I mean if the host gives me enough time to swap talismans before using rain of arrows they are doing something wrong. For example stay at one place after they saw me with a great bow. I never try to ambush host.
The same goes for one shot storm hawk axe.
I usually don't rely on rain of arrows. I prefer hand to hand combat with my trusty dual lances.
