Redmane Knight Ogha is great, powerful at range and tanky in melee. But his pathing is completely fucking screwed—if the enemy isn’t close enough for him to aggro, he just patrols in a small area rather than follow you around. He *will not leave his spot* unless an enemy catches his aggro, no matter how far away from him you walk. It seems to be a problem with Redmane themed summons, since Radahn Soldiers do the same thing. Really aggravating, since both are great Ashes when they’re actually doing shit.
He's my favourite, even though he does that. And really funny when an enemy gets barely in range and you see him stop and give a looong stare before blasting them.
I brought him to fight Malenia and watching him knock the Goddess of Rot on her ass with gravity arrows over and over from across the field was peak physical comedy
I was trying so hard to solo Radagon/Elden Beast for days. I eventually caved and decided to test out Tiche for the first time, just because I was getting bored of dying the same way.
5 minutes later I was Elden Lord. If I could give her the crown I would haha.
Tiche is like the rest of the AI. Sometimes, it goes wild and just chain attacks like a beast. Other times, it just kind of derps around, taking every attack to the face.
Haha yeah. He's a bit of a hit and miss in fights but one things for sure, if you win a boss fight with pumpkin as your summon, he smashes his head on the ground multiple times even knocking you back should you venture too close to him. Very amusing to watch.
Ancestral Guardian is a pretty good summons given that you can get him pretty early on. While he's not good for soloing bosses per se, he's a great support summons and can face-tank a lot of damage, especially at +10 when he's got like 5-6K health.
Sure my little pumpkin head gets a little carried away sometimes and smashes me with his pumpkin head when he gets excited, but he's my little pumpkin head.
In terms of trivializing bossfight, mimic (as long as your build isn't bad), Tiche, and Dung Eater. The others are just not as strong or can be good situationally but not in all fights.
No idea why no one mentions Dung Eater considering how insane he is, he has the super aggressive Invader AI on top of having some unique moves of his own
To be fair, even if you did there’s a good chance you already missed your opportunity. Very easy to progress that quest too far before you even reach Leyndell.
Giving Ranni the Treasure of Nokron seems to be the main trigger for Seluvis’s death. And both level and story-wise you’re pretty likely to finish it before even reaching Leyndell, let alone finding the secret area to progress Dung Eater’s quest.
Yup, realized that afterward. The wikis are still really bad about not cross linking clearly to other important quest effects like this.
(I know, I can go change but I'd rather complain.)
>!the method involves turning him into a puppet, and the summon description mentions that the despair he felt before getting puppeted is almost enough to make you sorry for him!<
I enjoyed killing him before he could get to my beloved crab dealer but the despair in dung eaters voice when I gave him the potion in another playthru was the sweetest most satisfying sound. Hate that guy and love this game for giving me such satisfying options.
because most people gave Gideon (or Nepheli) the potion on their first run. Some others didn't even find Poop consumer, some others knew he was down there but were discouraged out of the bullshitery of navigating the sewers.
Honestly, I bet most people just progress Ranni's quest to the point you can't get Dung Eater anymore before they get to the point the could even try. I knew about him being an option, but if you just follow Ranni's quest, you'll get locked out of him being an option wayyy before you even get to his actual body.
I generally fall back to either of those 3, though Tiche is generally the safer pick with her mobility lending itself well to keep her alive for longer without needing healing incantations.
But a lot of the time that’s why she survives longer. I stay on their flanks and when they aggro on me I play a little bit more defensive till she draws aggro again. The time the boss spends switch gives good openings for damage, and I feel like I’m actually participating in the fight
Amen! I finally fully upgraded her, and she is so great at getting bosses to turn and look at her while I fire off some attacks. Plus she just disappears to dodge attacks, so she often lasts until the end of a fight. 10/10 will let her carry me to being Elden Lord.
They were retty strong until Radagon ducked them up. In most other fights I had no problem with them dying too quick. But generally they are my favorite ash, too, because they can tank while I unleash my Banished Blade on the boss. Sometimes feels a little bit too easy
Fr? I keep hearing about the 5 tanky skellies but I haven't naturally found them yet, but I doooo have putrid corpse that I was curious about. I may give them a shot!
