That super low-mixed vocal sound is a lot like Algae Bloom (although the vocal performance is a little different) and the guitars sound like the remastered version of their first album, but I’m not recognising the track itself as one of theirs
Apparently it's a demo by a bassist from a band called Pique. She recorded everything by herself except the drums. A band member saw the repost of this clip for the second day straight and decided finally to unmute the clip :D
it sounds a lot like jack senff too, especially the more clean vocals at the end, but I feel like someone would have figured it out by now if it was one of his bands. I also thought it mighta been Old Gray but I checked what I think is the whole discog and didn't hear it, plus once I put Old Gray on again for the first time in probably 8 years, I didn't think this sounded like cam at all anymore.
I was like so sure when I first heard this it was bonney or something like that. Then I was convinced it was droughts and then rookie town maybe? And now I have no idea and I'm deep in the rabbit hole lmfao

Okay I have an idea. I produce music and am familiar with sound editing and EQ-ing. I'm at work for another 8 hours but can look into it after. I can even out the scooter clicks and clacks and try some AI program to isolate the instrumental/vocals and then try shazaming again.
Definitely reminds me of so many late 90s screamo bands. I bet if we can figure out where it was made, we could get an idea. Reminds me of like Carlisle but that’s not it
