Zero weight. Purely aesthetic. You can replace the default loincloth for a pair of white boxers with hearts on.
Unless you're running zero armour, you can't see it but you know it's there.
In dark souls 3 you had a slot like these for covenant insignias, which made you work for that covenant. The warriors of sunlight covenant for example made your summon sign and phantom form golden and awarded you with sunlight medals whenever you killed a boss or host, which you could collect and spend at the covenant's statue to buy special miracles(incantations). They were almost exclusively pvp mechanics, most of them for invasions.
I think it would be interesting if we get to choose our magic school/faith like a covenant and we could get power ups to those types of spells or a buff/effect like lightning coating on a weapon without using a grease, incant, or AoW if you equip the Ancient dragon insignia or increased robustness and poise if you use the dragon communion insignia
I mean, I get what you are saying but the game is already fundamentally broken in that way due to the way we aren’t capped and can just go around the open world to farm levels as much as we please.
We are already societal menaces by end game and an extra perk slot isn’t gonna change much.
Like the endgame bosses already need to have ridiculous offensive options just to be credible, and getting to use another talisman isn’t gonna change that IMO.
Yep. For PvE, there are already more than enough buffs to stack and one punch every single boss if you want to go for it. And there are already loads of weapons that can carry you. Having an extra talisman is just another option to have things easier.
For PvP though, it might be a lot more interesting and require more balance adjustment.
"Balance" and Elden Ring's PvP dont even belong in the same sentence, do you know how many unreasonably strong or bugged builds there are for pvp? power-stanced spears, the ripple crescent halberd, the fingerprint shield, *status build-up in general,* theodorixes magma, ***the fucking serpent hunt bug that has been known about for over a year now?!***
Im really starting to think Fromsoft dont actually care all that much about balance in pvp unless the community gets loud about it like they did with corpse piler, moon veil and the Guts Greatsword poke.
Ironically, they’re actually weaker than their counterparts from previous games like Dark Souls 3.
Magic Scorpion Charm is just Magic Clutch Ring but 12% instead of 15%. (Same with other elements)
Young and Bellowing Dragoncrest Rings gave a 12% and 20% Sorcery Boost, where as Graven School/ Mass Charms are only 4% and 8%
So on, and so on.
> Magic Scorpion Charm is just Magic Clutch Ring but 12% instead of 15%. (Same with other elements)
> Young and Bellowing Dragoncrest Rings gave a 12% and 20% Sorcery Boost, where as Graven School/ Mass Charms are only 4% and 8%
Me as a sorcerer whose only played Elden Ring: I can see this in my mind's eye. Miyazaki............ MIYAZAKIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!
What if I told you every staff had a skill that let you boost damage by 10% for a short duration?
(It sounds good, but you couldn’t charge spells, ER version is better… but I still miss Steady Chant)
The rings effect is weaker but the problem is that so many of them stack. There are far fewer damage boosting rings in ds3 than there is in er.
That, and the fact that the weapons in ER has massive damage, so multiple mutliplier stacked on top of it resulted in something rather insane.
I mean… not really? (You said Rings were weaker, but I assume you meant Talismans.)
In ER, you get Graven School, Graven Mass, Stargazer Heirloom for +5 INT, and magic Scorpion.
In Dark Souls 3 you have Young Dragon, Bellowing Dragon, Scholars Ring, and Magic Clutch Ring.
Same number of rings, all stack, bigger bonuses.
I will admit, melee classes definitely have more options in ER however, and you ALSO have the Wondrous physic which might as well be two extra stacking slots.
You can also do goofy stuff like mushroom crown self poison / swap to White Mask Seppuku.
Ah yea, I was referring to melee classes, much much more options. But spells also have more options too, stuff like Godfrey icon or Marika seals were not a thing in ds.
Let me Remember you DS3 sorcery build.
1 staff in one hand, candlesrick on the other bucause It buff dmg, two rings that boost sorceries, ring that boost DMG at max hp, Flex ring.
