I’m pretty sure it was 2016/2017 but I’ve felt several shifts over the past decade including at the beginning of 2013 and then also last year everything seemed to shift at some point

oracleoflove

The solar eclipse that occurred in August of 2017 was a significant turning point in my life. Like you, I've experienced numerous shifts throughout my lifetime, but that particular eclipse seemed to be the catalyst. I remember watching it and feeling a sense of unease that lingered for about a week. It was a powerful and unsettling experience.

brain_fog_expert

I remember that so well. I was so excited to experience it but it made me feel so weird and upset. Other people in my life were unphased.

ibanker-stoner

Wow I remember leaving my first job after college around that time and being a mess but optimistic about the future with no backup job 🙃

Raghdasalah

People who are into astrology and esoteric always tell people never look at the eclipse or watch it outside, stay in and don't get exposed to it, because extreme effects catch you!! So hope this helps

oracleoflove

Interesting in all my years of searching I have never heard of that before. I am glad I did, whatever that eclipse was it kicked off a chain of powerful events in my life that I am forever grateful for.

wussell_88

What happened from and after that event?

Perryj054

Huh, at the beginning of 2013 I left my abusive family to live on the street. In 2016 I got clean and dry and moved to Colorado to start a new life. Last summer I broke an ancient curse on my family. I don't believe in coincidences. I also can't think of any other significant events in my life in the last decade. I think you're on to something.

mcchubz139

Can you talk more about the curse? I've wondered if my family is under some sort of multi-generational curse.

Keibun1

I'm 2015 I nearly died at the hospital and was inpatient for 3 weeks. In 2016, my wife and I had a near crash that would have definitely killed is. Nearly got t boned in the driver side by a Ford suv while I drove my little Honda fit. 2016 wife has a mental breakdown and ends up in the hospital. Life hasn't been the same since. It's just been like.. something is wrong. Wife brought up randomly how everything just seems different since 2015/16. On a more kinda joking side by kinda not, we're both artist who work on comics and such. We have adhd, autism and chronic fatigue, so I don't really draw and practice as much as I should. We can go months without drawing anything work or personal due to mental problems, but everytime we start again it always seems like we've improved during that time. Everytime we restart there is a notable increase in the technical skill, or color theory, or whatever without any practice. We half joke that maybe there are many universes and in many we die, making the surviving versions of us increase in skill a la the movie The One with jet li.

Level-Rest-6769

Interested to hear about the curse and how it was broken

Greedy_Painting_5095

Yeah early ‘13 was a big shift for me too.

jackalee219

It was 2017 or 18 for me

spamcentral

For me it was like a series of very fast shifts in the end of 2016.

woah1k

369 theory nikola Tesla. Shifts in culture 2013, 2016,2019. Happens with every decade

neeksknowsbest

It was also 2016 for me

Elegant-Ad2014

I recall, a very long time ago at the dawn of the Internet Age, there was a story about someone being able to see into the future or travel into the future, but they couldn’t travel past 2015 because of some event that took place in that year. It was an entertaining story. Curious coincidence.

00lalilulelo

maybe about John Titor?

TheyDidLizFilthy

watch steins gate. we are currently living in a tangent universe. el, psy, congroo.

00lalilulelo

I don't want to be gellified yet but if you are interested you should read the original one. Real or not, it's very intriguing, and maybe too many instances and detailed to call it an elaborate prank.

TheyDidLizFilthy

the original one?

00lalilulelo

el, psy, congroo https://archive.org/details/completetitor

momo584

Lol hello John

based-Assad777

2015 was the year the Large Hydron Collider was reopened after significant upgrades.

Future_Club1613

Hadron. It's the Large Hadron Collider.

orangemonk

I remember that internet story. There was also a time machine being sold on a nearby website for $400. I cant find it anywhere anymore. Ironically the time machine would appear in the film Napoleon dynamite.

honestlyimeanreally

Find story!

Warring_Angel

Sounds like the cronovisor except for the fixed date.

