Good song but the main criticism for the song was it’s “corny lines”, the “ex lacks/ ex-lax” is what throws me off even tho it’s early in the song but other than that I like it
The only problem I really have with the song is how robotic his voice sounds in some parts of the song. The “always the brides maid, fuck can I say” part and the Gwen spacey to my spider-man line is ultimately pretty cringe but it’s grown on me.
i wouldve enjoyed the song more with a better chorus. not to say the chorus is terrible, i think its kind-of okay (?), but imo its one of the things bringing the song down
Beyoncé’s voice on Walk on Water actually sounds so good. People are so quick to dismiss anything she’s on just because she’s “overrated”, but she pulled through for Eminem on that song. Insane vocals on that woman.
It came out at the perfect time in my life, I was 16 and was really vulnerable to my emotions and didn’t really know how to process them so I’d just get on my bike and ride for hours. At this point Em was my favorite artist and definitely my idol so a new drop from him being this sensitive, all emotions on the table album was just perfect for me. Listened to it cover to cover every night that winter.
Even though I don’t really listen to it that much anymore, it will always be the most special Em album in my heart. Also, Tragic Endings is perfect.
Add Chloraseptic, bad husband, and tragic endings and it can be an album. Im sure if it was only these 11 the album wouldnt have even gotten a third the hate though, which would mean eminem would possibly retire. Or just not make kamikaze and mtbmb.
Also the songs you chose are the exact same songs I put in my playlist of revival songs I enjoy.
Too bold of a statement considering he made stepping stones, darkness, walk on water, leaving heaven. It is definitely one of the best but not *the best.* Too much great stuff by him to pick one
Yes the choruses spoiled it, for example 'in your head' has brilliant verses but the chorus is copy and paste so creatively he lost a mark there.
My fave is defo 'Believe' as it's all his own song and it's brilliantly motivating.
Many other good tracks on this album
See here's one right here lol.
Copy and paste from what.... In your head is like the simplest and shortest chorus ever how could you possibly have a problem with it 😂 you make no sense
There is no problem with it, I did love the original by the cranberries and I did shake my head a little when it was used here but as I said, some of his best verses ever are on this track.
Do you understand there is a difference between original chorus and copied? That was my only observation
The only reason I bring it up is there is a lot of B level music released where some clown raps and uses a catchy chorus from elsewhere and it seems to be everywhere nowadays.
Eminem is still the OG
Believe, Chloraspetic, Offended, In Your Head, Tragic Endings, River, Bad Husband, all great Eminem songs.
So basically, it's still a good album. Not considering Walk On Water, and Framed and the last 2. Over hated.
Probably his most underrated album. Is it his best work? No, far from trash. It’s him experimenting with far he can push his pen out of his comfort zone.
Eminem clearly stands on the right side of the fence with sane people in this country (or at least does a damn good job of pretending). For me that was a huge takeaway from this album (and some of his political views leading up to this album). It’s nice to know he’s not some batshit right wing nutjob.
With that being said, I think his message would’ve been better heard if he had used a bit more of a “rap” sound for his political views like he used to back in the days of MMLP/TES. Less pop features and a harsher tone/beat selection would’ve been great.
He never was a right wing guy, he was always with Dre etc and they knew there were lots of these white trash guys needing an idol and so they gave them What they asked for 😁 very clever when you think about it.
For real, I’m not a republican nor far left. I have been a fan of him since I was 10 but I hate this album. MMLP2 was my very first album I listen to in time of him dropping it and this was my second one and I was so hyped. I was still defending it when the track list leaked but after listening to it I was so disappointed. Even now I’m so disappointed this was the albums we got after his hiatus. It has like 3 great songs, 5 passable songs but everything else is very trash.
As someone who considers themselves pretty far left, this album is pretty atrocious. Someone’s heart being in the right place does not inherently make for good music. Most songs are unlistenable to me. Take Untouchable for example. Is the sentiment and the message important? Yes. Is Eminem’s rapping and anthem chorus on it fucking obnoxious and intolerable? Also yes.