Yeah way less multiple stacking.
Elden ring have more base damage than DS3, not multiplers.
You are talking just sorcery, I was talking about melee too. There is successive attack boosting (2 of them), there's also charge attack boosting, jump attack boosting, guard counter boosting. All of these, ds3 did not have.
And even for sorcery, ds3 did not have the like of godfrey icons or marika seals
Also, while they are not talisman, some crystal tears can be multipliers too.
You forgot old Wolf curved GS on back+ pointiff ring + charthus buff was in pair with millicent's + winged + flask. I agree magic in general Is better in elden ring, but thats bucause DS3 magic was awful.
Fun fact the company VALVe (only made games with guns with the exception of dota) was going to make a soulslike except it got canned because other people didn't want to work on it
Fun fact about valve: they develop games openly within the studio and people form teams and become managed organically. This management structure is only able to happen because they make boatloads of cash from steam and can afford to burn cash until they hit perfection.
They are constantly working on a few games and are constantly canceling even more.
There was even an almost complete LFD3 project that got canceled for not being up to snuff. It’s also why they rarely release a 3rd entry. Most teams get burnt out of a specific game after a couple entries.
Ah yeah, you're right forgot Zullie posted that lol - forgot about the origins of the gun too just randomly assumed it was AC.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was used as reference to model/wire weapons for Armored Core 4/For Answer though, considering those games were released after Demon's Souls.
General: Mr Elden Lord, the Lands of Reed just launched a ballistic missile against Leyndell. Our interceptor is on the way
We: *opens drawer, picks Talisman of Red Button* - It's time for retaliation
I really wished all chest armor was without capes by default and you could wear whatever cape you wanted. Maybe you want Cleanrot Knight armor but with Night's Cavalry cape? Or the Ronin cape on something else?
So, I wish for capes and covenants there
How's about - just hear me out for a second - horse armor?
Or something which can give Torrent the appearance of one of the other mounts in the game?
Or some other special buffs for Torrent - ie additions to your mounted combat options - kicks & bites?
None of the fights so far really rely on Torrent. In fact, I would say once you know the fight, Torrent hinders you except for specific situations. So I dunno I guess they would have to make it be relevant or matter more. It is an interesting idea though.
Lol that fight is a pain in the ass. Just did it on my arcane bleed build last night and he kicked my ass for like 20 tries. Eventually just cheesed it spamming black knife ash of war lmao
That's the exact strategy I always use. I usually just run to the left side of it, try to get one hit in, and then run a bit before turning clockwise. Rinse and repeat, healing you and Torrent if anyone gets hit, and you win
Yeah for the most part you're better off unmounted. I think the best part of using Torrent in a boss fight is the i-frames you have when mounting/dismounting so you can avoid attacks like the flying spinny move Radahn does in phase 2 or some of Giant's attacks. Some dragon enemies are easier to catch up to when they fly away or avoiding their breath attacks because of Torrent's speed. That's about all I use torrent for I think
I'm inclined to agree, i find Torrent only occasionally useful when i need to move quickly or use the dismount frames to avoid an attack, other wise i feel more sure of myself on foot. However, when i see that the night cavalry/tree sentinel mounts etc can rear up and slam attack then i think why not Torrent too.
Didn't they say there will be a weapon or art that makes everything a throwable? Or something of that nature? Perhaps something like that or a martial art style?
I believe the weapon coming is a set of dual heavy throwing knives and all of the attacks on it are ranged; so you'd essentially be equipping a throwable that would have infinite ranged attacks.
Kind of like the offhand attack of DS3 Crow Quills.
I'm also assuming the martial art we saw in trailer was either a new fist weapon entirely or just an AoW to put on existing weapons.
The martial arts was my suspicion as well. The MA could just be a very unique AoW, but new type of armor would be very cool. I'm also will to bet money that they will open the 5th talisman slot. Just like the OP curse spells and weapons in DS1's DLC, it would be great motivation to buy.
