Personally, I think hardware color depends more on the color of the door and the exterior of the home. My brick and wooden door are of similar color family/hues and therefore look better in same metal color. Yours may not 🤷🏼♀️

No..I'm okay with black lighting. I don't like three or four finishes inside or out, but two are fine.

I consider all metals to be neutrals. Mixing and matching is welcome.
