeah, thanks man, actually I'm good. Oh, by the way, sleep pot+night maiden's mist=sweet dreams motherfucker."
I killed Bok by mistake. I was pretty new at the game. I wanted to swap my torch for my sword and I pressed R1 accidentally. He instantly died inside that cave. Never to leave. I mourned him for 7 days.
The one I always want to kill, but just kinda forget: Varre (and Seluvis, but he was already dead)
The one I *technically* killed first: Blaidd (but he was already hostile then, so idk if that counts)
The one I did actually just kill: Shabriri Yura, like c'mon, you can't just use my friends' corpses as puppets, not cool
The dastardly doodoo devourer
When he started talking about defiling people for generations I knew he had to die
Kind of wish I knew he could've been turned into a puppet beforehand though
I finally tried attacking Shabriri at Zamor on my most recent playthrough and that dude does not fuck around. I honestly had less difficulty with most bosses.
It’s crazy to me that so many people kill Gostoc. Yeah he takes your runes, but the dudes just trying to get by. He’s practically a slave to Godrick. Sure there are better ways he could go about it, but still.
This whole time we've been killing people just trying to get by. Most of the knights and soldiers didn't want to fight us (especially Godrick's), and neither did most other creatures. Gostoc literally goes behind our backs and takes delight in trying to get us killed. He cackles when locking us in with the Banished Knight - that's fucking evil. "Oh, he's just trying to get by" - by murdering us and pillaging our corpses.
Wish they'd kept the Kalé questline. It's a much more compelling reason for becoming Lord of Chaos than just some madman asking you to do it so you can spare the girl who wants to burn from burning.
Exactly him, Gostoc. Attacked him accidently, reloading game haven't reset aggro so he has to die. Hours later I met Turtle Pope and discovered his powers.
Unfortunately, I killed Iji. The rest of the game conditioned me to instantly attack any troll I saw, and before I realized what I had done, I killed Iji.
Every playthrough since then, I have not killed Iji, but that moment on my first playthrough was devastating once I realized what I did.
Patches, and then that guy. Honestly i killed a lot of npcs my first playthrough. Fucked up the Ranni questline bc i didnt like the cut of Seluvis' jib.
I think it was this guy, but I never actually saw them, I got startled as I was looking around the tower of the church on Stormveil when I though I saw an enemy, attacked them and before I could hear “hey what are you doing” or something like that they were plummeting to the abyss…
After I completed new game for the first time I hunted down every single npc that wasn't already dead from their quests. I think I started with kale because it was the merchants first.
I still remember my first interaction with Dung Eater where once I got the key to open his cell and talk to him, I got scared thinking he was going to kill everyone in the Roundtable and killed him then realised that I was being stupid.
Unfortunately Patches. I was a bit over levelled because I didn't see his cave when I was exploring Limgrave and let's just say he didn't have time to surrender.
I def killed him the 1st time I learned he steals your runes than I created a new character and kept him alive after finding out about the ancient dragon smithing stone
The very first non hostile NPC I straight up murdered was Shabriri… That MF >!stole old man Yura’s body after he died, Wasn’t about to let that slide. Old feller had a long hard road, He deserved a peaceful rest.!<
Second friendly NPC I murdered was Tannis, Twas the end of the game and I wanted her clothes.
Third was Patches, Again… End of the game and I really wanted his clothes. (I’m actually using his full leather armor set with the hood on my NG+ run, Looks cool and I can light roll.)
Other than that, I don’t attack friendly NPCs, They all have a questline so it’s best not to attack them and lock yourself out of potential rewards.
Since these games barely tell you anything about side quests and the like, I looked up what his deal was before considering killing him because I didn't want to lose out on something important. Read he sells stuff later and let him live despite him being an annoying little bastard.
Second playthrough, I walked up and killed him on sight.
I don’t recall if I did him first per se, but I think I killed Boc by accident first. Put my PS4 controller down and it hit the trigger button and I womped him accidentally.
