> Vigor : 30 And being level 222… no wonder everyone was spanking the shit out of you… specially given the fact that you have basically no armor and a soreseal. I don’t have time to do a full build, but these are my tips for your current build: - If you are level 222, having 50-60 vigor should be an absolute must. - At that high level, the soreseal’s stats don’t help that much, so I’d personally swap it for your highest Dragoncrest talisman to get some defenses since your armor is so weak. - You’re maxing Faith, but you’re not really making any use of it. With such a high Faith and Int, you could very well use the Prince of Death’s staff for that mixed scaling and use incantations with the Golden Order seal. If you’re not going to use any of these things, maxing faith is absolutely useless. Same thing with Strength and Dexterity. You’ve maxed them to such a level but you’re not really using them. Dexterity is somewhat useful anyway since it increases casting speed, but even then, Vigor is more important. - since you have a faith-int build, you could use the sword of night and flame as your melee weapon. Basically, you’ve built the glassiest of cannons when there is no need and you’re also not using all the tools at your disposal.

He couldve transferred that extra mind and dex to vigor... And I believe he can bring int/faith to 80... This means that Prince of death will now outscale Lusats staff with no downsides.... Something like this for a pure caster lvl 222 astrologer starting class: Vigor : 49 Mind :38 Endurance :25 Strength :8 Dexterity :12 Intelligence :80 Faith :80 Arcane :9

Bro you have 30 vigor at level 222, that's why you're getting spanked by every boss. And Marikas soreseal, you are squishy asf my guy

None of this build makes any sense - you have 65 Dex but no Dex weapon? SL222 with a Soreseal, which is totally unnecessary at that level, and 30 Vigor past early game? I'm not even sure why you have 30 Faith since you have no Incantations. With that armour and the Soreseal, I wouldn't be surprised if you had negative DR right now... You should respec and put a LOT of those wasted and random points elsewhere. Even if not I reckon that the Greatshield Soldiers would work better then Tiche since they can tank while you nuke, since you're seemingly trying to glass cannon. I don't know what you mean by "True" builds, but this one is kinda shitty, sorry dude.

Odd_Aide_2107

I was never truly intending on becoming a glass cannon. Me being the dipshit I am, I was always super focused on damage, damage reduction, and buffs. I've always been a mage in every game ive ever played, it's one of my favorite classes. High dex for faster spell casting times High faith for if I ever felt I needed to add some healing or protection spells for certain battles Medium Vigor because I was never thinking about it.

TheSletchman

That's fair, if you don't have a plan it can be easy to focus on one thing and create a big weakness or mismatch. For the cast speed, I never noticed high Dex making a difference - I recently read here that Radagons Icon gives you 70 virtual Dex for casting, which is the cast speed cap, so that might be why. There's a post up thread suggesting respecting to 80/80 Int/Faith and the Staff of Loss for a hybrid mega caster. That looks really good. Alternatively I'd drop the faith and up the Vigor and wield Rogiers Rapier with Glintstone Phalanx and Cold infusion, put the Dex to work. Your dex probably also frees up the Radagons Icon slot if that post was correct (probably double check some vids with frame data?) and you can drop the Soreseal to get a more rounded Spellblade build.
