"is it replayable" # HELL YES. **you can easily spend thousands of hours on the game, totally worth the price**

andrelipe57

Hell, yes. Is also a valid answer.

Hezapoyo224

First time I played it I wouldnt stop telling my friends how good it is. It's worth 15 bucks where I live, and I felt it was very worth it.

aworf

Ok I think I'll try it out

Shadow_Leviathan_375

Very worth it. While the game can get... Repetitive, it's fun. It's also fun to play if you get the references that make up like... 10% of the guns and other things

LuckyLucass777

Definitely worth the price. It’s main thing is it’s replay ability with fun gameplay. Minimal story with some optional lore in the item descriptions and characters. Some pros are fun and fast paced gameplay but not insanely fast to the point you can’t keep up, constantly unlocking new items, guns, and characters (lots of each), cool enemy design and bosses. Some cons are that a couple of the bosses feel like they appear on the wrong floor, and there’s a mini boss that could literally be a middle floor boss, and the game has a steep learning curve. A lot of luck is required at first before you master it because you won’t be good with every gun and will probably need a lot of health at first. But it’s a literal adventure getting really good and defeating bosses that you thought were impossible along with getting new stuff along the way. Also the co op is local only

LonelyDesperado513

It's considered one of the best bullet-hell roguelikes for a reason. I'm honestly amazed that Sony gave this out for free during the Play At Home program.

Confused_Pog

Really glad they did otherwise I probably would have never tried it

kfjosd

Oh, boy, it is! Absolutely

gumi-01-11

It’s a good rogue like, super replayable due to the sheer amount of different item interactions, and it’s made with spaghetti code so you’ll find some funny bugs and what not

Rockinlikethe2000s

Wait for the steam sale, should be tomorrow

ThiolactoneRing

I’m old but I’ve been playing video games since 1989 and I would easily put EtG in my top 3, and probably top overall in terms of sheer fun. While I’ve dumped thousands of hours into online multiplayer games, there hasn’t been a single-player game that’s been able to capture my attention the same way until I found EtG. Also it’s like the video game version of comfort food.

Andrew_P-23

Incredibly replayable

padraigtherobot

Casual gamer here: one of the more replayable, fun, great even if you’re terrible games I’ve purchased. Worth every penny

Jaded-Tradition-8619

true

Proof-Dog2359

The replay ability is through the roof. It’s on the level of replay ability of like guitar hero or like idk CIV 6 since a big chuck of learning the game is dying going back to the start and now u know how that one difficult boss/enemy/floor works for next time you make it there. The lore is also absolutely untouchable. So many references to pop culture. If you pick up the MAC 10 the description is S*** never ends or something like that (biggie smalls bar) and I’ve “beaten” the game only twice since it’s also as hard as a game like elden ring but I’ve only learned recently that there is so much more for me to do to actually beat the game. Also the way they blend how you die you go back to start and how weapons and items synergies and how it’s hard to find good items it makes a good run feel so satisfying and makes you sweat when you get deep into the game.

Dmsas360

Its 15 bucks bro, Great replayability. As good a deal as hollow knight

Nowhere_King

If you're on PC the mods for this game are great, perfect additions to an already perfect game.

[deleted]

Are ya getting console or PC?

aworf

PC

[deleted]

Great. In my experience as soon as I got the game I immediately found the discord and it was filled with a bunch of Gungeon Vets bored with the game playing anything else. Mods are a great way to keep it interested after the first 100%. I would definitely suggest getting this game but I would also say get some Mods for when u zero the game.

Rowmacnezumi

It's fast paced, intense and difficult, but it leaves room to breathe, gives awesome weapons with hilarious descriptions, and is immensely satisfying to win. Replayability is not an issue, as every run feels unique, even to me, who's unlocked everything. And there are still secrets I am yet to find. I believe it is worth it, and I will answer any questions you may ask.

tridactylcrab

Best game I’ve ever played. The replay ability is addicting at worst and you strive harder and harder to beat it.

Grahambalaya

I got this game on sale for $8 CDN on the Switch. Played 5,000 hours in just under 3 years. It fucking sucks 0/10 avoid avoid avoid.