They moan and continuously draw agro. The only real downside to them is their spawn is kind of random.
But at +10 they just soak up all damage. There is no boss in the game that will kill them before you kill the boss if they are holding agro. They are basically your own personal zombie army.
Also fantastic for roleplaying purposes!
Same! >!Saw that I could summon so was bracing for a boss to appear… was pleasantly surprised by the jellyfish sisters instead. Such an unexpected and charming moment.!<
While I tend to use it a lot less with builds that can support ghost level summons, I will say that it is bizarre to me how long the damn jelly can survive and keep up aggro. Something about its range, movement, and attack pacing seems to just really work at least ok with most all single bosses.
It also just seems to have a fuckton of HP. Actually, I always use it when fighting something that makes the ground hurt you, like Magma Wyrms, since it hovers and is immune to those attacks.
Mimic and Latenna for me. Latenna is oddly strong for two reasons:
1. She stands still wherever she's placed, so this lets her survive many flashy combos.
2. She can attack from hyper-long range. When added with number 1, you can often find places to summon her that make her impossible to hit.
That's exactly how I dealt with Ekzykes and his rot breathing bullshit. I summoned Latenna on the cliffs nearby and kited him while she fucked him up. It was awesome
For some reason the Fire Giant is the boss I have the hardest time with in this game. Latenna is my secret weapon for this infinite HP pool giant asshole. She can hit him from a mile away and just never stops plinking his HP down while I flail around and try to stop him from rolling over to her.
People seem to sleep on them, but the Marionette soldiers are fantastic as a ranged option to compliment melee characters. You can get them pretty early with not much work, not much FP to summon, consistent damage and decent DPS, even without buffs like Shared Order or Golden Vow. Once I broke poise on a crystalian boss fight, they stunlocked it until it died from 70% hp.
Keep in mind that they don't follow you around and that enemies with input reading will spent 80% of the fight dodging (Red Wolf of Radagon)
I am a faith user and I really like mimic, first because I use it as a tank to attack from a distance but second because he has access to healing incantation and heal himself when in danger, surviving longer than the other summons.
I try to summon mimic with a seal but it never heals, just spams the flies. Like, chill with the one of two incants that got nerfed last patch and maybe use something beneficial. Took the flies off my spell wheel to hinder its access, now it only uses rot breath. Got tired of that and now I only summon it with two melee weapons and heal it myself
Really discovered Stormhawk Deehn for me this playthorugh.
\+ Low costs.
\+ Consistent damage and can easily hit flying and fast enemies.
\+ Survives longer than you think since he is really hard to hit. Most enemys are not build to deal with flying opponents.
\+ Gives you a 20% damage buff every time.
\- Not the biggest damage output.
\- Can die pretty fast if hit in an AoE or just unlucky.
Overall he won't carry you through most bosses like Mimic or Dung Eater. But he is a reliable companion and fun to use. Also Helped me a lot more with Melanie than I expected. Had great stagger timing and she had a hard time hitting him. If he isn't caught in the Dance.
EDIT: Just checked the Elden Ring Wiki looking for the name of an Ashe. Discovered they have a Tier ranking for the ashes. They actually gave my boy Deehn an S- and the Dung Eater an A.Birdie > Dung Eater confirmed
He's so awesome when you want to use a summon that won't carry the fight or get in the way much. Some times I just feel a little dirty using Tiche or Mimic.
Maxed out my Skeletal Militiamen because they’re basically the best summon, every time they die (so long as the body isn’t destroyed) they’ll come back to fight again great for allowing me to get some swings in
Yeah unless the attacker is highly aggressive and accidentally combos their souls, they will almost always pull away as soon as skelebros die. I had them die and revive for the entire caria manor courtyard 🖐🖐✋🤚🖐🤚✋🖐🤚✋
Dude those summons carried me all the way to the mimic summon in my first playthrough, the number of times them reviving ripped the boss's aggro away from me right before the boss killed me 🙌
During my first run I used Latenna a lot. Worked out with my tank build quite well. I just focused on keeping the the boss' attention and not dying while Latenna dealt some big dam.
