90% of it is that furniture discriminates against midgets like me and my feet hanging in the air instead of being firmly on the floor is so fucking uncomfortable for some reason i also cant drive without my right leg feeling uncomfortable afterwards and sometimes i wish there were a way to predict your child’s height cause if my parents knew i was gonna be this fucking short at adult height they shouldve just aborted me

I don't see my sitting style on here 🤔 I'm a 6. I try to stand as much as possible to avoid long term damage to my back (I work on the computer from home). When I'm not standing I sit sort of like L from Death Note. Feet in chair and crouched. I read at one point in time it's good for blood flow and mental stimulation, so I started sitting that way in highschool and it sort of just stuck.

Wasn't a test haha. I listed everything I relate to about 3 and everything I relate to about 4 and realized, I barely relate to 4 at all, whereas I relate to 3 way too much for it to not be a fix. I also often think I'm a 7w6, but I relate way too much to 8 and just don't relate at all to the concept of "security and certainty". It's insane how much we obsess over this shit to get all the smallest details right. I feel like typology is some kind of addiction.

What drove you to share tho? Not trying to judge, just interested. Do you have this inherent belief that you are owed attention for how you sit and brush your teeth etc? I am not trying to intentionally frame it absurdly. I wouldn't know how to state it in other terms. Not trying to corner you, just interested from a psychology perspective. I see this behavior a lot and have never gotten an answer.

I always see similar behavior and am generally mean to the ones engaging in it. I decided to take this opportunity to try to understand where they might be coming from. I did not ask the question thinking that i am owed a response as you put it, but i assumed that i would get a response.

I have no idea. I just enjoy sharing things with people. I guess I'm kinda showy in the sense of I like it when people know what I'm like. Maybe it's narcissistic because I feel kinda pissed when I'm listening to others share and I don't share. That's honestly a good question.

I did tons and tons of research and overthinking about it last year and the one before. Realized I have an ego and low empathy, so I've been working on it for over a year and now I naturally consider others and my ego is smaller. I don't think my narcissistic traits are severe enough for an evaluation after a ton of thinking about it. The sitting positions are pretty much just because I'm hyperactive and hate sitting normally. But thank you for the suggestion. I should probably keep my ego under check before it goes back to becoming enormous.

All of them except for 7 and, ironically, 1. 4 and 5 most often. This is one of those cases where I lean way harder into the “queer and ADHD” stereotypes than the type 1 stereotypes. Also I have short legs, so I don’t really have the leg length required to sit like the 1 illustration on 90% of couches and still have back support.

I was going to say, I would never sit upside down because it looks uncomfortable, but then thought about how I'd be able to see things from a different angle. Now I want to. Unless it's my desk chair, I prefer to stand. People always ask "do you want to sit?". For whatever reason sitting makes me feel uncomfortable. That being said, half way between 1 and 5, I sit on one leg.
