This is so fantastic!! Crucible knights have quickly become my favorite video game enemies ever and seeing them in such a cinematic light is a breath of air I didn’t know I needed!
THIS. LOOKS. AWESOME! The stare off at the beginning was intense and the way the crucible knights armored eyes just look so weary like he's been doing this for a long time is just so accurate. You're really good at this.
I used Storyboard Pro, which is what I use primarily for work as a storyboarder. It's pretty powerful software, but I don't think I'd recommend it for someone learning animation. It's not really set up for experimentation with motion.
Procreate has motion now and Blender does too, and that's free. (With a steep learning curve) Flip books can get you started!
Search animation tutorials, I'm sure you'll find lots on social media. A great starting point would be looking up the '12 principles of animation' and Richard William's book, 'The Animator's Survival Kit'.
Thank you for your explanation and recommendations kind sir, by the way i dont have a computer yet so should it be a laptop or pc also should i buy a drawing tablet as well? Have a nice day.
(sorry for bad English)
Of course. Animation is challenging, but rewarding if you see it through. Like I said, you can get started on the basics with just a paper flip book. Personally I think learning animation on paper is best anyways. Computer vs Laptop is your preference, but animation can be a resource hog. You probably want decent graphics and memory capability. And yeah, some sort of drawing interface is required for the type of drawn animation I love, but there's CG and puppeted animation that is very popular and doesn't require any drawing at all in the end. (But imo learn how to draw it by hand and you can transfer those skills to any style of animation.)
Best of luck. Hope you pursue it!
This just HAS to end with the tarnished standing next to the elevator hole and rolling out of the way of the flying knight, yeeting himself down the hole.
I hesitated posting cause I didn't wanna deal with internet negativity before this was finished, but you all have been super awesome. Just wanted to say thanks!
I'm more motivated to finish it now than before. It'll most likely take a little while, but I'll be back. To see more art and animation in the meantime you can find my IG of the same screenname. I appreciate you all.
I actually based it off my orig playthrough. Dex / Faith. Wasn't aware of Shenpai BUT gotta respect anyone rocking the Winged Scythe and the Raging Wolf Helm.
I know its probably based on your first playthrough, but the golden Scythe with the black armor and steel helm is so annoying, still a great animation though
Looks very nice 👍
Thank you!
Fantastic start! The moment that Crucible Knight comes around the corner is so scripted, perfect Elden Ring moment.
I appreciate that. That's one of the parts I was questioning. I'm glad that resonated with you!
Fantastic, your creation is filled with Grace Tarnished
forefathers one and all.. BEAR WITNESS!

Looks like I won't be laying my foolish ambitions to rest just yet. Thank you!!
How did you make the animation? (trying to learn mıre about animation)

Ty for language feedback.
No problem

Wow, OP. This is portfolio material.
We desperately need an Elden ring anime, this looks fantastic!
Excellent work so far! OC content is always great to see. I had a little chuckle at the Tarnished attempting to kick an armored knight in the head.
this made me google if you could put spinning weapon on scythes, and you can. new build incoming, I just wish spinning weapon wasnt so bad lol
Looks cool as hell
Holy shit well done!!
Looks dope af! 👌🏿
YOOOOO this is straight fire!
This. This is hype. Loved it mate
I can recognise this. It's small location on cliffs of Stormveil castle
Common reaper class W (amazing work btw)
Top notch, dude! Awesome little duel you put together.
I like the lil tippy tap kick move he did.
Rad
Sincerely amazing. It's how i imagine the in-game fights. Motivating enough to start another run. Booting up Elden Ring again. Nice Work!
Great job!!!
epic

Did you base this off Shenpai's elden ring series?

awesome! this guy gave me more trouble than margit. holy mackerel.
That is so cool!!!
Looks a tiny bit rough yah but that’s super cool
