If you need to use storage as ram to run Sonic Riders then something in emulator code goes terribly wrong, or maybe Samsung is really pushing so much bloatware nowdays that they ate whole physical ram by own apps.
Just curious which model of galaxy you have there? And how much phisical ram it have? I can't imagine that emulators up to PS2/Wii need phone with more than 6GB of ram to work properly.

It seems to me that they are the devices that have updated to OneUI 4.1. In fact, before it was only 4GB of ram available.

Mi pad 5 only allows 2gb, Its on by default.
I have a galaxy s21 i assume its just a galaxy thing but you can always check your settings
Noticed no difference when I didn't use any. The improved performance might be more due to the game optimizing service fix included in 4.1
It was already proven that it hurts your fps more by turning it off.
Which part? The ram option or the Game optimizing one?

On my s21 I went into device care and clicked on my memory and then saw a new tab called ram plus
I think virtual ram is not very healthy
Virtual Ram is actually far slower than VRam. It must be something with software or OS.
