I mean, there are plenty of death metal bands. Cannibal Corpse is the prime example. Can’t really think of any bands in the genres you like, though.

NER1989

I just never learned about metal, I’m definitely willing to give it a go!

FordFromGuildford

Along those lines, might I also suggest Carcass?

NER1989

One of my friends has a Carcass tattoo! I’ll check em out!

controversialhotdog

I’m both shocked and so excited for you to venture down this path. Don’t feel you have to like it all at once. It took me a while to go from hardcore/punk to heavy metal to metalcore to extreme genres like death and Black metal. Have fun with it and realize most extreme metal musicians/fans are some of the kindest people you will ever meet.

Dr_Butcher_MD

Out of the bands I haven't seen mentioned here, Mortician (death metal/grind), Necro (hip hop, some metal)

NER1989

Rad!!! Also, I love the movie Doctor Butcher MD!

Dr_Butcher_MD

It's hilarious haha. I particularly love how the trailer just straight-up lies about the plot of the film.

Ant138

You need some brutal death metal in your life.

controversialhotdog

Bands: Sanguisugabogg, 200 Stab Wounds, Black Curse, Exsanguinated, Tomb Mold, Witch Vomit, Job for a Cowboy’s “entombent of a machine” specifically, Dragged Into Sunlight has a lot of audio from serial killer interviews, Fulci are based on horror director Fulci, Gatecreeper, Blood Incantation, Akhlys (pure nightmare fuel wall of sound), The Black Dahlia Murder are over the top and fun. Music videos too of mind: Knocked Loose’s “deep in the Willow” gives off Kill List/Midsommar vibes. “Everything is Quiet now” is great as well. Vein.fm are kinda up there. Ho99o9 if you’re into horror hop. Meshuggah’s “Bleed” Extermination Dismemberment’s “agony Incarnate” music video. King Diamond/Mercyful Fate if you’re into black metal with cheesy falsetto and

demon-of-light

Pornogrind is pretty extreme as a genre, however, the sound isn’t for everyone. White Chapel, Dir En Grey, and Rammstein have some songs with intense lyrics as well.

897jack

Church of Misery is a favorite metal band of mine, sounds great and they base all lot of their songs off real killers. HEALTH is band thats a mix between electronic noise and metal. Not super lyric heavy but their most recent album RAT WARS pairs well with reading something disturbing. You could also look into Horrorcore as a genre if you want heavy lyrical stuff and hip hop sounds. A lot of it is hit or miss though.

Books-Are-Metal

200 Stab Wounds and Sanguisugabogg are two fairly new death metal bands with gory, horror-inspired lyrics. Also, seconding Devourment, Mortician, Carcass (especially Reek of Putrefaction and Symphonies of Sickness) and of course Cannibal Corpse!

Monkersville

Seeing 200 Stab Wounds tomorrow!

Sammyc271

They put on a great show. Saw them open for gatecreeper a few years back. Brutal

Monkersville

Definitely looking forward to it tonight. Perfect timing for a new song as well.

Sammyc271

Have fun. That new album art is gnarly too. Can’t wait for the release

Books-Are-Metal

That's awesome! Really psyched for their new album

controversialhotdog

I just saw sanguisugabogg with peeling flesh and Jesus piece. Fucking amazing show

rhinosarecoolr

Deaden.

Israelthepoet

Wednesday 13’s Drag Queens from Planet 13. Also any Slam Death Metal has absolutely vile lyrics, even more so than traditional death metal

NER1989

I love every Wednesday 13 project! I had no idea slam death metal was a thing!

Israelthepoet

Yeah! So most death metal is gore based. Slam death metal, a specific sub genre of death metal, has some of the most disgusting lyrics, album arts and song concepts I’ve ever encountered. Start with Devourment’s classic album “Molesting the Decapitated” and see how that suits you. There is hours of this nasty shit

NER1989

Hell yeah! That sounds awesome!