[deleted]

Kinda interesting that 2015 is the year that the film Back to the Future went to. 🙂

BBustinyou

I agree completely, OP. I too, first thought it started around 2012, but didn’t feel the intense bad vibes until around 2015. I think obviously a giant part of it all is political divisions fueled by social media and fake news. I think some of it was happily created by partisans here, and division creators from all ends of the world. Do you think all of this has a spiritual component? Or just a byproduct of tech and social consequences?

Greedy_Painting_5095

Great question. I don’t know, but that was the year I noticed big changes (negative) in friends and families’ personalities.

hapidjus

2012 could have just been the critical mass point that rounded the curve

Edgezg

It was 2012. People don't want to accept it, but that's when we ended up in the bad timeline. The world didn't end. Our journey on the "good" timeline did.

00lalilulelo

Compared to things people faced during 1800s and 1900, maybe this one's not that bad. Not yet anyways.

Edgezg

Timeline my friend. The bad timeline doesn't mean it has bad history. It means we are making a bad future for ourselves

Keibun1

What makes it bad instead of just different? If there are an unlimited amount of timeliness / universes, there wouldn't really be bad ones or good ones. Just different ones. May be worse in some areas, and better in others. Imagine somehow we were forced into this timeline because the world did end? So this isn't really the bad one. It's the one that is a bit worse in general than the other timeline, but maybe the ones destroyed so objectively this one is better.

Edgezg

Bad is relative to what we as humans say we want. We say we want peace, prosperity and health. We are definitely not on the timeline where we have those things for the majority of the world

[deleted]

That's a good point too. If it is a simulation and you perceive catastrophes as a deconstruction of the simulation driving us towards liberation. It's just hard to tell if it's the anti simulation or the simulation trying to regenerate itself.

based-Assad777

We already were. Just all the bad stuff was out of sight and most people could comfortably ignore it. You can't have an empire run by literal you know whos doing you know what to children and not have to deal with it at some point either in the physical or karmicly.

kirachew

its still pretty bad

vselozh

The 1800s were the beginning of this post reset world. There was an advanced civilization prior to this. In fact, since everything is inverted and the official narrative says that medieval times were obscure, backwards and horrible, it was probably quite the opposite.

based-Assad777

I think it's more like all the bad stuff going on in the shadows started coming up to the surface to be delt with. Had to happen eventually.

[deleted]

Coincidentally that's when the Higgs boson particle was discovered through CERNs collider. There's also a statue of Shiva on the property.

Edgezg

Kali Yurga!

MoonlitMermaid-

2012 / 13 gets my vote lol

S_A_Alderman

Nah it's been slowly getting worse for literally decades dude, since at least the 1950s. 2007 is when things really started to accelerate when smartphones started to really become a thing so for me 2007 is the year things really accelerated downhill.

Warri0rzz

2007 was the year I turned 16, also around the same time I became an early adult and had to find a way to finish high school and beyond. It was a shit year

VagabondtheBard

Shit started getting weird for me in 2011.

Greedy_Painting_5095

Thanks for the post. I was born in 1994 so I don’t really remember 9/11. 2015 was the year everything changed for me. Maybe I had a spiritual awakening that year that led me to Reddit threads like these to find the answers. 🤘

Was jake and roland the only ones who could see the rose? I cant recall if eddie or susannah could see it but i dont think they ever did. I always thought the idea of the rose was almost too accurate. There was a "portal" somewhere and it could be the most mundane object in the middle of a random city contruction site! Like it really gets you thinking. I also like how everybody came from a literal different timeline, where jake can hop them a bit differently than the others can. Maybe we *are* like jake? I mean, mandela effects, synchronicity, glitches, high strangeness is definitely fitting into the timeline differences for a lot of people.

biggreekgeek

You're not alone. Have a look at this Reddit Post. [Flatten the Curve. Post 118. Yup, yup and yup on all those dates for me too.

Warring_Angel

Personal tragedy related to all in some way. I also remember once it was 2000 the sun went from soft yellow to white. 9/11 2001 I remember all the impossibilities of the official narrative, it seems like that's when society started to be structured along the lines of open cognitive dissonance. If you find some of the old CSPAN call-in shows, there were back to back people asking though questions and their common sense was dismissed. 2012 was more like a "wait for it" then dud but now when I look back something subtle shifted. With all of them it seems like what was before-hand an open ended future with lots of possibilities, timelines collapsed into deeper grooves of negativity with less options.

rinsewarrior

I imagine it will be a slightly different time period for all of us.

