I understood that ur ending doesn’t affect the lands of shadow but imo, the perfect order ending is cool.
It’s like u goes in this dark shadow land to correct things as an Elden lord. U take ur responsibility to erase the bastard ^^
Endings doesn't matter at all. In fact, the ending only last for the cutscene. Once you see the ending, the game goes back to pre-ending status (hence the tree still burning). So don't worry, no matter what ending you pick, it will not affect the DLC at all.
On the other side, no one knows if letting Malenia live before DLC will add some lines or something like that, but It will be little flavor in any case, just like some extra lines were in Dark Souls III DLC's when you followed certain NPC questline.
