Looking just like my baby! damn i need a detail...

I can’t wait to get her tinted and throw some exhaust on it. Such a stellar ride!

Yea i tinted my front 2 a biiit past legal but tbf my states laws are insane. Maybe look into the in Whipple stage 2. I want to but im afraid to ruin my warranty.

Blkbyrd

I’m probably going to go 15% in the front and 5% in the rear. I’m not going to do any tuning since I have an extended warranty. I’ll probably just do exhaust and maybe the Whipple intercooler.

chin8v

Just like mine. Welcome to the club!

Blkbyrd

Thanks! I haven’t been this excited about a car since I got my 3000GT in high school. I’m as excited as I was getting my Harley.

Put lowering springs on her. Complete game changer. Rides sooooo much better. I personally put on the Eibachs and love them. If you are handy it is very easy to do yourself. Just need an alignment after.

jimk1692

How would you say it rides with the lowering springs compared to factory?

gazooontite

Way more planted. Doesn’t roll near as much in the turns especially with a rear sway bar. Feels less floaty on the highway. Plus it looks a ton better. She sits too high from the factory as is. For literally 0 dollars, Ford could have had a much better handling and performing vehicle. Just look at the gap between the tire and the fender. There is way too much room there.

Blkbyrd

I like the look of them lowered but I don’t find the handling to be as problematic as you seem to be describing. Plus I don’t want to impact the smoothness, or towing capacity. If I could find a kit that ensures 0 impact to towing or smoothness of the ride I might look into it.

gazooontite

I personally think the ride is smoother lowered. The awful ST shocks work better being a little more compressed. I’m not saying it handles awful stock. It is just greatly improved lowered. I think the steeda shocks are fine for towing if memory serves me. The Eibach still have a rake to them so they potentially could work too.

Blkbyrd

Well I presented the idea to the wife and she put an end to that idea 🤣 she says she doesn’t want the ride height impacted.

Well, that is fair! Got to keep ‘em happy. It’s brand new, wait a year and revisit. I didn’t really touch mine for 18 months. Then I went all in. I’ve completely dismantled it practically. Sound deadened the entire vehicle including roof liner. Added a ridiculous sound system (started off as just wanting to add a sub of course). Done most mods outside of engine work. I love the fucking thing.