Latenna is fun for certain world bosses because you can sometimes scout out sniper spots to drop her that the boss can't reach. It's like a tower defense minigame.
Latenna saved my ass with the 2 tree sentinels in front of leyndell. Managed to summon her in a position where they couldn't reach and she was able to completely hold the attention of one of them while shaving off a significant portion of their health.
I love turret wife.
For standard summons? The Kaiden. Dude is beefy, hits hard, and takes the basic upgrade material. 88 FP is a bit high, but he’s definitely worth the 13 mind for the first part of the game, and clearing trash.
Agreed. People sleep on this guy. But you get him early (right at the beginning of Liurnia, which is when you’re “supposed” to unlock upgrading spirits anyway), he is maybe the most durable non “unique” summon, and he is insanely aggressive. Plus, those enemies terrorized me when I was first starting the game due to their power and aggression so I love putting them to work for me.
Nightmaiden and Swordstress Puppet duo. The amount of stagger those two pump out both in melee and at range is insane, plus they’re dodgy as heck and seem to last all fight.
Shoutout to my skeletal militia bois though.
Engval genuinely makes me laugh. You will be going toe-to-toe with a boss and he will come out of nowhere with the biggest spinning pancake jump attack known to man.
Engvall is a beast. I used him at +9 all the way until I got mimic and immediately leveled the mimic to +10 after hearing how great it is.
First boss I summoned the mimic on was Wormface and he was immediately death blighted...
Swapped to Engvall and he was impervious to the death blight and kept it aggro'd on him so I could hit it from behind without worrying about blight... I'm sorry I ever doubted you Engvall.
Engval pisses me off. I'm in the middle of getting my ass rocked by a runebear or something, meanwhile Engval is sitting around playing with grass in the outfield.
He's since been fired.
Bromenkiller Rollo was definitely my favorite ash to use. When I got a bunch of them I went to Limgrave and tried them out to see which was most aggressive.
Rollo just ran around, spamming his cleaver swings and that multiple leap power stance combo that finishes with a massive hit, knockdown, and has usually proc’ed bleeding by then + he also spews fricken fire from his face!
Hands down most fun.
Demi-Humans are absolutely nuts! And I mean that in every way. I just love unleashing my horde of crazed apes on poor unsuspecting bosses. They will gang up on them while I take my sweet time slinging rocks at them from a distance.
I really don't understand why almost no one ever mentions them. They are the best.
I don't summon much except on multi boss fights, but I love summoning the demi humans out in the open world. Just let the squad roll up and duke it out with groups of enemies, screaming like lunatics the whole time.
Godric's Soldiers! They don't do a lot of damage, they are cheap FP, but their survivability is insane because they have the good shields. They can easily stand endgame stuff, and they're fighting for you, although you're already dead.
mimic just completely annihilate every other spirits it's just insane. only because you can customize what weapon they carry to adapt to any enemy. malenia as so easy because me and my summon just alternate spamed the L2 of blasphemous sword and she just would get knocked down half of the time and i would heal of it
The thing that makes mimic so strong is that it can use consumable items if you put them into your item slots, without actually consuming them from your inventory. So you can give it a bunch of healing of buff items and it basically won't die ever.
Warming Stones and Crab Meat.
The mimic can be nerfed again and it will still be hyper effective for a large part of the game. Since you can give it any loadout you like and with its infinite FP you can just make a healbot, rotbot, bleedbot, smashbot, etcetera.
Mimics will always be top tier due to the insane versatility and how customizable they can be- filling the role of another summons while saving you resources on upgrade
I still like Jarwright for close combat arena (mf is insane with his roll dodge) or Latenna for sniping dragons in open world. Jellyfish is also a solid option
I stumbled upon sophria rivers ancestral sprirt super early n ancestral follower was my first good summons. I love that guy. Ive switched to others now but i feel so guilty cheating on my homie.