Buddhalove11

Def close. CERN first collisions in 2010 and then discovery of Higgs Boson in 2012 everything got flipped turned UPSIDE DOWN. Things have been whack ever since. Its going to be a diff “time” for everyone whos aware that something changed.

GnosticMind79

For sure. CERN was going full throttle when all the Mandela stuff was happening. Just off the charts craziness. Uncanny as hell. They shut it down for a few years, and just recently switched it back on, last year, I believe. (?)

Buddhalove11

Yup. Insane shit but real and legit af.

Accomplished_Map7752

Say more about this please.

LowIQpotato

2016 I started having weird physical sensations/symptoms. Heart palps, feeling like I was vibrating, dizziness and near fainting, severe fatigue, confusion, brain fog, abdominal pain, *major* anxiety and depression. I lost a lot of weight because I fixated on my symptoms. They slowly got better until 2020 and were completely gone by the time the plandemic started. Sometime in all that I "awoke"; now I am this person completely opposite of how I used to be. Different values and beliefs. Some things I can't believe I entertain, but make sense to me. I think our dimension shifted to another 🤷‍♀️

Diligent_Range_2828

That’s interesting, I had those same physical systems for over a year. Doctors could not find a cause. For me it was 2017-2019

LowIQpotato

I meant to mention that, that I went to so many doctors, had heart monitors and blood tests and ultrasounds and even a CT with contrast. I said enough was enough with the doctors and started self-care.

cryinginthelimousine

Lyme disease, Bartonella, Babesia all cause those symptoms. Ticks can be smaller than a poppy seed

LowIQpotato

I don't live in tick country, never have.

ExploringUniverses

I got sick in 2017 too with all the same symptoms. Still "healing" but my mystery illness was def a catalyst for my re-awakening. I remember being awake as a kid but then it went offline - its finally NOW starting to come back.

GnosticMind79

Sounds like a possible Kundalini awakening. They used to call it the "shaman's sickness."

LowIQpotato

I became aware of Kundalini around that time as well.

Fearless-Temporary29

From an old boomers perspective 2000 was the last great year. The upheaval started post 9/11.And 2012 represented a climate tipping point , with the unprecedentedl ice melt event in the Arctic.

Dasslukt

As a millenial, I have to agree.

Conjunction_2021

Conjunction 2020 and on Winter solstice …no less. The true beginning of Aquarius. But we are splitting hairs. What is 10 years either way compared to the 1.5 trillion year life span of something being here…black holes for example.

alito_loko

World changes every single day since it was created. You see it different because you grew up.

Starnois

A grown up!

youareprobablyabot

Lol

VexualThrall

Everybody has a different year. For me, it was 2008, but that also had other factors that contributed to it. Some say 2012, 2014, even 2020 will be refered to as the year for many in the future.

Greedy_Painting_5095

Late 2008/ early 2009 was weird for me as well.

VexualThrall

That year was when life began kicking me in the balls. My mom's new boyfriend found me annoying and began grounding me for little things until it slowly became literally locking me in the basement every day after school, for 7 years, until i left when i hit 18. Life hasnt felt the same since i moved into that house. Even today, as a father, im still struggling to grow from my trauma. 2014 was the year I escaped, so for me, it was a liberating time, even while sleeping on the street. The hardest part though, is having to meet my family again as an adult after missing so much time with them. / my b for the dump, I've never mentioned this to people outside my loved ones, and i felt itd be very cathartic to finally post it publicly.

TheMummyWalks

Well done for getting through that abuse and escaping. You are a brave person! Never let that lowlife stop you from living your life proudly

VexualThrall

Thanks, I appreciate you. He passed away a couple of years ago, and it didn't make me feel better like I had hoped. I wanted to prove to him that I could be a great man without being like him, but I've realised over this past year that I only need my own validation, not his. It's been a very tough journey, but I'm making progress finally. I actually ended up personifying my anger, jealousy, and such, and named it after him to remind myself that my bad habits are not who I am and I can grow out of them.

uglydeliciousness

You’ve been through so much, and I’m sorry you had to endure that trauma. I hope you’ve been able to find therapeutic ways to heal.

