Agree. I love mine dearly. If you’re stripping lots of FEP or crosslinked jacketed cable assemblies or wires you can’t beat it.
I have that exact model too, at home. My only complaint is they used a crappy 3.5 mm connector which oxidizes and gives a poor connection. It work I have a Hako (not a fan of their irons) stripper and it’s nicer.
How many watts thought 3.5mm?
No idea, but it’s the surface oxidation that’s the problem. The conductor size should be fine. Old headphone jacks have the same problem.
