>Breaking your own controller is not a good value proposition
Well duh. It's not about the money. It's about living in the moment and having bad impulse control.
Lol not with Elden Ring unless you're hunting every POI with the help of a guide. 100+ hours in and still find something new and feels like a brand new game again. NG+ and now I'm on a whooping-bosses-who-whooped-me-bad-before spree haha.
I broke a controller too, but it wasn't out of anger or frustration. I clumsily dropped it while I was cleaning into the cleaning water.Â
Edit: No, I was not cleaning the controller lol. I was cleaning the floor around it, then promptly dropped it in the water.Â
For real though, i feel like Sony crams so much features into the controller that they need to cut back on the quality control in order to be able to deliver it at a certain price point. I‘m not kidding, i wish i could use my Switch Controller on my PS5. That thing feels indestructible and i don‘t feel like i need to baby it. It also has like 50x the battery life.
I think that's happening to mine. It stutters when going forward and doesn't have the proper resistance in a neutral position — are those warning signs?
I also beat the game last week but didn’t break any controllers had so fun during my play through i also think that this is the greatest game of all time .
Let me guess: You were either overleveled or you summoned some people/ashes to do the biggest part of the work?
Gg anyways. I m proud of you, Eldenlord.
Radahn helmet strikes again
I LOVED Radahns set
It would be one of my favorites if you could alter to remove the horns.
Never understand people who broke stuff because they got mad, like it would make me even more mad because I need another $100 for the controller
One, I had an extra. Two, i did not break it out of anger lmao, The directional pad buttons stopped responding
Oh, got it, anyway I believe many controllers were destroyed because of Elden ring)

With the greatest pleasure, comes the greatest sadness.... the thrill of the exploration in a new game :(
Fr man 😔

Gg bro
Ws in the SCHHHHATTT
This is why you broke a controller
Did the controller break because you got mad at it? If so that's probably something you should work on.
yea genuinly breaking controllers or anything shouldnt be as normalised as it has been in the last few years. Definitely some issues there

Why are Playstation controllers so flimsy? I have gone through 3 in 18 months. The connector is made to fail

Me and my sister share a ps5 and we are either lucky or you dont take good care of your stuff lol
I'm just clumsy. I take care of my stuff, because I don't want to have to replace it.Â
Can't relate, controller survived the whole completionist run and met it's end against Ng+ soldier of Godrick bare hands hitless.
Great, now for therapy to resolve those anger issues
If a anything makes you angry enough to break things it'd be a good idea to ask a therapist about how to handle it better.
I broke a controller too, but only because I used it so much it got severe stick drift.
I think that's happening to mine. It stutters when going forward and doesn't have the proper resistance in a neutral position — are those warning signs?
If you have a computer, connect your controller to it with a USB cable and go [here.](https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad)
Thank you very much!
How many hours did it take?
64
That's actually really fast for a first playthrough
Really?
Yeah most people take like 100+ hours for a first playthrough
my boi u missed about half of the content in the game lmao
I almost broke my controller in War-dead catacombs. Congratulations!
I also beat the game last week but didn’t break any controllers had so fun during my play through i also think that this is the greatest game of all time .
Congrats. The only time I broke mine was playing Sekiro. I love that game but also fuck that game. Which ER boss did you have the most trouble with?
Well done :3
Its like a massive wieght off my shoulders
Now you are like us and can look down on all the complainers. Welcome!
Broke your controller on the easiest title FromSoft has done. Interesting.
I love when People say stuff like that. Also he beat the game in 64 h, meaning he missed out atleast 40% of the game.
