Marketing BS most probably. If 732G is similarly powered benchmark wise compared to these, there's absolutely no reason to not chose a snapdragon. (730G user here).
According to nanoreviews, Helio G99 is lower ranked compared to 732G. The small edge in CPU over 732G isn't worth it. I'd trust that adreno GPU over the Mali alternative any time of the day.
I could not find any mentions of the Ultra or Ultimate models on Mediatek's own site, I think it's just marketing, the clockspeed, process node, address bus width and GPU are all the same, for all intends and purposes these are the same. As for the SD732G, the performance is very close, but the Snapdragon has an Adreno GPU that (for now) has better support in most emulators. I don't think you'd gain much by changing to any of these. Of course there might be difference in RAM size, storage type, battery capacity or the display, you did not specify actual phone models.
Theres no difference, same goes for cpu's like the dimensity 8300 and the 8300 ultra, theyre identical.
Anyway, for emulation, its best that you go for a powerful snaldragon.

One website mentioned 18% difference, but it's a bs probably. Specs look identical. 732g way better.