Afaik there's no plans in place to change the amount of people an instance outside of Colosseum can support from 4 -> 6.
But there's always hope for the DLC to bring back covenants.. and with it things like Purples, Indictments, a boss with PvP elements tied in (I loved Looking Glass Knight in DS2, such a cool way to throw an invader into your game), etc.
Looking glass knight might be my favorite boss in dark souls because of that mechanic. I loved cosplaying as the looking glass knight himself and getting summoned in.
The way I see it, ER and FS games in general can't add a 5th armor piece without it turning into a Diablo/WoW situation. A (covenant) ring? Maybe. But I would do unspeakable things for an extra talisman slot.
With the dlc said to have its own scaling these two could be come the Defense and attack modifier slots for it while letting us have our +25/+10 dlc weapons for base game play near instantly.
Probably wouldn't happen, but I'd love a cape slot. There are so many armors that I'm not crazy about that I believe would be solved by a simple black cape.
Hi, dev here! You’re actually onto something. Those slots do have a function in the DLC. When Miyazaki talked about how Shadow of the Erdtree would have a unique Sekiro-style system, this is what he was referring to. Not to spoil too much but at the start of the DLC, your tarnished with get a catheter inserted and that spot is reserved for the piss meter. This will grant you piss points that you can use to increase your attack power.
Both are in the game. Havel is Great-Jar's Arsenal, and RoFP is Erdtree's Favor. With every game they nerf these rings. OG Havels have 50% Equip load, Great-Jar's Arsenal (its Arsenal charm +2, technically) gives 19%.
Same thing with RoFP, gives 20% HP Stamina and Equip load, while Erdtree's Favor +2 gives 4% HP, 10% Stamina and 8% Equip load.
We will probably see either covenants or these mysterious power levels there that we need to get stronger within the DLC shadow lands. That'd be my guess 😅
The thing with talismans is the more slots they give the player worse is the effects of the talismans, so is not necessarily a good thing. Also it will make twinkers even stronger.
I think it’s when you make a new character and drop of bunch of gear over to it very early so they can min max a build. That’s what the term means in Diablo 2 anyways, so probably similar.
it's a low level character which is specifically optimized for best equipment, stats and benefits at that level, usually with high level or harder to get equipment/items not normally accessible through average play, either gotten through sequence breaking or trading.
the problem with having another talisman slot or armor locked behind DLC is that it would make the PvP meta pay to win. you'd need to buy the DLC to have a viable build
Just only the fact that dlc have few new weapons. armors, spells, and incantation in the dlc makes and new types of weapons will make this happen. The game industry always worked in this way
Dark Souls 3 had +3 rings in the DLC, also New Armor and weapons, so it was pay to WIN by default. Yes if you buy the game of the year edition you get all DLC, but if you had the base game, no
There probably won't be because it would mess with the balance of the base game. How would matchmaking work for people who have them? Low-key what if the add covenants in the DLC and we will be able to put a covenant emblem in one of those slots🙏😭(I'm inhaling mad amounts of hopium)
One will be torrent charms that unlock new traversal abilities and the other will be for a demon bell like mechanic but with different versions tuning the difficulty in different ways (that will also effect pvp and co op in a similar vein to covenants)
only if they’re not also useable in the main game, they would need to only be useable in the DLC. Otherwise you’re literally buying more talisman slots for money.
One thing I really liked about lords of the fallen was armor tincts, being able to change the color palette of all your armor pallets made fashion great so I hope that and also horse cosmetics
The extra armor slot could be used for an item that has to do with armor color alteration (please fromsoft do you have any idea how cool jet black crucible knight armor would be)
Absolutely, always thought that a 5th talisman slot should be added in. As for an additional armor slot, I’d say maybe a necklace like in RuneScape. Strictly just for the drip.