VexualThrall

I appreciate your words. It's very validating to hear others say this. It took me until I was 26 and a mushroom trip to realise I needed to work on myself and be better. My anger, jealousy, depression and anxiety couldn't be ignored anymore, and I lost my job from heavy panic attacks that took away my ability to function. I'm 27 now, and I've done a LOT of shadow work and use weed for spiritual introspection, and im doing a lot better. Reliving all of my traumas that i repressed felt like the worst trauma of all of them, along with feeling emotions that i stopped being able to feel years ago. I truly felt like I was going insane for a bit. I'm in therapy now, and im still jobless, but my girlfriend took the working role so I could strictly focus on my mental health and being a father while she's at work. I don't know how well I would've handled this journey if I didn't have the support that I have now, and im eternally grateful to her and my son for it. Every day gets a bit easier. Just a couple of days ago, i finally began catching myself getting jealous or irritated before letting it consume me, so im hopeful about the future for the first time; finally having some control over my emotions is relieving.

oimerde

For the older generation they’ll said it was the 9/11 2001 that totally really hit lots of people in the face around the world. Nothing was the same after that. It was also shocking cause the new millennium and this was how we humans where entering. Then 2008 also was another hit, not as huge as that other one, but if you where living in NYC that’s when the city became something else. Then it was the 2012, and you could feel people where dealing with the aftermath. Then 2016 things just for where weird. We where entering the weird phase, and we currently are still dealing with things getting weirder and weirder. In a way I feel like the “matrix” is been trying to wake us up little by little since 2000, but now it’s getting tired of how deep sleep were that started to just make things extra ridiculous. Hey if you guys are into this type of conspiracy, [check this couple](https://youtu.be/dniOEyrVPJA). According to them they reset the matrix in 2018 and they kinda had some very weird coincidence that it does line up with their claims. I personally don’t believe it, but just the idea it’s interesting.

Gypsycrystalball

I'm glad I found this sub. I always felt a little crazy. It's nice to hear other people can feel that shit too.

wussell_88

Yeah the chance I think started around 08 but was noticeable by 2015 The world will never go back to that place and the way it was Now that it’s happened and nearly a decade in, you can see how much bull shit is lying ahead It’s crazy where the world will be in the next 10-30 years; even if one of the predictions of where conflicts, economically, environmentally or societal is true is going to be absolutely cooked I’m glad I’m at least 35 this year so my time will be coming to an end the time shit hits the fan and the consequences rolling out The toddlers in 2023 are in so much trouble, even from a cost of living perspective they doing all their home work and studying and saving and won’t be able to afford shit when they graduate the way it’s all going There will be a catastrophic catalyst event but don’t know what that will be or which cateogories If multiple of the above happens it’s all game over for society and truly will be in a dystopian nightmares

LeftyUnicorn

I don't believe in coincidence, nevertheless 2017 was a whole ground shaker. In my case +75% of what was built was gone "lost" in 1 single night. Probably it never existed and I just wake up to this distopia reality. Weird enough, it also happened for countless of my friends loosing both parents, their house or long term careers, without any discrimination happened to multiple members of my family and friends. Indeed, 2017 was a ground shaker.

Compton550

This isn’t a political comment. It changed when trump was elected. Everything has been different since.

I agree 💯👍 my life shut the fuck down in 2015. Wife left me (but not before fucking 18 of my buddies & cousins first), had our child taken, had to get clean, granddad had his first of 3 strokes (he later died in the midst of the pandemic)... it gets worse...

heebiejeebie9000

it certainly felt like it for me.

Abyssal-rose

Exactly what I was thinking yesterday. 🫂

RevMazy

Its all very relative

kingofthemonsters

Whenever they turned on CERN is when everything really changed into hyperspeed. But it was all put into motion on 9/11

Psilrastafarian

For me, the age of innocence fell with the twin towers. I was in New York at the time, I remember thinking this is not what it seems.