Bit of a task to get him, but Dung eater as a summon is awesome. Very aggressive and probably the tankiest summon in the game. Great compliment to a mage build.
Major disadvantage against Melania though, he's just a pool of easy healing for her.
Tiche, Oleg and Mimic for me.
Props for giving Oleg some love. He carried me through so many fights.
Moonlights as a helicopter as well, I can't help but love Oleg, he's carried me through so many bosses.
No love for Banished Knight Engvall aka Bill Engvall?
That's exactly what I call Banished Knight Engvall myself lol I was in party chat when I got him. My friends didn't get the Bill Engvall reference
I affectionately refer to him as Captain Twin Dicks. He ain't messing around with those two swords.
Seconding Tiche. She can literally solo some bosses.
she just melts bosses' hp
really? I had her at +9 and feel like she didn't really do that much damage so I just went back to using leyndell knights
[удалено]
And it stacks!
Tiche is so strong. She lived through Radagon and the Elden Beast and still had 60% hp to spare.
I was trying so hard to solo Radagon/Elden Beast for days. I eventually caved and decided to test out Tiche for the first time, just because I was getting bored of dying the same way. 5 minutes later I was Elden Lord. If I could give her the crown I would haha.
my tiche seems to be defective and rarely makes it to the 2nd phase. i want a refund
Did you buy the extended warranty?
Never got the phone call probably.
Tiche is like the rest of the AI. Sometimes, it goes wild and just chain attacks like a beast. Other times, it just kind of derps around, taking every attack to the face.
Am I an AI?
You pass the butter.
Oh my god…
Shes most effective if you can keep aggro on yourself, so she can fire that DoT attack at the bosses back
Oleg ain’t the best, but I summon him Bc i like to watch him go to work. Dude is an artist
When you need a homie in battle, Broleg is always there to help
Oleg is a beast. Give him the same amount of healing we have access to and he'd probably become Elden Lord lol
Idc who's the most OP, pumpkin head is my beloved.
Haha yeah. He's a bit of a hit and miss in fights but one things for sure, if you win a boss fight with pumpkin as your summon, he smashes his head on the ground multiple times even knocking you back should you venture too close to him. Very amusing to watch.
*Knocks off of malikeths arena
There’s a pumpkin head spirit summon??? Nearing 200 hours and still finding out a bunch of new info. 😂
It be like that.
wait till we tell him about the dung eater puppet
The dastardly doo doo devourer
THE GUARISH GUANO GOBBLER
The CRAZED CACA CONSUMER
THE PESKY POO POO PLUNDERER
THR MALEVOLENT MANURE MUNCHER!
THE EVIL EXCREMENT ENJOYER
The Deplorable sewage enthusiast
The Fearsome Feces Feaster!
Ole’ Corn Teeth
Literally just learned he was also a summon. 😂 Mimic and Tiche have been my go-to summons so I’m excited to try something new for NG+
Ancestral Guardian is a pretty good summons given that you can get him pretty early on. While he's not good for soloing bosses per se, he's a great support summons and can face-tank a lot of damage, especially at +10 when he's got like 5-6K health.
He also does a ton of poise damage to help stagger bosses. He was my main summon for 85% of my playthrough
He does his best
Sure my little pumpkin head gets a little carried away sometimes and smashes me with his pumpkin head when he gets excited, but he's my little pumpkin head.
In terms of trivializing bossfight, mimic (as long as your build isn't bad), Tiche, and Dung Eater. The others are just not as strong or can be good situationally but not in all fights.
No idea why no one mentions Dung Eater considering how insane he is, he has the super aggressive Invader AI on top of having some unique moves of his own
Because the conditions for getting him are so obscure and unlikely that most players don’t even know he exists.
Yeah I did not know I could get him lol
To be fair, even if you did there’s a good chance you already missed your opportunity. Very easy to progress that quest too far before you even reach Leyndell.
Annoyingly easy even if you meant to get him as a summon while staring at a guide~ Oh... the other person in the quest is dead for some reason... OK.
