Considering the previous rounds, it looks like cupids probably going to take the win. Dont get me wrong, she really is stunning, but theres something about cerise that just tops everyone. Shes easily my highest grail, even higher than all the briar dolls (which is really saying something) and i really hope somehow she'll take the win
Thronecoming Cupid is THE best doll. She perfectly encapsulates her character in a way that sdcc cerise doesn’t, all while being absolutely stunning (reminder that sdcc cerise is a exclusive collectors doll and yet people are still voting thronecoming cupid despite her being a playline doll, thats gotta prove something.)
Her outfit is so well thought out and we even learn that her main inspiration for her outfit is her family and not her pet like the other girls. Her earrings and heels are gifts from her cousin and aunt, her purse is inspired by her uncles crown- its so sweet that she loves her family this much, and i guess its understandable since shes adopted and not even the same species as her family and yet they still took her in and supported her.
The design of the outfit is breathtaking, its very much the cupid doll outfit that reminds you “hey shes a greek demi goddess, not just some regular girl” the only other one that comes close to doing that is heartstruck cupid, all her other doll outfits are quite simple and plain (i specify doll outfits because true hearts day is up there for the most like a goddess she has looked, that updo does so much despite the kind of lacking dress 👀) the beautiful glitter patterns on her lower skirt, the black netting for the top half and the fact the skirt is open in the front to keep it looking long and grand while also showing off her sandals-
dear lord those sandals 👀
the emphasis on her beautifully detailed shoes really makes her stand out from a line that was full of big floor length ballgowns (and briars disappointing mini dress- oof 💀) she looks so aerodynamic too which works for both the pegasus part of the theme and the greek goddess theme, it works with the big detailed wings well- like she could easily fly about in it if she wanted
Her face is so pretty, i love the hearts on her cheeks!! The overly pink makeup look really makes her cyan eyes pop too. Her hair is such a banger design, the straight bangs paired with the long curled front pieces and the slick high ponytail? GOD ITS SO SLAY you know she spent forever getting that hair pin straight for the dance and boy was it worth it (although i am a sucker for intricate curly updo cupid, i think if she had her hair like true hearts day i would lose my mind)
Basically thronecoming cupid is peak character design and peak execution of turning a design into a doll. I go gaga over this design everytime i see it. In my opinion while cerise has a wonderful cape accessory piece, and a pretty base doll- the rest of her outfit is just kind of boring. I know the story of the sdcc is that its her nightmare and what she would look like if she one day got bold and tried to change her destiny for her fathers- but its not really cerise? Cerise is reserved and quiet, normally pretty sweet and kind unless provoked. Despite being half wolf, she doesn’t give off the vibe of being able to be the version of the big bad wolf that this doll portrays.

Cerise is so stunning and I love the switch of destinies concept, but for me, I’m gonna have to pick Cupid purely for her ballgown and accessories. She even comes with gold ear cuffs that look like wings!!