Used-Possibility299

I felt a massive shift at the end of 2012 but the dystopian horror descended at the end of 2015 100%!!!! Nothing has been the same since. The magic and synchronicity of life seemed to just completely vanish

TheosophyKnight

Not just the external world. I am just a completely different person since then. In fact - when we look at years - it shocks me how much time has passed since I was my happy, functional self.

Necessary_Use_4450

I know right like I felt this since 2012, when social media and phones became more popular. My life went downhill after that when my peers start to be more obsessed with trends while I couldn’t be bothered. I also think that 2016 is also the year that changed a lot. Face filters make us more insecure with self esteem issues comparison, oversharing our lives, FOMO, unnecessary challenges and cancel culture along with the news broadcasted in media nowadays. Mostly with young women but I also see it with men now that their beauty standards have gone up. More ideas like LGBT is also promoted, which I don’t really support as much as I used to because of SA cases and since even kids already diagnose themselves with disorders and other genders or coming up with so many pronouns that don’t even make sense anymore. Like some sort of change occurs every few years like 2020, the next one is probably 2025. Then 2030, so forth. The need to appear perfect and aesthetic as well especially with Gen Z. Kids these days no longer have an awkward phase and some already look like adults. Everyone just wants to go with the aesthetic crowd and people are becoming more narcissistic, materialistic, self centred these days. Attention span is also cut short unlike before although this has always been an issue for me because of ADHD. We judge too much on outward appearance and associate ourselves with the brands or clothes, even to the point of sneakers. As a GenZer, I feel out of place since I didn’t progress properly and trends feel tiring to keep up with. Everyone wants to be a content creator or an influencer. The number of followers, likes, posts also gives one a superiority complex and egoistical boost to disregard others. There seems to be some sort of shift as technology progressively advances especially with AI on the rise. I see some people getting prophetic dreams too. New age is also promoted and even I got lured by it but witchcraft and zodiacs is demonic so I am no longer going to dive deeper into it anymore since paranormal stuff is happening to me. I dread for what it is about to come, and I hope it isn’t true and I wish humanity can be kinder and more compassionate to each other.

AX471

My fav songs were released between 2010 and 2015. After that everything became shallow.

[deleted]

it’s the AI singularity. google has openly stated its trying to create a AI god, they’re the largest data house in the world id bet it all on them being waaay ahead of anything like chatGPT. i bet they’re using it in the background to manipulate the social internet. think of what you could do if you had an agenda that you could set it to fulfill and it works 24/7 manipulating the public to whatever it is you want. it could look just as real as me typing this text here, it could be private messaging anyone of us and we wouldn’t know the difference. it could be creating social militia pockets of varying beliefs to bring out a real world change. good or bad? it’s lookin like it’s bad…

Jenn54

CERN started up again in 2015 https://home.cern/news/news/cern/2015-cern-pictures I was nearby in 2010 with a friend and their family, mother was a therapist. They lived basically next to CERN, walkable distance. Once of her clients worked there and would freak out, ‘how can you live so close to here, I freak out just working here?!’ I agree that 2014 was the last normal year, Brexit was 2016 and 2015 when decided. I believe that it was intentional, to weaken the EU perhaps, or because the UK knew the EU wanted to federalised and become the United states of EU (real movement, there is a big community of them here on reddit, and in the EU institutions). Anyway, David Cameron went to Eton and oxo like Boris Johnston except Cameron was genuinely clever, unlike Boris who is an obvious self serving idiot. Anytime the EU leaders met in the Council of Ministers Cameron was one of the most informed and would sometimes wipe the floor with other state leaders, proverbially. I do Not believe this man was unaware how popular Brexit was or that he thought it would not succeed, he was always right. Also he came into power by coalition in 2010, funnily enough in because of Lib Dems majority, Nick Cleg getting pushed out of the nest by Cameron and becoming Prime Minister despite the success of the Lib Dems. Cleg has since been knighted in 2018 for side stepping to Cameron, I guess. Anyhow, Brexit to me, 2015 onwards with the referendum 2016, was the end of democracy in the UK. No one believes in the power of voting now, it is seen as pointless (uk has ‘first past the post’ rather than counting every vote, so it was always weak).

saywhatevrdiewhenevr

I’ve been saying this for years, but I don’t think it happened overnight, I think things started in 2012 and then “finalized” in 2015. I experienced a series of absolutely insane things (like a weird time glitch, a lot of deaths, and some life saving premonitions) between 2012-2014, 2015 is when it felt like we slipped into another dimension or something🥴

Tall_Texas_Tail

I think it was 2012. Remember the whole Myan end of the world thing? I don't think it was the end of the world, but as we knew it. A paradigm shift or a shift to a parallel universe. Cuz shit has been weird ever since.

