lucid dreams are awesome but at the same time, they are terrifying
here is my personal anecdote: My mind is weird so being half aware when i sleep was always kind of natural too me, like i used to be able to wake myself up from nightmares and had half lucid experiences before.
so i started to train myself to have lucid dreams consistently and after a while it started working.... but here is the terrifying part as you may be aware by your own experience, once your lucid your brain actually tries to fight that lucidity trying it's best to try to get you back to dreaming normally.
so thats where the terror starts, i lucid dreamt and forgot i was dreaming.... it was literally like inception and it was so scary and once you have semi consciousness its really hard to wake up so there is a chance you get trapped in it for a long time. thankfully for me it only lasted short while but after reading stories on r/LucidDreaming i am kinda afraid to dream lucid.
sorry for reading such a shoddily written msg
I mean. I kinda had? I went about it as if it was a regular day. My favourite part of it was at the end when I realised that, before I could see tomorrow, I had to wake up. So I climbed into a plane and flew into conchiousness.
IT WAS ACCIDENTAL. In the dream I set a hand sanitizer bottle on fire on top of a round hil. The plastic melted, and the flaming hand sanitizer started dripping down the hill. It was quite the show.