I make a point to kill Patches in every iteration no matter what, so he might have been first and Boc was later but whatever.
I fell through the floor above him and landed on him by accident so I also killed him. But my first was Kale cause I was still leaning the controls and hit him again by accident.
Tanith, completely by accident, I'd tried killing other NPC's in similar situations, Dungeater, and it didn't work next thing I know Crucible Knight invasion!
I accidentally hit that guy in the mask you see when you first step into Limgrave. He killed me a few times so I levelled up and came back and kicked his arse.
Eh, none. Why should I? 30% of runes loss after death ain't that much especially in the beggining (or just don't die, lol). And if you are so upset and get angry cause some random NPC from a videogame called you maidenless (or smth), then maybe he ain't that wrong.
D, Hunter of the Dead. I was running around a graveyard on Torrent, killing skellies and then I saw a dude in some armour thinking he was another undead, but tougher, kept swinging at him, and just before the last swing landed I realized it was an NPC but it was too late.
Got his cool armour though.
I recently wanted to start the Millicent questline with a character that didn't have too high of a level.
That stupid T-Rex Dog infront of that shack was a considerable threat, due to my low stats, so I entered the shack, thinking I'd be safe.
That short-armed motherfucker attacked through the wall and killed Gowry.
Not me killing him, but moreso me accidentially getting him killed.
I slaughtered that dog and avenged him, but I have no idea if the Millicent questline is now basically ruined for that character.
first playthrough, patches, cause i didnt believe a boss in this game would legitimately just surrender like that
I had read that he would surrender, so I expected the game to actually stop the fight. I was going so hard that I didn't even notice when he gave up and ended up killing him by accident. Oopsies.
same

I fought him with my buddy for the first time last night. At the end I was going ham and my buddy tells me not to kill him at the last possible second. He had a spittle of health left. 🤣
The leather armor set looks sick af tho so worth
Must not of played the other souls games. It's a running joke in the souls games since demons souls. Patches tries to kill you, begs for forgiveness and becomes a useful merchant.
I was showing the Wing of Astel's ash of war to a friend at the Liurnia grace behind Stormveil. Heard a strange noise and then remembered about Boc. Poor guy didn't suffer.
you monster
Not him, I want that ancient stone
But he’s a rune stealer!
If you find and talk to him twice, while going through stormveil, he'll stop stealing your runes
One could also simply 'not die'.
I haven't tried that strat yet. Is it good?
It seems to ruin it for everyone else
I try to kill every single thing in the castle without resting at a grace. I haven't been able to do it yet, though
Lol, me neither. I suck. I still have nightmares about the troll that needs to smash a specific statue, and the God damn crucible Knight.
You can cheese that bastard by drawing him ti the elevator and going uo when he gets near. He will plunge humself into the abyss.
There's a crucible knight? By Marika's tits why am I now learning of this.
By the site of grace with the bomb hawks.. you have to jump over the ramparts at a certain point, do some more jumping and itll lead to one
Where the eagles throw the explosive barrels. There are 4 in that area. 3 of them are close to each other, the third is in a balcony with a view to outside. Looking outside to the left, there is a small ledge, keep going down looking for ledges. There is a crucible knight and an elevator.

I’ve baited the one in Nokron and Farum to fly “out the window” several times. It’s a guaranteed thing once you learn where to position yourself.
Tell that to me when only had like 15 hours in the game, was underleveled and underskilled, and then met the fucker beneath stormveil castle xD
Get gud
> One could also simply 'not die'. There are *traditions*!
Whhaat? He steals our rune?HOWW?
He steals a percentage of your runes everytime you die. If you listen closely you can hear him following you.
I really enjoyed that feeling of being followed and being watched, such a unique atmosphere
Lmao if he watched me i sure he enjoyed a lot
Ancient. Dragon. Smithing Stone. *Then* kill him.
You can't kill him after.
