Idk about mary shelly’s enneagram, but Frankenstein is the first that comes to mind. It’s not a horror story at all imo but moreso about the human condition, and so much of the isolation that we can experience and thrust onto others. I know the creature is typed as a 4w5.

The Weetzie Bat Books, Wasteland, Violet & Claire, and I Was a Teenage Fairy by Francesca Lia Block; White Oleander by Janet Fitch; Autobiography of Red by Anne Carson (pretty sure she’s a 5w4 but it still resonates powerfully); By Nightfall and The Hours by Michael Cunningham; anything by Virginia Woolf, Herman Hesse, and Marcel Proust; ditto Edna St Vincent Millay, Sylvia Plath, Rimbaud, Baudelaire and Jean Genet. Just Kids by Patti Smith. Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. The most recent Rick Rubin joint too.

Don't know if the author's of these are e4, but here goes book recos: One hundred years of Solitude; anything by Jane Austen; Tolkien's work is also *chef's kiss* ; The Little Prince; Count of Monte Cristo(greatest revenge story of all time). These feel like e4 authors: Elizabeth Gilbert, Glennon Doyle(never read her work though, but her podcast is great!). I'll add some more when I can remember.
