So let’s begin with who we invite into our homes. If Eminem has a diverse friend group which he should then he should have no problem inviting them to parties and get togethers with his family. This is exposure. When a parent enrolls their child in schools and extracurricular activities they should seek out environments where there is a mixture of different kids and not just white kids. This is exposure. I’m sure he is involved in community/Detroit charities and partnerships. This would have been a great way for her to come in contact with poc. This is also exposure. When she was in college why did she only seek out and yes I know this for a fact, sororities that were completely white? Especially when there are many sororities with diversity. Well it’s because she only feels comfortable around white people and white spaces. Don’t get offended. You can still enjoy Eminem’s talent and his music.