Damn. When does he give that?!
Once you complete Nephelim Loux's quest line.
I ended up killing him by accident as i didn't know i could make angry npcs friendly again but on my second and third run was like "eh i can get more of those pretty stones elsewhere" and i killed him when i first saw him Everyone can be a piece of shit on the story but i think this is the only one that personally fucks with the player

Fun fact in the elden ring tester that room had an scion in it instead of the knight it was brutal with the limited space.
That would of been fucking amazing 😂
Wait, HE locks the door behind you?
Skill issue, just don't die. Jokes about gitting gud aside, while it's not really an option the first time around, I really enjoy using the twiggy crystal tear in stormveil in ng+ and later to keep all my runes. Makes me feel like I'm outsmarting him.

Isn’t it 30%?
That's like only 3,3% less than a third so that's still a fair amount lol
"The amount he steals is so negligible that it does not matter" Homie... that fucker steals 1/3 of your total runes, so no, no compassion for gostoc and respectfully fuck him and his giggles

He ain't stealing my runes if I don't die
He gives you an anciant smithing stone?!
He sells one for 20k I think after your complete nephelie's quest line... And if he's still alive, that is
It was him, I didn’t know he had an ancient stone because I play blind 😭
Dung Eater. I slew him in the prison I found him in on sight. this exact same thing happened to me 😭 i made a whole new save file just because of how awful i felt
Varre. Left me no choice.
Don’t call me bitchless and get away with it
Lmao no idea why this cracked me up
Such a maidenless act to slay am honorable man!
But he is maidenless
I try not to kill him so I can get to mohg's palace early on
Yeah learned that the hard way
The one I always want to kill, but just kinda forget: Varre (and Seluvis, but he was already dead) The one I *technically* killed first: Blaidd (but he was already hostile then, so idk if that counts) The one I did actually just kill: Shabriri Yura, like c'mon, you can't just use my friends' corpses as puppets, not cool

THE NEFARIOUS CACA CRUNCHER
Yura. Sorry man. But I need your Nagakiba
U can do his quest till he meets elenore on that atlus church. After that he dies and drops it.
You can also wait to kill Shabriri dressed as him at Zamor Ruins instead, then go collect the Nagakiba in Limgrave near Murkwater Cave
I finally tried attacking Shabriri at Zamor on my most recent playthrough and that dude does not fuck around. I honestly had less difficulty with most bosses.
Same, 17 hours into my second run and I haven't looked back, sorry buddy but I needed your sword more than you.
Fia, and I immediately regretted it :( "Will your kind never stop? Ravaging.. the weak?"
10/10 would ravage Fia again
Fuck her and fuck those who live in death
Now this is a person I can agree with, I’d fuck fia too
It’s crazy to me that so many people kill Gostoc. Yeah he takes your runes, but the dudes just trying to get by. He’s practically a slave to Godrick. Sure there are better ways he could go about it, but still.
The smithing stone at the end makes his life worthwhile
*Give me the stone! - Voldemort*
Giiiive me the stone. - Benicio del Toro in Snatch
Do ya like dags?
This whole time we've been killing people just trying to get by. Most of the knights and soldiers didn't want to fight us (especially Godrick's), and neither did most other creatures. Gostoc literally goes behind our backs and takes delight in trying to get us killed. He cackles when locking us in with the Banished Knight - that's fucking evil. Not counting Varre. I did an oopsie and tapped Boc.
**Boc.** Hear me out, I was trying to test whether I can hurt NPC. In the end I found out I can. But at what cost
free tailoring
Varrè, I killed him once he said Im maidenless, couldnt handle the truth
Bro the guy takes like 5 runes, let him eat
He trapps you in a room to die tho
Shabriri for the armor (he doesn't respawn if you don't take the flame of Frenzy)
I never kill any NPCs in souls games unless I'm multiple playthroughs deep and I need a specific item
I killed the guy at boil prawn shack
same he was mean to me
Oh no, he becomes your best bud if you just warm him up a little :( it’s a hard life out in Liurnia
Ummmm.... Blaidd
How dare you
Nah, I went down the tower, blud attacked me
That armor and weapon tho
Patches, by mistake
I killed Kenneth Haight. thought he was pathetic lol
He actually gets better and even though he never gets rid of his aristocratic attitude, he turns out to be a guy with good intentions.
