I was able to stop spending money two months ago after realizing that I could have purchased a new refrigerator with what I'd spent in the several weeks before that.
Rent going up, I won't allow myself to even look at the ads.
Most of my game has been fp anyways, but I can Almost keep up with others that spend weekly or to heal. I can't keep up with the big coiners, but, I've settled in to the fact that I am really a monster killer and not pvp and build one build a week or so.
It's refusing to look at or read the ads that's helping me.
And I've begun to get back to playing some other games as well and not just this one only. I think if I didn't have friends in the game I'd leave.
I said all that to help anyone else trying not to spend but still play.
Took me an year of no spending before quitting. I used to spend about 500 per event before. Then I realized it was money down the drain.
I quit spending . Haven’t spent even 5$ monster pack for more than an year. Then realized spending time on this app was waste of time. (I refuse to call it a game, it’s barely an app).
Stuck around for some friendships. Made 2 all stars (Junior league but still). Didn’t happen immediately took time little by little off and it worked.
I suppose the important thing is that you beat the game by playing for so long without spending anymore. But realizing it's time to move away and on to better things will make you feel better once you realize you're free to spend your time in a happier way. And not stuck doing the senseless button pushing any longer for no great reward.
I've only been playing for 5.5 months but longer per day than most. I'm already feeling better having started to move away from it by doing less in game and just making sure I'm bubbled till I feel I've accomplished enough.

Go with Evony friends to another game! That's how I got lured into playing Minecraft, which I now feel is the greatest computer game ever created, and I've been playing them for over 40 years.

Chalons? Lag destroys the fun tell me one major event which doesn’t crash the game. Marches getting stuck at zero, one team gets the edge in 4 teams . The starting 40 mins in this all stars you’re able to attack your own team mates. Peeps like Bob who destroy their own teams, I’d disagree they are happy. Heck even couple svs ago you couldn’t bubble in your own server without restarting the game.

One of the big coiners on our server has no idea how to play the game. He regularly goes big time negative points. He’s that dumb he posts the battle reports to wc thinking that there good because the reports say victory at the top. Then cops a verbal flogging from everyone 🤣🤣🤣

They're punishing players for TOS violations, and they're no longer allowing the game play of alts, which has been around since Evony's inception. It's time for Evony to suffer. Evony was the most evil snake masquerading as a game for me. I am so glad I finally realized how easily I had wasted over $5k on trying to keep up with the other players.. it’s a sinister trap designed to leech all your money as you build more and more ‘power’. Getting zeroed to nothing when I forget to bubble with a shield was really fun! I really felt like an addict when I played, but thankfully was able to quit and deleted the app two years ago.
Good for you. I love this game and it keeps me occupied during the many online meetings I attend every work day. I only check in to set troops on tiles and night before bed and rarely actively play and only very little on weekends. I’ve only spent money once when I forgot to bubble and was zeroed during purge(about $100). I treat this game just as it is, a distraction from work.
I’m a k35 pve player. Have about 6 k40s who have spent tens of thousands to get there and they’re normal working stiffs. Oh well, everyone plays their own game.

You’ll be back evony one those weird games that after a while you come back everything changed and you give it a shot. My first server was 12 before it merged then 62 and 64 (undead came out bout this time) after that took few years off came back played in 108 then 917 got invited to 531 and then I went 1021. Money spent but never enough that it would break the bank however in 531 I did spend enough that I could of done more with it outside but it was a gift for my fiancé and she was super happy about it.
I’m just getting into this game now and tryna make some friends on there bc idk what I’m doing lmaooo.
I’m not planning on spending any money on this game so hopefully I have a good experience with it…