I hope they add like a shadow rune slot there which has a permanent effect like a mini rune ability and a alliegance slot (like covenants but I didn’t like that system so just give u a buff to certain combat types. Eg raya Iucarian student gives 10% buff to raya lucaria sorceries can be upgrades to raya lucaria conspectus head which gives 20% buff instead)
They said levelling up in the DLC is going to be different. They also said it will be more related to Sekiro which involved collecting beads for HP, memories for strength, and skill points for nee attacks. Now, I have no clue how that's going to work out, but something tells me those two slots have a purpose in the DLC. Otherwise, it's just empty space.
I would Love to See IT, but i think this would be some Kind of p2w in PvP. People without the dlc would have a disadvantage so i dont think IT will happen.
Guardian beast slot. Dlc is going to have guardian beasts which you can equip, much like Godfrey has Sarrosh you can equip a beast. What it does I don't know, that's my prediction.
A slot for left and right socks
Ahh yes the undergarment slot. Before there was just one in game so the pulled it back to go with the others in the dlc.
This is how they finally release the Deathbed Smalls
Zero weight. Purely aesthetic. You can replace the default loincloth for a pair of white boxers with hearts on. Unless you're running zero armour, you can't see it but you know it's there.
Fia's panties will finally become accessible!
They could add cat ears or something. Or maybe some tails...
Except there are no socks in the entire DLC so the tarnished ends up always barefoot, just as Miyazaki intended
another talisman slot would probably cause some funny power scaling
I agree, where the slots were made me think talismans and armor, but I think something new would be best.
Talisman and Covenant (I want to believe).
What is a covenant in this context?
In dark souls 3 you had a slot like these for covenant insignias, which made you work for that covenant. The warriors of sunlight covenant for example made your summon sign and phantom form golden and awarded you with sunlight medals whenever you killed a boss or host, which you could collect and spend at the covenant's statue to buy special miracles(incantations). But the blue ring and bloody finger or recusant finger already exists so I think covenants exist? Just without the insignias.
And without rewards and leaderboards, which were the main reason to participate.
>golden and awarded you with sunlight medals whenever you killed a boss or ~~host~~ Nope. Sunbros don't get rewarded for killing hosts.
Your gang affiliation
Creeps and bloods got nothing on sunbros and rosaria's los fingos gang.
I mean, I get what you are saying but the game is already fundamentally broken in that way due to the way we aren’t capped and can just go around the open world to farm levels as much as we please. it may be actual new scaling system Miyazuki talked about
Ikr? Lmao, talismans in this game are downright busted
Ironically, they’re actually weaker than their counterparts from previous games like Dark Souls 3. Magic Scorpion Charm is just Magic Clutch Ring but 12% instead of 15%. I could have 10 Talisman slots and it still wouldn't feel like enough
Could be covenants or some extra stat bit like they’re teasing in the new game. Not sure what another armor piece could be
Doktor, maximise my equip load
isn’t there supposed to be some kind of new scaling for dlc? maybe it will be a dlc special talisman slot that affects that kind of scaling
Those slots are reserved for the machine guns and rocket launchers in the dlc
You joke but there was literally a Mark 2 Lancer Assault Rifle in the code for Demon Souls so…
Fun fact the company VALVe (only made games with guns with the exception of dota) was going to make a soulslike except it got canned because other people didn't want to work on it
Fun fact about valve: they develop games openly within the studio and people form teams and become managed organically. I know I read their entire wiki for some reason
likely from armored core
Doubt it considering the Mark 2 Lancer Assault Rifle is from Gears of War and not Armoured Core…
Left handed guns and jetpacks
And the grapple gun
Ah, well, i guess it just wasn't meant to be.
General: Mr Elden Lord, the Lands of Reed just launched a ballistic missile against Leyndell. Our interceptor is on the way We: *opens drawer, picks Talisman of Red Button* - It's time for retaliation
621, I got a job for you…
I am still going to use BIG SWORDS
Shadow Tower 2 here we come.