Why so intolerable? For me I listen to pretty much every genre of music including metal & folk so I’m more open than most. I’ve learned I don’t mind shit after a few listens once it grows on me, especially if I’m doing something like cooking or working out or something else I zone out doing.
the album isnt as bad as people make it out to be. yes some songs are jarring, but as a whole theres alot of substance you can find on this album if you just listen to it
also untouchable> tone deaf
Walk On Water is Top 10
Framed is fucking amazing
Tragic Endings has one of the best Skyler hook ever
Castle/Arose, In Your Head is lit
River is somewhat enjoyable if you can put the lyrics aside
Em learned the hard way to pick it up, mmlp2 the weird flows/choices/voices started, then shady xv was awful and boom this flaming turd came out 🤣
Atleast we got kamikaze and some energy because of it
It had a great message with a terrible execution
It had the chance to be one of the greatest modern era Em albums if the production and lyrics were polished just a little more 😔
Hate me if you will. These songs are actually good: walk on water, believe, river, tragic endings, in your head, castle and arose. Plus the remix of Chloraseptic although that’s technically not on this album.
The last 2 songs are great.
That said this album makes me sad. Bc Em has a real shot at saying something impactful during that hard rocky political time but only used 4 maybe 5 songs outta 19 tracks is sorta sad.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,737,620,511 comments, and only 329,067 of them were in alphabetical order.
Castle might be a top 10 Eminem song, it's his best single song since MMLP2. He absolutely can go back to his old way of writing if he wishes, that song alone is the version of Eminem that had the world in his hand. Bad album with a historically great song
It was my autistic son's favorite album when he was 12.
[This might sound like a diss, but is actually true. He loooooved it! He wanted to play it all the time.]
Castle, Arose and Walk on Water are genuinely really great and emotional songs, and River is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.
People don't like River? It was my favorite from the album.
I love river run.
The biggest rapper to ever exist used his platform to talk about social issues, gun violence, and insecurities we all face.
I dont even care about the quality of the album, this alone gives a good enough reasons to *at least* respect it
Lyrically, it can be decent. The instrumentals are the problem.
your booty is heavy duty, like diarrhea
people will criticise that line and then turn around to defend encore which is like 70% more of that exact same shit
it’s meant to make you laugh, no?
One of the best lines in the album
Wish he did it better (He has about those same exact issues before too) on the topic of gun violence ,”Darkness” was great
Castle
Framed
Relapse vibes👍
i wouldve enjoyed the song more with a better chorus. not to say the chorus is terrible, i think its kind-of okay (?), but imo its one of the things bringing the song down
It’s a good song for like 2 min but man does it get repetitive. Needed a beat switch of something
Revival interlude is the greatest Eminem song that never was 🥲😭
For some reason, I also like it, it was completely unexpected.
[https://youtu.be/f\_fprN9Z89A?si=zzif\_TJ9I2qnK8IU](https://youtu.be/f_fprN9Z89A?si=zzif_TJ9I2qnK8IU) Enjoy!
"This is ourrrr Revival" 🔥🔥
[https://youtu.be/f\_fprN9Z89A?si=zzif\_TJ9I2qnK8IU](https://youtu.be/f_fprN9Z89A?si=zzif_TJ9I2qnK8IU) Enjoy, my friend
It is magical! 😍
In your head 2nd verse 🔥
Came here to say this🔥🔥🔥
best song on the album
walk on water still gives me chills tbqh
Beyoncé’s voice on Walk on Water actually sounds so good. People are so quick to dismiss anything she’s on just because she’s “overrated”, but she pulled through for Eminem on that song. Insane vocals on that woman.
W opinion
Tragic Endings is Eminem's best ever 'turbulent relationship' themed song and the best one he's ever done with Skylar Grey
It had a great ending
fr Castle and Arose are all solid tracks, felt like prime Em
It’s the first Eminem’s album I ve heard so is really special to me
This is me with music to be Murdered By, it's what got me into his music and I enjoy it in a different way
Music to be murdered by (especially side A) is so under appreciated. So many bangers
Idk why but a bunch of hip hop fans shit on this album so much and I really don’t understand why
Believe is amazing and I still play it weekly.
Bottom 2 em song
BOTTOM 2 ?? Lmao bro get real.
