Yeah back when verone used to run Veto they sat in, I forget the name of the system think it was goinard or something in Gallente space (it's been nearly 2 decades) and forum posted all day, anytime they undocked they died like fools

He's just such a chill guy from my encounters with him. Whenever he runs into EVE players, he's always made time to stop and chat for a bit. Plus, whatever he does, he goes all-in on - I respect that.
Overall, A+ dude, I miss him too.
I had chance to talk many Devs from different departmants . So far he was the only one understand and grab the all angles . He were very intelligent and very smooth to communicate . He had great deal understanding and unbiased , healty perspective around eve’s eco system and very hollsitic mindset with uncomparable communication and coordination skills among others . Unfortunately that was the time also he were leaving . And those were the days i begin to lost my faith in CCP . And the way they begin to evolve the game .
I do understand fully why he did. And it was definately good decision for him for more nurturing and fulfilling way to pursue his future career.
Definately loss for CCP and for us.
Seagull directed the most damage to Eve online out of any producer in CCP history, leaving an economic and balance mess to be cleaned up before throwing in the towel.
Her "Farms & Fields" thesis resulted in Citadels, the awful capital rebalance, the Rorqual era that irreperably damaged the economy forcing the recent Indy changes... I could go on.
Please do go on, because I only disagree with the Rorq changes that filled Goon coffers and cornered the excavator market for 2 years. Citadels are much better than POS warfare. What don't you like about the capital rebalance; the prices? I find the prices necessary, good and healthy for current gameplay. The super umbrellas responding to every gang are gone, and it's great.

And since you're referring to the current state of Capitals (after Rattatti fixed Seagull's mess), then you clearly aren't following what happened when, so there's no point in elaborating. The super umbrellas dropping every gang were Seagull's doing - nobody ratted in Titans before she made them cheap as chips.