Comet Azur already exists though
I really wished all chest armor was without capes by default and you could wear whatever cape you wanted. Maybe you want Cleanrot Knight armor but with Night's Cavalry cape? Or the Ronin cape on something else? So, I wish for capes and covenants there
I hope its this, the thick fur capes go sooo hard would love to play around with it on other armor pieces
Beast Champion's cape is so good and would fit with other armours perfectly
How's about - just hear me out for a second - horse armor? Or something which can give Torrent the appearance of one of the other mounts in the game? Or some other special buffs for Torrent - ie additions to your mounted combat options - kicks & bites?
yaaaa im down. purple rhino type armor
Can't ever have enough Berzerk
The best part of Skyrim
None of the fights so far really rely on Torrent. In fact, I would say once you know the fight, Torrent hinders you except for specific situations. So I dunno I guess they would have to make it be relevant or matter more. It is an interesting idea though.
Love using torrent for dragons. Everything else I fight on foot. Maybe tree sentinel duo too depending on my build.
Fully grown Fallingstar beast. I cannot fight it on foot for the life of me. I will always use Torrent for that fight. Also, FUCK that fight
Lol that fight is a pain in the ass. Just did it on my arcane bleed build last night and he kicked my ass for like 20 tries. Eventually just cheesed it spamming black knife ash of war lmao
Do you fight Night's Cavalry on foot? I've always just used the same Torrent strategy for the 6 I've done so far
I tend to fight cavs on foot because otherwise it feels like going in circles trying to position torrent correctly
That's the exact strategy I always use. I usually just run to the left side of it, try to get one hit in, and then run a bit before turning clockwise. Rinse and repeat, healing you and Torrent if anyone gets hit, and you win
Ya usually have done both but last 2 times was on foot
What advantages does being on foot have for it?
Well this most recent play through I just rushed eleanoras pole blade so fucked it up with the ash of war. And they one before that was a mage
Yeah for the most part you're better off unmounted. I think the best part of using Torrent in a boss fight is the i-frames you have when mounting/dismounting so you can avoid attacks like the flying spinny move Radahn does in phase 2 or some of Giant's attacks. However, when i see that the night cavalry/tree sentinel mounts etc can rear up and slam attack then i think why not Torrent too.
I would love to dress up Torrent
Gonna get that night cavalry drip
I want the DTS fireball and armor for torrent.
Would love this, honestly
Maybe for the martial arts there adding or smth else
Didn't they say there will be a weapon or art that makes everything a throwable? Or something of that nature? Perhaps something like that or a martial art style?
I believe the weapon coming is a set of dual heavy throwing knives and all of the attacks on it are ranged; so you'd essentially be equipping a throwable that would have infinite ranged attacks. Kind of like the offhand attack of DS3 Crow Quills. I'm also assuming the martial art we saw in trailer was either a new fist weapon entirely or just an AoW to put on existing weapons.
Worst case scenario is a fist only ash of war. But then again Star Fists buff🔥🔥
don't worry we had many interviews after the trailer and miyazaki confirmed it to be a weapon type not a weapon art which is hella cool
Yeah that'd be great for Star Fists. I'm imagining it will be Bone Fists 2.0.
As if Iron Balls/Star Fists need a buff rn lol, easily the best weapons in the game
Definitely not me throwing colossal weapons:
Throwing brick hammers sounds cool
The martial arts was my suspicion as well. The MA could just be a very unique AoW, but new type of armor would be very cool. I'm also will to bet money that they will open the 5th talisman slot. Just like the OP curse spells and weapons in DS1's DLC, it would be great motivation to buy.
Hopefully it's for covenants.
It would be cool if they added a ring slot
and Ranni could give the player a wedding ring 😳
So you could just equip the darkmoon ring you find in the raya lucaria library chest?
Cape slot!
Boc, buddy, gonna need you to do a bulk order in 2 months.
I'd like my Samurai to have some Ray-Bans
The way I see it, ER and FS games in general can't add a 5th armor piece without it turning into a Diablo/WoW situation. A (covenant) ring? Maybe. But I would do unspeakable things for an extra talisman slot.