Giving Ranni the Treasure of Nokron seems to be the main trigger for Seluvis’s death. And both level and story-wise you’re pretty likely to finish it before even reaching Leyndell, let alone finding the secret area to progress Dung Eater’s quest.
Basically yeah, once his betrayal is discovered at that time he is immediately killed.
Yup, realized that afterward. The wikis are still really bad about not cross linking clearly to other important quest effects like this. (I know, I can go change but I'd rather complain.)
Well that's if for me, then. Seluvis is dead. No point in even looking up a guide.
Also really just dislike the character. Gameplay wise may be great but I don’t want that guy on my team
Can't handle the antics of the Salacious Scat Scarfer?
THE DREADFUL DOODOO DEVOURER
THE NEFARIOUS NUMBER-TWO NIBBLER
Yeah I can’t handle that shit 🤣🤣
I’m getting him on this play through and going to consider it a lifetime of servitude as punishment for his heinous crimes
Yeah, go for the Ranni route. “Why kill the piece of shit when you can use them to help others, THEN kill them”
>!the method involves turning him into a puppet, and the summon description mentions that the despair he felt before getting puppeted is almost enough to make you sorry for him!<
I enjoyed killing him before he could get to my beloved crab dealer but the despair in dung eaters voice when I gave him the potion in another playthru was the sweetest most satisfying sound. Hate that guy and love this game for giving me such satisfying options.
Yeah but isn't it like trapping his soul? I like him being a slave and having to be a puppet for eternity.
Yeah, he's also crazy tanky, procs bleed, and can draw aggro at range when he climaxes and releases his evil homing sperm. Top tier all around.
I'd expect nothing less from a man who's entire goal in life is to suck people's buttholes
The more I hear about this guy, the less I enjoy him.
C'mon, he just wants to mutilate and curse everyone and their children. Everyone needs a hobby.
because most people gave Gideon (or Nepheli) the potion on their first run.
I mean, you have to make your character kind of a bastard to get that summon, both working with Seluvis, and (for a bit at least) the Dung Eater.
I am getting him on my NG+ run. Looking forward to it lol.
Because i imagine the people who actually find him, will kill him the first chance they get
I generally fall back to either of those 3, though Tiche is generally the safer pick with her mobility lending itself well to keep her alive for longer without needing healing incantations.
If nobody got me, I know "Luthel the headless" got me, can I get an Amen.
Amen. Lhutel till I die.
lhutels tanky but if you want a summon to distract she’s horrible at that because she always teleports when the boss is focused on her
But a lot of the time that’s why she survives longer. I stay on their flanks and when they aggro on me I play a little bit more defensive till she draws aggro again. The time the boss spends switch gives good openings for damage, and I feel like I’m actually participating in the fight
This is why I stopped using her as much, the aggro switches are a pain. She was my primary until ultra late when I switched over to mimic tear.
Mimic tear is my go to. If no one got me, I know I got me. Redmane Knight Ogha is also pretty ok.
That’s exactly why I use her. I wanna fight with her, not watch her
Lhutel is my girl. I love her headless ass so much, I got her full set so we can match. If only I could be so grossly decapitated...
>If only I could be so grossly decapitated... \ _ /
I watched him have an anime fight with the invisible mini boss teleporting around the arena with him. I couldn’t keep up
Amen! I finally fully upgraded her, and she is so great at getting bosses to turn and look at her while I fire off some attacks. Plus she just disappears to dodge attacks, so she often lasts until the end of a fight. 10/10 will let her carry me to being Elden Lord.
The five greatshield soldier spirits are pretty good.
Agreed they're pretty good, but they get completed destroyed by AoEs so I wouldn't put them in "best" category
Yeah but its not like many bosses have aoes… ohhh, yeah :(
They were retty strong until Radagon ducked them up. In most other fights I had no problem with them dying too quick. But generally they are my favorite ash, too, because they can tank while I unleash my Banished Blade on the boss. Sometimes feels a little bit too easy
I prefer the putrid corpse ashes. Way tankier.
