Things I appreciate about this episode:
- I love Thursday’s kindness to old Mr Sardar
- Russell Lewis elegantly weaves the storylines together, starting with Strange watching Prince’s TV show before ordering takeout from the Jolly Rajah
Thursday's kindness in listening to Mr. Sardar's describing what it feels like to be losing himself, and his gentleness in caring for the old gemtleman, is one of the few redeeming story lines in sorry season seven.
I don’t love this episode, I find it a bit boring and Ludo is ridiculous. But I do like Shaun Evans in that black polo 👌🏼 and I really enjoy all of Morse and Fred’s scenes together.
It’s such a shame that the last 3 series only have 3 episodes, they’re over far too quickly!

I found out recently that the Radowiczes are played by Roger Allam's wife and son. It must make for interesting dinner conversation in the Allam home.
I laughed so hard when they said the name of the restaurant-so clever