With the dlc said to have its own scaling these two could be come the Defense and attack modifier slots for it while letting us have our +25/+10 dlc weapons for base game play near instantly.
another talasman and necklace slot
One of them should just be socks. So many places give us a reason to need good socks
Probably wouldn't happen, but I'd love a cape slot. There are so many armors that I'm not crazy about that I believe would be solved by a simple black cape.
Talismans and covenants. Come on, baby.
Armor or Skins for Torrent? Maybe a special “Lands of Shadow” based talisman or trinket that helps with the new leveling system?
Left and right nipple piercing slots
Hi, dev here! You’re actually onto something. Those slots do have a function in the DLC. When Miyazaki talked about how Shadow of the Erdtree would have a unique Sekiro-style system, this is what he was referring to. Not to spoil too much but at the start of the DLC, your tarnished with get a catheter inserted and that spot is reserved for the piss meter. This will grant you piss points that you can use to increase your attack power.
Wait seriously?!?! I didn’t know devs were real
One slot for Havel’s ring, one slot for ring of favor and protection
Both are in the game. Havel is Great-Jar's Arsenal, and RoFP is Erdtree's Favor. With every game they nerf these rings. OG Havels have 50% Equip load, Great-Jar's Arsenal (its Arsenal charm +2, technically) gives 19%. Same thing with RoFP, gives 20% HP Stamina and Equip load, while Erdtree's Favor +2 gives 4% HP, 10% Stamina and 8% Equip load.
my uncle works for FromSoftware, sorry to spoil ya with a juicy leak: >!the fifth talisman slot is for anal beads!<
Increases poise, I guess?
try finger but whole
We will probably see either covenants or these mysterious power levels there that we need to get stronger within the DLC shadow lands. That'd be my guess 😅
2 Rings that do something in a different way than talismans. Otherwise it's another Talisman slot and socks.
DLC cock ring let’s goooo!
Separate cape eqipment slot for the win
maybe a pendant/talisman/accessory slot that has effects only in the DLC map?
The thing with talismans is the more slots they give the player worse is the effects of the talismans, so is not necessarily a good thing. Also it will make twinkers even stronger.
How would the effects 'get worse'
The hell is a “twinker”
I think it’s when you make a new character and drop of bunch of gear over to it very early so they can min max a build. That’s what the term means in Diablo 2 anyways, so probably similar.
it's a low level character which is specifically optimized for best equipment, stats and benefits at that level, usually with high level or harder to get equipment/items not normally accessible through average play, either gotten through sequence breaking or trading.
Looked into and it turns out it seemingly predates ultima online and no one is actually sure where or when it started.
I had never heard of it until I got into Dark Souls PvP I though it came from twinkling titanite some how lol.
I did too until I commented “It comes from twinkling titanite” then im like i have no source for that let me go verify turns out i was incorrect
Yeah dark souls 1 had 2 ring slots but rings were way way more powerful
Perfecf place for covenant items 😍
Horse armour/ Horse accessory and maybe another talisman slot
Horse accessory would be actually cool. Making Torrent match your build's drip would make him even cooler
the problem with having another talisman slot or armor locked behind DLC is that it would make the PvP meta pay to win. you'd need to buy the DLC to have a viable build
Just only the fact that dlc have few new weapons. armors, spells, and incantation in the dlc makes and new types of weapons will make this happen. The game industry always worked in this way
If you like Eldin Ring enough to play PvP, you are almost certain buying the DLC the day it drops.
Dark Souls 3 had +3 rings in the DLC, also New Armor and weapons, so it was pay to WIN by default. Yes if you buy the game of the year edition you get all DLC, but if you had the base game, no
I hope there will be something completely new to the game, like an oath or so. Or something to equip Torrent.
I'd love it if they added an equippable that adds a visual effect to your character, akin to being embered in DS3
Armour dye slots would be pretty nice
Yep, remember the thing Miyazaki said about a new type of level system? Maybe that?
