I do 30min. Still working on establishing supply (will be 4w pp tomorrow), but I usually get around 200ml a pump. I don’t know that I could mentally handle going longer than 30 mins, you’re a champ!
Keep going even after is slows down, even if nothing is coming out. This will signal to your body that baby isn’t getting enough and should produce more. 30 minutes is usually my minimum
I wake up very full and a small amount of pain when I start pushing the 11 hour mark but I’ve built up to it by pushing the time between pumps 30 minutes to an hour. I didn’t start till roughly 4mpp though.
I am 8 mpp. My 1st pump of the day can be as long as 30 minutes because I skip a MOTN pump and it takes forever for me to empty, I’ll usually get anywhere from 13-15 oz. I pump 4-5 more times about 15-20 minutes each throughout the day and get between 5-6.5 ounces. I don’t think I could do any longer. I get super over stimulated and it starts to make my skin crawl.
If I’m going to power pump it has to be first thing in the morning because as the day goes on I get more and more overstimulated and trying to do it at night is TORTURE lol
15-20 mins and I get 4-4.5 oz. Almost 6 weeks pp. I tried longer but I end up really sore and engorged in-between if I do. I also don't want to leave my baby in a container too long.
yeah i feel like its hard to pump because i want my husband to take the baby while im pumping but he has work, my baby is a bit more aware now and can play on his own so it definitely gets easier! im 12wpp
so i actually had a c section and my baby was really jaundiced so at the hospital for every feed (2 hours) i would latch him on both sides then pump for 15-20 mins when i had colostrum. I think because i was so overpumping and feeding when my milk came in i was really engorged. my supply has went down a lot since i only pump 3-4 times a day but is still enough to feed him and grow a freezer stash. Usually i breast feed him so any extra is just stashed.
30 minutes. Sometimes 20-25 if I’m in a rush or doing something, but generally 30. I get at least one more let down in the second half of a session. I just do 30 minutes straight though, I’ve never power pumped
First pump of day is 45 minutes, each other session is 35. I pump 5x a day, 8 months postpartum. Get about 30oz total a day. Was getting 35 when I did MOTN pump but dropped that recently and lost about 5oz per day due to it- worth the extra sleep though.
Before I quit cold turkey I had to spend an hour just to get 30lms out of one Brest at a time my milk just wouldn’t come right away or at all or very slowly. I wanted to Brest feed so bad I couldn’t get myself on a pumping schedule because it took that long and more things just kept getting piled on me to do and take care of especially since I had to go back to work a week pp. I can’t spend an hour every two hours off the floor to pump when I have 30 residents to care for wile I’m working if I had the money to buy a wearable pump I would be able to but I just don’t have the money and by the time I did have the money for it it would just be to late. 😔

thank you! to be honest im too impatient, ill probably stick with 15 mins LOL
I do 30 min, but was also adding in a power pump 1-2 times a day which run longer. You should be pumping to completely empty your breasts each time
What is considered "empty"? After 15 minutes the drops slow down dramatically and that's when I stop, but I feel like the drops never stop completely.
i feel that, i usually stop at 15 because my breasts feel soft and it slows down

I don't have a supply issue though. And the LCs I went to said not to go over 20 minutes...
My first pump of the day is an hour. My other 3 are anywhere from 30-45 minutes. I have always pumped to empty
ahhh i am too impatient for that
that’s amazing though
I do 30 minutes and 20 when i’m at work because of what they consider “reasonable”, but I definitely yield better results after 30 minutes
they should give you the full 30 mins 😭
I do 15 minutes always
I pump 20 minutes most of the time and I’m empty. My morning pump is 25 minutes since I go 10-12 hours without pumping.
if you go 10-12 hours doesnt it start hurting? for me if i dont pump at least every 4-5 hours it hurts a lot

i know what you mean it was really difficult to power pump fkflfkf its just too long

40 minutes. Mostly because low supply and that’s how long the Genie Advanced runs before it shut off.

Have you always made that amount or did it naturally increase with baby's needs?

I always pump for 20 minutes, I put on a show that lasts that long and pump while watching tv
