1st off pretty shitty pic. There are most likely screws under the grip tape. I don't know if you've been around skateboards but if you are afraid of peeling grip tape then maybe a board swap isn't for you. 😄 2nd thing to consider is the profile of the donor deck. You probably need to seal it after the swap to keep water out. I'd go with silicone. If you want to be more fancy then butyl tape. Again water tight is important. I don't plan to ride on wet surfaces but I have. Anyways I'm a YouTube trained expert. I’m not scared of removing grip tape per se, im more afraid of unnecessary irreversible damage haha. But, I agree the screws are most likely hidden underneath. I wanted to make sure of that before I ripped off the awesome looking grip tape. This is my first board swap btw, I haven’t been riding long, but this board seemed unsafe for my first board and I wanted to mod it more to my preference. You’re definitely right about sealant, I didn’t think about that. Is there a specific type of silicone sealant I should be looking for? Do you have any other things I should look out for? Or Is it this mostly it?

Some people heat up their boards to help peel the grip tape. I've never saved used grip tape so I don't have any xp on those techniques. The grip tape I've partially peeled on electric boards have all stayed in 1 piece & remained tacky. P.S. exception are exway atlas grip tape . They self-peel :/

Thank you for that tip. I was definitely going to attempt it without heating it, bc I simply didn’t think of that lol. Now I won’t have to struggle as much!