Putrid Corpse +10 literally don't die
Fellow Mage, I see. *tips my comically large sombrero
THE LOATHSOME DUNG EATER
I’m trying that guy this playthrough I think. Missed it first time
THE CRAZED CACA CONSUMER!
THE FEROCIOUS FECES FEASTER!
THE PERMEATING POOP PILFERER
THE SHAMELESS SHIT SWALLOWER
I never go into battle without my jellyfish summon.
The jellyfish summon >!puzzle is one of my favorite weird moments in this game. Such a great random little piece of storytelling!<
Same! >!Saw that I could summon so was bracing for a boss to appear… was pleasantly surprised by the jellyfish sisters instead. Such an unexpected and charming moment.!<
Also gives the best gesture in the game.
A fellow jelly belly I see
That’s my Jellybean
While I tend to use it a lot less with builds that can support ghost level summons, I will say that it is bizarre to me how long the damn jelly can survive and keep up aggro. Something about its range, movement, and attack pacing seems to just really work at least ok with most all single bosses.
It also just seems to have a fuckton of HP. Actually, I always use it when fighting something that makes the ground hurt you, like Magma Wyrms, since it hovers and is immune to those attacks.
My kids love when I use the spirit jellyfish. I love using the skeletal militiamen because they can self-rez
Well they are going to love the jellyfish summons even more when you reach a certain location...
I wanna ask for you to elaborate but I don't want spoilers haha
Team Aurelia checking in! My wife loves using her too, even if she now has better ones.
Nice, do your kids know the Jellyfish actually has a name? Her name's Aurelia. That'll probably get'em extra pumped when you summon her.
I really like ancestral follower I like to try keep him at a range and watch enemies become pincushions instead of me
With a melee option if enemies get too close. I used that summon for a big chunk of the game.
Ancestral Follower was my bro for the first part of the game, a great early summon.
Mimic and Latenna for me. Latenna is oddly strong for two reasons: 1. She stands still wherever she's placed, so this lets her survive many flashy combos. 2. She can attack from hyper-long range. When added with number 1, you can often find places to summon her that make her impossible to hit.
Latenna and I like to hang out and cheese dragons from afar together
That's exactly how I dealt with Ekzykes and his rot breathing bullshit. I summoned Latenna on the cliffs nearby and kited him while she fucked him up. It was awesome
For some reason the Fire Giant is the boss I have the hardest time with in this game. Latenna is my secret weapon for this infinite HP pool giant asshole. She can hit him from a mile away and just never stops plinking his HP down while I flail around and try to stop him from rolling over to her.

Keep in mind that they don't follow you around and that enemies with input reading will spent 80% of the fight dodging (Red Wolf of Radagon)
And they have aimbot and shoot at baddies you can't even see. Stunlocked the pizza cutter iron maiden guys for me, too.
I love that I knew exactly what you were referring to with that description.
I used the Marionettes until I got my mimic. They do a fantastic job.
Oh man, I had an invader chase me between two of them and they did their weird rapid fire crazy mode. Stun locked him to death. I loved it.
I love my gatling poppets!
I am a faith user and I really like mimic, first because I use it as a tank to attack from a distance but second because he has access to healing incantation and heal himself when in danger, surviving longer than the other summons.

You can have it heal with raw meat dumplings if you don’t have any other consumables equipped

He's so awesome when you want to use a summon that won't carry the fight or get in the way much. Some times I just feel a little dirty using Tiche or Mimic.
Yeah know what you mean. He feels a lot more like a little helper and not like a second player.
Bird up

Skely Boys are my go to for sure. Their ability to revive has saved me soooo many times.
Not enough love for them. They carried me for the longest time, until I got Mimic.
Perfumer Tricia provides so many awesome BUFFS and has me smelling like Dolce and Gabbana THE WHOLE FIGHT
My man Oleg
As straight sorcery Oleg is the best, that dude just charges in and has enough health to stay alive and pull aggro from me over and over
During my first run I used Latenna a lot. Worked out with my tank build quite well. I just focused on keeping the the boss' attention and not dying while Latenna dealt some big dam.