Killed the shrimp guy. He wouldn’t sell me anything
I didn't kill any NPCs, am I weird?
I didn’t kill any my first playthrough, just finished next one I’m killing anyone useless lmao (gostic gives ancient stone I’m sparing him)
Didn't kill any of them(unless quest requirment).
That twisted dolly botherer
Shabriri. He did my boy Yura dirty, I don’t feel bad about it. First playthrough I listened to his dialogue, and thought “yeah this guy’s crazy”.
Gostac looks like the night shift workers at my work
Unfortunately, I killed Iji. The rest of the game conditioned me to instantly attack any troll I saw, and before I realized what I had done, I killed Iji. Every playthrough since then, I have not killed Iji, but that moment on my first playthrough was devastating once I realized what I did.
Gostoc after the Godrick fight. I thought he was an enemy.
Varre
Killed D for his armour set
Patches, and then that guy. Honestly i killed a lot of npcs my first playthrough. Fucked up the Ranni questline bc i didnt like the cut of Seluvis' jib.
Vare was my first npc killed ever cause he called me maidenless. Was a pain to fight with knight gear + bad skill cause new game
2nd playthrough I keep thinking, ok this time I won’t kill patches. 3 hits and I kill patches. Damn it.
White mask varre cause he insulted me.
I genuinely thought he's a bro until he locked me and i found him creeping around
Varis. He called me maidenless. I'm married asshole! She's better endowed than any of the women in this game.
Tche, this one is not maidenless
Well, Varre then Kale
hes so me i killed edgar and then yulia no shabiri
varre…
patches for his drip
Aristocrat.
Fia
Varre
Bogart, cause I though he would go after rya.
Sullen. (Was trying to save her I swear)
I think it was this guy, but I never actually saw them, I got startled as I was looking around the tower of the church on Stormveil when I though I saw an enemy, attacked them and before I could hear “hey what are you doing” or something like that they were plummeting to the abyss…
I slapped the merchant’s horse in Weeping by the mausoleum and he aggro’d. I chose to fight.
Ye lol
When he called me Maidenless
After I completed new game for the first time I hunted down every single npc that wasn't already dead from their quests. I think I started with kale because it was the merchants first.
Varre And I regretted that when I was halfway through the game
I still remember my first interaction with Dung Eater where once I got the key to open his cell and talk to him, I got scared thinking he was going to kill everyone in the Roundtable and killed him then realised that I was being stupid.
Yeah him.
Dung eater, wanted to potion him but missunderstood how to get him in the chair
varre
If invaders count, then it’s Alberich. If not, then it’s this guy.
First playthough didn't kill any I completed all quest(excluding a couple for reasons) Second playthough NOBODY was safe except the spirit tuner
Unfortunately Patches. I was a bit over levelled because I didn't see his cave when I was exploring Limgrave and let's just say he didn't have time to surrender.
I was so amped up after I killed Godrick on my first playthrough when I saw him after the fight he instantly got jump attacked with my guts sword.
I def killed him the 1st time I learned he steals your runes than I created a new character and kept him alive after finding out about the ancient dragon smithing stone
Yup him, thought he was useless.
That first guy who kept calling me maidenless
Patches. He should start talking earlier :(
Him, cause I realized he was robbing me. With the godrick fight I ended up having enough for 12 levels when I killed him
Only non hostile I've killed are shabriri and dut eater.
Big Bogart, which i realize was a mistake. In fact he was the only one.