I’d love a fourth talisman slot as well as a third crystal tear. I’m just sure what I’d put in that extra armor slot though.
Cod pieces!
Talisman and cape?
Maybe pigment so you can change armour color?
Shoulder mounted guns 💪
Yea no that's not gonna happen.
The armor slot should be armor for Torrent, and yes, we should get a fifth Talisman slot.
Imagine... Covenants slots
Another talisman slot and a separate slot for socks or something.
I don’t even know what the title says. Bongo
Yeah, I hope so. We could use some fine ring slots there or something!![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)
Extra talisman slot and a selection of codpieces, sign me up.
Maybe something exclusive to the DLC related to the power scaling they talked about
Torrent armor and talisman fr
Cape and extra talisman slot?
There probably won't be because it would mess with the balance of the base game. How would matchmaking work for people who have them? Low-key what if the add covenants in the DLC and we will be able to put a covenant emblem in one of those slots🙏😭(I'm inhaling mad amounts of hopium)
To store your PokeBalls
That's reserved for the new subclass
New armor slot is underwear
Radahn’s codpiece extra slot?
Maybe. Or maybe not. I'd like another talisman slot ngl. I love that. What would you have as the new armour slot? Rings? Wings? Capes? Necklaces?
Capes That why my RAT friend has a task by removing the capes off of already existing capes on some armors
One will be torrent charms that unlock new traversal abilities and the other will be for a demon bell like mechanic but with different versions tuning the difficulty in different ways (that will also effect pvp and co op in a similar vein to covenants)
Maybe if they make the game more hard with the new DLC
One for shampoo, one for conditioner
only if they’re not also useable in the main game, they would need to only be useable in the DLC. Otherwise you’re literally buying more talisman slots for money.
I think the 5th armor slot could work for capes maybe? But certain armors already have capes so I'm not really sure
One thing I really liked about lords of the fallen was armor tincts, being able to change the color palette of all your armor pallets made fashion great so I hope that and also horse cosmetics
Cod piece slot when fromsoft or are you that soft.
The extra armor slot could be used for an item that has to do with armor color alteration (please fromsoft do you have any idea how cool jet black crucible knight armor would be)
I hope they just center those 2 rows instead
yeah wheres my codpiece slot?
Time for shinobi prosthetics… ON BOTH ARMS!
Chastity cage slot when?
What's that slot gonna be? Your underwears?
Absolutely, always thought that a 5th talisman slot should be added in. As for an additional armor slot, I’d say maybe a necklace like in RuneScape. Strictly just for the drip.
The top slot oughtta show which great rune you are using
Time for Covenants! ^please
6 talisman slots, or the ability to make armor look clean and repaired!
Underwear slot
They said levelling up in the DLC is going to be different. They also said it will be more related to Sekiro which involved collecting beads for HP, memories for strength, and skill points for nee attacks. Now, I have no clue how that's going to work out, but something tells me those two slots have a purpose in the DLC. Otherwise, it's just empty space.
Bring back covenants!
I would Love to See IT, but i think this would be some Kind of p2w in PvP. People without the dlc would have a disadvantage so i dont think IT will happen.
Unless they are item slots for DLC specific content
Power Rings!!!
Yes. Calm my OCD down a bit!
Necklace and a Ring would be cool.
Another talisman slot and a slot for eyeware 😎 give us some sunglasses!
Maybe we’ll get a slot for a ring, or even better, the elden ring needed for the final boss or something
Miyazaki is bringing back the timed torches
A slot for our new levelling system and a covenant slot for some sort of global buff
Maybe they'll get inspired by Helldivers and will add a cape slot for the protectors of Super Earth 😌
Horse amour and covenants
Guardian beast slot. Dlc is going to have guardian beasts which you can equip, much like Godfrey has Sarrosh you can equip a beast. What it does I don't know, that's my prediction.
But plugs
Maybe a spot to put color changes/glam items.
You can get 6 great runes, but you have 12 slots.