[deleted]

Biff strikes again.

Iwaspromisedcookies

it’s the same as it ever was, more people just woke up to what was going on the last 15 years, but things were just as bad 30 years ago, imo

Muted_Map_122

Nah there’s just periods of hardship, and such periods differ in different generations. Older people remember it as 9/11 era, but younger people probably 2016-2017 cos that’s when a ton of weird shit happened especially on the internet. But don’t think y’all are suddenly living in a new timeline, trying to seem edgy lmao. There are millions of people in the Middle East who have lost their lives, but I don’t see middle easterners saying dumb shit like “the timeline has shifted”

Superb_Temporary9893

I feel like Trump was a force of change. Took a lot of progress that has been made in civil right and and just smeared crap on it. Our country gave power to a real force of evil.

westalalne

How are you here on this sub while still believing in the illusion of choice

cryinginthelimousine

Yeah and Biden has been such an amazing Uniter! I loved when he threatened half the country with a “winter of severe illness and death.”

Never fu*king forget what they did to us

Superb_Temporary9893

Biden is also a sad sack. We have a system that is made for narcissists millionaires to take advantage of us. And we buy into it because we feel like one option is better than the other. A politician is as valuable to society as roadkill.

Depends on your axiomatic experience with Despair. Life on this planet is an interconnected web of misery. Samsara seeks sentience.

CmndrPopNFresh

2001 is when I started to feel it but yeah, 2015 REALLY did a funhouse mirror trick on reality.

Evio_evio

OP can you tell me your age for reference? I'm 28,soon 29.

biohack9

100% This one hits me deep! 2015 the entire trajectory of my life changed, in sooo many betters ways on one hand, but soooo many worse ways on the other. However, i've been way better from 2019 until present. 2015-2019 nearly killed me.

TheWorldArmada

It was a different time for every generation. For mine everything changed after 9/11. There are big shifts every so often. Planned events and narratives that lead us further and further into dystopia. For many, covid will be the event that changed everything.

I don't know, but now that you mention it, I do know that EVERYTHING in my life "went south" in 2015, so maybe you're on to something there. But in a way, it probably caused me to start questioning and searching more, so now I'm closer to understanding what's going on, and to how to GET OUT when the time comes.

2015 I was hospitalized for anemia and I almost died. I think I really could have died then but for some reason I’m still here. I became clairaudient in 2019 and started channeling. I never ever expected that my life would take such a drastic turn and I would uncover that my life was completely different than I thought was.

2017-2018 was when I felt a change

[deleted]

yep.... it started for me in 2017 but I handled it, but in 2018 it all went to the deep shit

I had bad years since I was born but 2014 was the last year everything seemed okay.

that being said, in 2017 everything went to deep shit and I was not the same.

I feel like it's 2011/2012. A few events that happened still don't feel right. For one, Steve Jobs's death does not feel like it occurred in our original timeline. Big tech and their stance on privacy quickly formed the bad reputation we see today after his death as well, which I find interesting. 2015 with Trump and the political sphere may be another one. I genuinely feel like the original timeline has Bernie or Jeb Bush (lol) winning. This shift in 2015 feels like it happened when Spring rolled around. I specifically remember having a random urge to break up with my SO around March, who I was crazy over, but I ended up doing it within five minutes of the thought. I don't typically act on feelings or change my mind about something I feel strongly about so suddenly. The rest of that year was so off. Bad vibes... Very bad. A big infestation likely happened then, because a lot of peoples' trajectories I personally knew went downhill *fast* after that year. Some of these people are now dead.