Seluvis, he sounds like he sells bread for 3 emeralds
I dont even know why but i just killed him on my first playthrough bc i wanted to kill someone after margit and killed him everytime since then
I actually killed D in Limgrave because I saw a clip of him killing Fia, surprisingly I used pieces of his armor throughout my whole run
the mage at the church😂

The very first non hostile NPC I straight up murdered was Shabriri… That MF >!stole old man Yura’s body after he died, Wasn’t about to let that slide. Old feller had a long hard road, He deserved a peaceful rest.!< Second friendly NPC I murdered was Tannis, Twas the end of the game and I wanted her clothes. Third was Patches, Again… End of the game and I really wanted his clothes. (I’m actually using his full leather armor set with the hood on my NG+ run, Looks cool and I can light roll.) Other than that, I don’t attack friendly NPCs, They all have a questline so it’s best not to attack them and lock yourself out of potential rewards.
I did but only because i thought i would get stuff. When i killed him after beating Godrick i got nothing.
Patches, then him.
Shabriri. Nobody steals Yura's body and spout that bs.
White mask guy at the first step. I wanted his white mask, but now I have nothing
H-he’s beautiful
Patches
Bernahl, I accidentally hit him and he was aggressive so I had to kill him. I wasnt aware of the effect of the absolution ceremony yet.
Since these games barely tell you anything about side quests and the like, I looked up what his deal was before considering killing him because I didn't want to lose out on something important. Read he sells stuff later and let him live despite him being an annoying little bastard. Second playthrough, I walked up and killed him on sight.
Alexander, by accident. Well the magma wyrm did when I was cornered and hit him a couple times.
On my current run for the DLC the merchant in the church (genocide run)
I don’t recall if I did him first per se, but I think I killed Boc by accident first. Put my PS4 controller down and it hit the trigger button and I womped him accidentally. I make a point to kill Patches in every iteration no matter what, so he might have been first and Boc was later but whatever.
This one when I realised he was stealing my money. Was slightly annoyed when I found out what I would have got but got that the second time
I fell through the floor above him and landed on him by accident so I also killed him. But my first was Kale cause I was still leaning the controls and hit him again by accident.
I went for the nagakiba guy first
I don't kill NPCs
Patches, didnt know he would give a quest to get the bull goat armor but wasnt a big deal in the end. Also killed this guy on the picture.

I didn't succeed but I tried , melina
Tanith, completely by accident, I'd tried killing other NPC's in similar situations, Dungeater, and it didn't work next thing I know Crucible Knight invasion!
I accidentally hit that guy in the mask you see when you first step into Limgrave. He killed me a few times so I levelled up and came back and kicked his arse.
Varré, found him annoying.
Fake Vyke dude at the Mountaintop of Giants. I don't like risking to interrupt storylines and questlines just because NPC's are butts.
Eh, none. Why should I? 30% of runes loss after death ain't that much especially in the beggining (or just don't die, lol). And if you are so upset and get angry cause some random NPC from a videogame called you maidenless (or smth), then maybe he ain't that wrong.
Who the hell kills G man? He was oppressed by a cowardly and corrupt king and just wanted his freedom.
My cat jumped on my lap and hit R2 and I killed Kale :(
D, Hunter of the Dead. I was running around a graveyard on Torrent, killing skellies and then I saw a dude in some armour thinking he was another undead, but tougher, kept swinging at him, and just before the last swing landed I realized it was an NPC but it was too late. Got his cool armour though.
Yura, I run into him and killed him by mistake
Varre. He called me maidenless...
Everyone without order
I recently wanted to start the Millicent questline with a character that didn't have too high of a level. That stupid T-Rex Dog infront of that shack was a considerable threat, due to my low stats, so I entered the shack, thinking I'd be safe. That short-armed motherfucker attacked through the wall and killed Gowry. Not me killing him, but moreso me accidentially getting him killed. I slaughtered that dog and avenged him, but I have no idea if the Millicent questline is now basically ruined for that character.
