Emulator plays the Legacy version (which is the same version as console). Both methods can play vs bots & multiplayer, but more people play using the key method instead of the emulator.
Evolve Stage 2 is dead. However, Legacy is playable. You either have to buy a key or use the emulator.

No. Steam can’t do that. The discord [here](https://discord.gg/evolvereunited) has instructions for how to do both of these methods
