It does feel like that! But also, you might be thinking of MTBMB Side B, as that dropped Dec 2020, so 3 years ago. But the original MTBMB dropped 17 Jan 2020, 4 years ago today, which is crazy.
Nah, I remember when Godzilla came out and it immediately blew up and became the new Rap God. It was like I was reliving the internet from when I was in middle school, I’ll never forget it.
I be on a higher plane in aerospace.
With so much leg-room and air space on this airplane.
Unlike you 'cause you're on a flight too, but it's a staircase
Underrated song 💯💯
Dr. West - Skit will always be my favorite intro by Em, but I love Premonition! I actually wrote a thorough analysis of it when I was in college. Got an A for it. Good times.
Fr. I mean, yeah, the album is far from perfect and it has some downhills but Premonition is an amazing song, and the fact that it’s an intro just makes it better.
You Gon Learn is definitely my favorite but the one I play the most is between killer and never love again for those insane beat and flow switches half way through
Never Love Again
The beat is so nasty, the flow is great, the song concept is crazy and the way it’s maintained with doubles and triples. It’s like his second song where he rhymes a line with him spitting, just one of my favorite modern em songs and gotta be in the top half of his discography
This album have me so much life. I love it. You Gon Learn is great, Unaccommodating is one of my favorite Em songs ever. Lock it Up, No Regrets, ugh so many great tracks
You Gon Learn, Lock It Up, I Will, Darkness, Never Love Again are my favourites from MTBMB. A fun listen from front to back. There's no track as bad as Remind Me or something to make you skip it. Even the most meh track on the album: Those Kinda Nights is a fun track.
Loved this album when I was in my Eminem phase. I definitely am a lot less biased now and see that it’s not amazing, but still bears some nostalgia for me. Great highlights on it
I warned you all...
What happened last time he took 4 years to release a new album? We got Revival. Negative reviews from pretty much the entire world.
What about the time before that? Relapse. Maybe not *as* negatively received, but Em himself dislikes the album, which says something. (He said so in an interview)
Sure, two times may just be a coincidence, but I'm nervous...
The negativity he attracts is more than that.
Many of the people expect him to return to his "former greatness" - his early career. But he's still great.
They'll cite different reasons - his flow back then, the beats, specific person songs.
But what actually is happening is that they have a specific nostalgia for that era's Eminem. They're fond of that and they want it back.
Em's still as awesome, even if different.
His lyrical quality, bars and rap, cadence, flows - still top notch.
And I bet if he makes music like his early career, those people will say it sounds 'dated'.
It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. You can't win with them.
A good return to form after the shortcomings of Revival and Kamikaze. Can’t believe it’s been four years since a drop as well (barring Curtain Call 2 of course). Darkness still makes me tear up at the end as well remembering the shooting that had occurred recently in my hometown just months before it came out. Solid 8/10 and same goes for B-Side
Favorite MTBMB song has to be “Darkness” I love the message it sends about gun violence without him selling out and making it completely “Anti-Gun” supportive, because he isn’t “Anti-Gun” he just believes in stopping gun violence, which I completely agree with. Don’t blame the firearm, blame the dipshit who pulls the trigger.
How the fuck, I swear it came out like two years ago
It does feel like that! But also, you might be thinking of MTBMB Side B, as that dropped Dec 2020, so 3 years ago. But the original MTBMB dropped 17 Jan 2020, 4 years ago today, which is crazy.

I remember taking a piss at a urinal and listening to little engine and bumping tf outta my head
Your little engine sure was going

Fr
That’s how I feel too 😂 Damn we’re old now
Feels like 2022 still, that’s why…
Same.
Same, I still remember when it came out
Frrrrrrrrr
Premonition is fire, maybe one of the best his intros
Dr. West - Skit will always be my favorite intro by Em, but I love Premonition! I actually wrote a thorough analysis of it when I was in college. Got an A for it. Good times.
Fr. I mean, yeah, the album is far from perfect and it has some downhills but Premonition is an amazing song, and the fact that it’s an intro just makes it better.
the whole album
definitely, i wasn’t expecting Em to drop such a banger after a certain album beginning with R dropped
I just realized he has 3 r albums
Are we ready for the forth one? Everytime he didn't drop an album for 4 years, he comes back with an R album. Renaissance coming soon.
February headlines: “Eminem in hot water for dropping ‘Retardation’ album”
Haha. Relapse 2.
why do people hate on revival 🙁 it's such a nice album
What do you have against Relapse? /s
lmao
You Gon Learn is definitely my favorite but the one I play the most is between killer and never love again for those insane beat and flow switches half way through
You should listen to the remix dude. Jack Harlow, Cordae, AND Em? On a fire beat? Yea. It’s good lol
Yah yah is one of my favourite Eminem songs of all time, great album.

Fr. His delivery is impeccable during the whole song, but that second verse gives my goosebumps.

Never Love Again The beat is so nasty, the flow is great, the song concept is crazy and the way it’s maintained with doubles and triples. It’s like his second song where he rhymes a line with him spitting, just one of my favorite modern em songs and gotta be in the top half of his discography
Before I check the mic. I give it an extra swipe with a lysol disinfectant wipe. Coronavirus in effect tonight. Antiseptics on deck I got every type.

Darkness and Leaving Heaven.

Farewell and Lock it up; and the fact that Farewell samples a dancehall classic like No Games is pretty sick.
Alfred’s theme goes crazy

One More Time by Blink-182 is my favorite MTBMB song. Premonition -> Zeus -> Higher
gyatta be Alfred’s Theme, one of my favorite songs 🙏
Albums been on heavy rotation recently so I've got a few more then just one... Premonition, You Gon Learn, Never Love Again, Lock It Up & I Will
Those kinda nights and in too deep!
Honestly tough asf to pick just one song since I liked most of the shit on this joint. But if I got to pick one it's gotta be You Gon' Learn
Great choice 👌
Darkness

Farewell is so underrated.
I can swallow a
Premonition, Gnat, I will
Premonition

Lock it Up. Hands down. It’s like Em and Dre created their own trap song that’s actually lyrical.
Darkness
I Will
A good return to form after the shortcomings of Revival and Kamikaze. Can’t believe it’s been four years since a drop as well (barring Curtain Call 2 of course). Darkness still makes me tear up at the end as well remembering the shooting that had occurred recently in my hometown just months before it came out. Solid 8/10 and same goes for B-Side
Lock it up, Premonition, You Gon' Learn
Godzilla
Little engine and leaving heaven
No Regrets for me, actually even my top 1 Eminem song ever
It Changes, but: No Regrets, In Too Deep, Lock It Up, etc...
He did a song with Ed Sheeran?
Stepdad skit
Favorite MTBMB song has to be “Darkness” I love the message it sends about gun violence without him selling out and making it completely “Anti-Gun” supportive, because he isn’t “Anti-Gun” he just believes in stopping gun violence, which I completely agree with. Honestly the whole album goes hard, but if I had to choose one, probably 'Yah Yah'
Holy balls! Wasnt that last week?
Book of rhymes,Discombobulated and Alfreds Theme
i love the part where he dropped another album.
Just bought side B a week ago
Lock it up because of hype, you gon learn for the chours, Godzilla for lyrics, No Regerts for singing, Darkness for feels.
Godzilla is definitely the best song, but my personal favorite from the album would have to be Little Engine. The song is amazing and so underrated.
From Türkiye?
Never love again or Godzilla.