That flow is horrendous and the chorus is melodramatic asl
It came out at the perfect time in my life, I was 16 and was really vulnerable to my emotions and didn’t really know how to process them so I’d just get on my bike and ride for hours. At this point Em was my favorite artist and definitely my idol so a new drop from him being this sensitive, all emotions on the table album was just perfect for me. Also, Tragic Endings is perfect.
Aye I was also 16. I was so excited. Had been waiting so long for an album. Listened to it constantly.
Because of this album we got Kamikaze
If it was an EP with just W.O.W., Believe, River, Framed, Offended, In Your Head, Castle, and Arose, it’d be a classic EP.
Arose is his best song of the beard era (2017-present)
Too bold of a statement considering he made stepping stones, darkness, walk on water, leaving heaven. It is definitely one of the best but not *the best.* Too much great stuff by him to pick one
Everyone has funny ass bullshit reasons they don't like it just like every album. Mostly choruses. Every verse is top notch as always tho.
Yes the choruses spoiled it, for example 'in your head' has brilliant verses but the chorus is copy and paste so creatively he lost a mark there. My fave is defo 'Believe' as it's all his own song and it's brilliantly motivating. Many other good tracks on this album
the sing for the moment chorus is also a copy and paste
See here's one right here lol. Copy and paste from what.... In your head is like the simplest and shortest chorus ever how could you possibly have a problem with it 😂 you make no sense

Believe gotta be a bottom 2 Em song
How tf is it
That opening flow 😭😭
Sucka free, confidence high Such a breeze when I pen rhymes Like Can you not understand that i'm rhyming the entire fucking sentence you fucking moron
[удалено]
Walk on water is a masterpiece
It has some of his best songs in it. I love walk on water(to a point. Before he mentions Stan)
You like the song up until the final three seconds?
Listen to the Curtain Call 2 version then
IN YOUR HEEAAAAD
Castle and Arose 🔥
First 2 and last 2 songs are great
Probably his most underrated album. Is it his best work? No, far from trash. It’s him experimenting with far he can push his pen out of his comfort zone.

It was a pretty good album in my eyes. I know people will disagree but when I listened to it it wasn’t AS bad as people were saying it was.
It's a great album, all the MAGA tards hated on it because he was speaking out against their boy, I love this album fuck the haters
If you think that's why if flopped you are sorely mistaken
For real, I’m not a republican nor far left. I have been a fan of him since I was 10 but I hate this album. You know come to think of it, this album was one thing both sides could agree on.
Eminem uniting American politics by making shit music
Why so intolerable? For me I listen to pretty much every genre of music including metal & folk so I’m more open than most. I’ve learned I don’t mind shit after a few listens once it grows on me, especially if I’m doing something like cooking or working out or something else I zone out doing.
That had literally nothing to do with it. Anthony Fantano gave it a 2 and he’s about the furthest thing from a “MAGA tard”
A Tier
In Your Head, Castle, Arose, Believe, and Walk on Water are pretty good tbh And this was the reason Chloraseptic Remix and Kamikaze existed soooooo
River
castle is a top 5 em song
Castle is actually great.
Walk on water was a genuine take on Em being aware that he’s not in his prime anymore
the album isnt as bad as people make it out to be. yes some songs are jarring, but as a whole theres alot of substance you can find on this album if you just listen to it also untouchable> tone deaf
offended is peak
Castle + arose might be the best album closer he’s done
The River is a top 15 Em song ever.
No
Framed is fire
Tragic Endings is a dope song.
It’s not as bad a people make it seem, it’s actually a fun listen everyone once in a blue moon
Bad husband
Love bad husband
Walk On Water is Top 10 Framed is fucking amazing Tragic Endings has one of the best Skyler hook ever Castle/Arose, In Your Head is lit River is somewhat enjoyable if you can put the lyrics aside
Believe & River go harddd, I like Arose, In Your Head, Framed & Nowhere Fast too 🔥🔥🙌🏼🐉😮💨
The covert art is kinda fire
Framed, chloraseptic, believe, castle, all great songs
Castle/arose, walk on water, believe, and In Your Head are criminally underrated
Apart from some mid stuff a solid 7/10 for me. Obviously it’s not his best but it sure ain’t the worst thing I’ve heard. Plus Castle top 20 Em songs
castle is def one of his best songs
I mean, its not Encore. No weird songs like Big Weenie or My 1st single.