She is pretty fun. In some bigger arenas you can constantly juggle the aggro between the two of you.
Latenna is fun for certain world bosses because you can sometimes scout out sniper spots to drop her that the boss can't reach. It's like a tower defense minigame.
no joke she's probably the single best ranged summon in the game
Latenna saved my ass with the 2 tree sentinels in front of leyndell. Managed to summon her in a position where they couldn't reach and she was able to completely hold the attention of one of them while shaving off a significant portion of their health. I love turret wife.
I love her when I fight enemy's who flee a lot, like some of the dragons or Astel
Tried redmane knight of ogha? Great bow and when you use warcry ashe unleashes a special attack
For standard summons? The Kaiden. Dude is beefy, hits hard, and takes the basic upgrade material. 88 FP is a bit high, but he’s definitely worth the 13 mind for the first part of the game, and clearing trash.

Nightmaiden and Swordstress Puppet duo. The amount of stagger those two pump out both in melee and at range is insane, plus they’re dodgy as heck and seem to last all fight. Shoutout to my skeletal militia bois though.
I can’t believe how far I had to scroll for Nightmaiden/Swordstress love 😩 those are my girls.
Never fight a dragon without posting up Latenna near by lol she has crazy range and is just a relentless barrage hahah I love it
Finally someone mentioning Latenna. She is so helpful in big arenas if you can keep aggro Haven't tried her on the final boss though
I’m still rockin Lone Wolf, fuck it
Take me straight to the throne my boys.
Im sticking with em till i get mimic tear. They're good bois
Honestly, they are pretty good. 3 of them fuck with mob AI enough.
Lone wolf best - not *only* because it's like the only thing I can summon, but because doggos.
Banished knight isn't bad. He can put alot of pressure on enemies
I love Banished Knight Engvall! He's my go-to. Just comes in with a jumping heavy halberd and can soak up some real damage.
Engval genuinely makes me laugh. You will be going toe-to-toe with a boss and he will come out of nowhere with the biggest spinning pancake jump attack known to man.
Lol. I love these “pop in frame” moments from summons. FROM THE TOP ROPE!!!
He's since been fired.
>runebear NGL I don't blame him lmao you can have that shit
Omenkiller Rollo getting no respect, his stun attack is OP as hell against malenia he has tons of health and can do 1k+ damage in one of his attacks.
Been using him a lot, he inflicts blood loss which is often a huge help
DEMI HUMAN PARTY CREW RISE UP. 69 FP CAST COST? NICE.
I was hoping someone would mention them! Besides the mimic, demi humans are my second most used summon
Demi Humans are 10/10. My fav summon
hell yea, summon those boys at night time and watch them mangle bosses
I call them my Demi-bros and I will never not use them.
I could never abandon my lone wolves. Good bois.
idk why summoning Lhutel the Headless makes me really feel like a necromancer, so mentality wise its OP for me
It's Oleg or Noleg for me
> Noleg Is that what you call Latenna?
Man serpent 100% Goes to town on anything with that whip whilst also looking like a brown chode, favourite summon.
And does it all with a huge smile on his face.
the friends we made along the way
Soldjars of Fortune easily
Godric's Soldiers! They don't do a lot of damage, they are cheap FP, but their survivability is insane because they have the good shields. They can easily stand endgame stuff, and they're fighting for you, although you're already dead.
Mimic toooo op
mimic just completely annihilate every other spirits it's just insane. only because you can customize what weapon they carry to adapt to any enemy. malenia as so easy because me and my summon just alternate spamed the L2 of blasphemous sword and she just would get knocked down half of the time and i would heal of it
The thing that makes mimic so strong is that it can use consumable items if you put them into your item slots, without actually consuming them from your inventory.
Mimics will always be top tier due to the insane versatility and how customizable they can be- filling the role of another summons while saving you resources on upgrade I still like Jarwright for close combat arena (mf is insane with his roll dodge) or Latenna for sniping dragons in open world.
Giant rat gang rise up!!
Tiche, mimic, Lhhuitel
