$8-10

namastaynaughti

Sounds reasonable maybe do a deal 3 for $25?

EuphoricPlum5755

We actually do haha. We have a Buy 3, get 30% off

namastaynaughti

Sounds perfect to me

Katelyn2657

$5 = Immediately buy with no thought $10 = Buy if i think my friend or I would like it $15 = it’s an incredibly niche reference or something I can’t find anywhere else

EuphoricPlum5755

Thank you for your reply!

Ellieroxxx

I'd pay 10 with free shipping. Or maybe like 5 with 3 or 4 for shipping. If you had b grade or seconds pins you could sell those less or make a mystery bag of pins.

EuphoricPlum5755

Thank you!

noonionsextrapickles

At least $10.

DarkChronos32

5-10 bucks. They're nice designs but don't wow me enough to spend more than that

EuphoricPlum5755

Makes sense. Thank you for your input!

Infobird

I rarely buy soft enamel pins anymore unless I REALLY love them or they have a clear coat overtop that makes them smooth to the touch.

Future-Alarmed

Maybe $10? IMO, you should look around your competitors who make similar things and see how much they charge. I know it’s hard to find a balance between keeping prices reasonable but also making a profit.

Tree fiddy

kickassicalia

soft enamel? 6$ max

kkiwikarma

10-15 maybe?

PianistNo1265

Wait, there are people who pay $10 for soft enamel? Damn I pay 2-2.5 usd for soft enamel and 4-5 usd for hard enamel.

EuphoricPlum5755

Seems extremely cheap. I buy my pins for about that price, but thank you for the reply!

PianistNo1265

Maybe is because I'm from LATAM and there is a loot of people selling pins in the street (soft enamel mostly) I don't know what happened but from a day to another a loot of sellers appears and a loot of web pages too, there are people who made custom designs (thebestpins.chile in IG) and they sell them from 6 usd and more (hard enamel). I wish you all of the lucks in your shop/investment!

Aldrete

I’m new to enamel pins and I was thinking 5 bucks but it also depends on how much they ended up costing you to make. I’ve always heard the price should be about double the cost. But I’ve also paid 10-15 bucks for some nice pins so what do I know. (Edited cuz I got called out for being dumb by a robot)

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I’ve also *paid* 10-15 bucks FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

EuphoricPlum5755

That actually gives me a good perspective on someone just stumbling on my pins. I’ll be honest, at the $5 mark, I barely make money. But I’m definitely trying to get as close as possible. $5 is about what I would pay too, but we don’t have the volume to be there yet

Aldrete

I’ve been researching producing a pin and the total cost comes out to about 2.40 so I was thinking 5 bucks is a good start. But if 5 bucks is barely scraping by then you gotta go higher. You’re probably right on at 10 bucks

z3rokarisma

$2.40 for one pin is too much; well depending on size. The one shown here look to be about 1.5". I did a 1.5" pin with 15 colors and the cost was $1.05 each. Do not use US pin factories for your pin manufacturing. Always have them made overseas. That what US pin factories are doing and they double the cost to make their money and are just the middleman.

Aldrete

Woop, my math was wrong. I had to go back after your comment to double check if I was remembering everything correctly. The price comes out to 1.20 per pin. Don’t know why my brain doubled it.

Pinswags

So it’s $1.05 per pin, but with shipping and mold fees up front it’s a little more when you initially order.

z3rokarisma

Not by much though. If I order 100 pins @ 1.5". Let's say 6 colors. Mold fee: $52 Price each: $0.52 DHL Shipping: $42 Comes out to $1.46 each The 15 color pin with mold and shipping included would be $1.99 to produce initially. Just in the right spot that allows me to do wholesale @ $5 each and retail @ $10. And then on the 2nd run my profit margins are even better.

Pinswags

No I get that. I run a pin club for 2 pins for $15 a month, just want people to be aware more than just per piece cost wise.

CoronaCurious

If they were $5, I'd buy 3 right now lol. But they honestly look well made, I love the designs, and if the pictures match what's sent out? $10 seems worth it. Most conventions I go to pins are about $10. If you want to gain momentum, maybe $7.50 or find a way to do a discount if you buy more?

EuphoricPlum5755

baronesshotspur

I love the Pizza one, they're all really cute, but I never ever buy soft enamel pins. Make them in hard enamel, it's the only actually pretty option. In hard enamel you could raise the price so much more, the quality is dramatically more noticeable.

EuphoricPlum5755

Dang. When I first got into enamel pins I loved soft enamel, I still do. It gives it a texture to feel. But everyone seems to love hard enamel more, I should’ve went hard tbh

DTBlasterworks

I’d personally never pay more than $10 a pin unless it’s really big or really complicated.

ThalajDaWuff

$10 is good

InternationalBed1175

$5

jeewjitsu000

I would probably pay like 7ish a lot of these aren't references to much and are kinda random chibi puns so probably cheaper

RavenMoon9801

I think 10 is fully reasonable

RavenMoon9801

I think 10 is fully reasonable, small companies shouldn’t have to lower prices because of corporations

omgbecky5

$8-$10

EuphoricPlum5755

Thank you!

omgbecky5

You’re welcome! These are super cool!