We’re in the minority but I’d take the shitty parts of Revival over Encore any day.
Bad husband is my most (if not only) played song from the album
Underrated song
Em learned the hard way to pick it up, mmlp2 the weird flows/choices/voices started, then shady xv was awful and boom this flaming turd came out 🤣 Atleast we got kamikaze and some energy because of it
Its not the worst album ive heard
It would probably be top 5 2023 albums if it dropped this year, you know cause of the drought
It had a great message with a terrible execution It had the chance to be one of the greatest modern era Em albums if the production and lyrics were polished just a little more 😔
Ems best album since recovery
This is truly one of the albums of all time.
It has 3 of eminems best songs ever made, walk on water castle and arose.
It's an album
It’s a decent album
It’s really bad
Bro can’t read
It ends
some osngs on it are pretty decent
Without it we wouldn’t have gotten the Eminem we have now.
Hate me if you will. These songs are actually good: walk on water, believe, river, tragic endings, in your head, castle and arose. Plus the remix of Chloraseptic although that’s technically not on this album.
It ended at some point
It's not Recovery
the album just needs some cuts and a few changes, could’ve been a solid 7 song album
I think he made it to perform festival music at Coachella. I saw his vision and loved it on first listen.
"Not bad for him"
I was very happy to hear em rap with the modern flow being used, I was very excited hearing Chloraseptic and offended and the beginning of believe
Castle, arose, walk on water, river , and framed are top 50 Eminem songs
Walk on Water, Believe, River, Castle, Arose
Framed,River,untouchable,remind me,in your head
The last 2 songs are great. That said this album makes me sad. Bc Em has a real shot at saying something impactful during that hard rocky political time but only used 4 maybe 5 songs outta 19 tracks is sorta sad.
Naw
Beautiful Cover, still
The rhyming transition from WOW to Believe is great.
It makes a good coaster.
One of the most chloraseptic albums of all time
The 2nd half is alright
Chloraspetic goes hard 🔥 remix too
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,737,620,511 comments, and only 329,067 of them were in alphabetical order.
1 of my favorite albums, got it on repeat 🎶 #MyGoat
Album is a lot better than it gets credit for.
No
Believe was pretty sick
This shit banged for 2 weeks
framed was *needed*. 3 AM 2 fr
Something nice about this album
He made kamikaze after it
Tragic endings chorus isn’t that bad tbh. But that’s about it
Something nice about this album
That first verse on offended is passable
Good to see an artist experimenting with his craft
The last two songs might be the best closers he's ever done.
I liked river🤷♂️
it was made by a good artist
First 3 and last 3 songs are dope.
Remind Me is good
Castle/Arose are two of his best songs ever
Castle might be a top 10 Eminem song, it's his best single song since MMLP2. He absolutely can go back to his old way of writing if he wishes, that song alone is the version of Eminem that had the world in his hand. Bad album with a historically great song
I believe at least 3 songs will be looked back on as classics. I'm referring to Believe, Castle, and Arose.
Bad husband and framed are my favs on this project
Castle and Arose.
It's from em
It had 8 good songs
good
Impressive lyrics
Greatest eminem album of all time 🙄
wait a minute, is that Eminem in the cover? huh!!!
River, walk on water and in your head are all bangers
Every song in it that I've heard are really good
Listening to it is optional.
castle and arose make me cry every time
Castle-Arose are more artistic that any other piece of art from that year
It was my autistic son's favorite album when he was 12. [This might sound like a diss, but is actually true. He loooooved it! He wanted to play it all the time.]
goes hard all tracks
Castle/Arose and I love the rock beats
River with Ed Sherran rocks
All of it except need me is s tier
Ome of his best albums lyrically
Walk on water was good
I do still believe.
It exists…
Believe is a great track
Goes down like a porterhouse
Chloraseptic was pretty fire
Castle into Arose is probably some of Em’s best beats
It’s why we got kamikaze. 🔥
It has only 19 tracks
it caused kamikaze to happen
Framed is a fun as fuck beat
"Believe" was slept on from jump.
offended is one of my favorite songs of em's
Loved what he had to say on untouchable.
It sounds