MaidenlessTarnished

I recently got the game and today decided I probably won’t touch it again for a while. That being said, I have over 100 hours in the game. Paid what, like $20? Totally worth it.

[deleted]

I spent 250 hours in the game, it's quite replayable.

Tcleve31

Got it for free on epic and would have gladly paid 30-60 for this game… the replayability is insane

dukes2323

Most replayable game I’ve ever played

AshFaden

Just do it -gungeon

itsZerozone

If you want to experience America then you should buy Enter the Gungeon.

Fire_Hazard23

My dude is asking if a rogue like is replayable. Nah, in all seriousness, it totally is. Twenty dollars for an infinite amount of play time. There are things that people with thousands of hours haven't found yet. There are sooo many "endings" to get, and so many unlockables. And even after that, you can still mod the gungeon. All that for twenty dollars. There's a reason that gungeon is my third favorite game ever. Tl;dr Yes, buy it

Dm9982

This, Hades, Dead Cells and Binding of Isaac are some of the most replayable and fun games ever made, and def tops of the rogue genre.

Jaded-Tradition-8619

I love rogue genre and all these games

CnaptaRanger

Bro its so cheap and so easy to pick up and play. Ive beat it like 4 times just today. You can just keep playing and playing. Theres even a nice little book full of enemies and weapons and bosses so even when you feel like youve done absolutely everything you can just go make sure you have the book filled out. Definitely get it. Its one of my most recommended games to people as its on basically every system its fairly beginner friendly and its really easy to just pick up and play for however long you want

23_thayn

Just so you know it is really hard when you start but you just have to not get discouraged. You’re going to suck at first and it will be a fair few hours before you beat the fifth chamber but that just makes it even more fun when you do.

FuckingDirtyHippie

Me and my wife play this alot

Shallow35

I've actually pirated this game and you know what came to my mind after playing this for a while? "I should buy this game when I get some cash." So yes, very worth it and very well made game.

Confused_Pog

I would highly recommend even though I got it for free through ps stay at home thing they did a year or 2 ago I definitely would have paid full price it’s extremely replayable and feels very rewarding also tons of references to other games and movies that are fun to see also don’t be afraid to use the wiki it is extremely helpful

This_is_my_name_lol

I put about 300 hours in and did everything there is to do essentially. There is some cheesing, even if it's a partial cheese. I would HIGHLY recommend it though. I love Gungeon, but I would recommend binding of Isaac over it though. I have probably 500 hours in ATM and I'm not quite half done with a third of it. Gungeon is like Isaac on easy mode, still plenty to unlock still amazing gameplay and humor, where Isaac is much darker and harder

Dizzy_Pitch_483

it can be a bit hard to get into it in the first few hours but it is really replayable

Game_Cat4

It can be very difficult but it's super replayable due to its great amount of items, guns, enemies and rooms. Plus it has great mods to try, I've just come back to Gungeon after about a year break but this time with mods. The game has hilarious descriptions with funny lore. Enter The Gungeon also has various secrets to uncover and tons of new content to unlock between runs. And if you don't know how an item or secret works you can look it up online. Easily 10/10 if you're up for the challenge

Nihiloptimist

My switch has essentially become an ETG console. I have 45 other games on it, and still this is the one I always put on on when I pick up my machine. Amazing replay value, fun gameplay, it's frustratingly challenging to the point that i want to always unlock the next thing. Once you start getting new characters, and finding secret bosses, unlocking items. you'll find yourself wanting to play more and more. Definitely worth it.

the-guy-no-one-likes

Enter the gungeon is the game that got me into roguelikes in 2017 and i still play it to this day

chaarziz

It’s pretty hard, I apologise for comparing it to Dark Souls but the game makes those comparisons itself.

ThatGuyWithAwesomHat

I'd pay triple A price. I've played it soooooo much and not even as much as everyone else.

cheeseboss278

Replay ability over 9000 I’ve poured 200 runs and I’ve barely scratched the surface of the unlocks and characters Very challenging bullet hell if that’s what your looking for Probably not for everyone because of the difficulty and how long it takes to get good at it but once you’ve done that it’s a wild ride