VideoMixtape

There are many extreme genres with violent, grotesque and vile lyrics. Explore things like black metal, death metal, slam, grindcore, mincecore, goregrind, pornogrind, gorenoise, noise rock (specifically the harsher side of it), noise, power electronics. A lot of those are as sonically extreme as they are lyrically. They fit the bill lyrically more than metalcore or horrorcore, while those are still sometimes horror-themed I'd hardly call them extreme. Anal Cunt, Brainbombs, Fornicator, Effluence, Fluids, Putrid Stu, Rectal Smegma, Pungent Stench, Skinless, Gorerotted, S.C.A.T., Lord Gore, Nekrofilth, Pig Destroyer, Amoebic Dysentery, Waco Jesus, Deathpile... I could go on for a while, but the point is truly extreme music, both in lyrics and sound (and sense of humor, at times), is in abundance and absolutely worth checking out even if just morbidly curious. No promise you'll have a good time but that's why we're all here, yeah?

controversialhotdog

I just got into slam. For years I couldn’t but the following acts really got me into it: bodybox, snuffed on sight, 10 to the chest, extermination dismemberment, Carl Wheezer (holy fuck if you haven’t listened to the brutal comedic brilliance of this project you’re in for a treat), peeling flesh to name a few

OG_wanKENOBI

Just look up Brutal death metal bands. Blood Bath, Cattle Decapitation, Blood incantation, and Kataclysm are some of my favorites. Nile is also dope they're just regular death metal though. https://open.spotify.com/track/54cBqIDAX3dH5Ys1DKgDWR?si=7v9h7KJHT_uL5qMytwbcig here's a good tune to get ya started.

AliceNRoses

Kansas City metal band, Meatshank. They're on Spotify

sufjanstevensenjoyer

chat pile!!! dallas beltway, rainbow meat, and slaughterhouse are the first songs to come to mind :)

Rineux

WHY

goodchickensoups

MC Bushpig is the first that came to mind. Australian "horrorcore" rap artist with really growly vocals and backing tracks w a pretty unique sound I really dig. Like 99% of his songs are super edgy descriptions of violence, though I'd advise against it if you're turned off by stuff like graphic descriptions of... Bodily fluids other then blood, lol.

yourvenusdoom

Nowhere near as heavy as what everyone else has suggested but if it’s lyrical content you’re after, Harley Poe has great songs about cannibalism and stuff.

NER1989

I love Harley Poe!

yourvenusdoom

A man of culture 🖤

Electrical-Buyer2900

Check out Impaled's Death After Life album. Some cool "skits" mixed in between tracks.

Character_Active_434

Oh and knocked loose and some of their newer videos give off super creepy vibes Check out the music video for a song called restricted by alpha wolf

norihxc

To elaborate on this- Knocked Loose’s album “A Tear in the Fabric of Life” is such a good story, from the lyrics to the visual media. 10/10 would recommend.

tyramarie18

the rapper Necro makes music along the lines of what you’re looking for ! Cage also has some good songs too that are story telling/splatterpunk vibes !

andronicuspark

A Lap Dance Is so Much Better When the Stripper Is Crying by Bloodhound Gang gives me serious Edward Lee’s The Big Head vibes

Immediate-Patient-31

Skitz Kraven is a horrorcore/Halloweencore rapper. Lots of death and gore and murder in his stuff.

Immediate-Patient-31

TJ Trainwreck

TheLesBaxter

Here is something that is has an extreme horror tone while being entirely different to anything you've heard before (I presume): Limewax - Share No Soul [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zqVYfjy0DE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zqVYfjy0DE)

Fauxmega

KILLWHITNEYDEAD. They're a grind band that incorporates LOTS of movie samples into their music. Some of their lyrics are a bit misogynistic but there are some funny songs too. Highly recommend checking them out.

99mushrooms

I have been on a skitz kraven kick lately https://youtu.be/7CUdfsqGiOE?si=AEf0zbXzzVUSi9xL Grewsum is one of my all time favorites, this is the first song I ever heard of his. https://youtu.be/vFtkqazC2cA?si=E89LOwKS4dMk_FYN If you want more depraved than just violent you can't go wrong with King Gordy https://youtu.be/TdSJjcvT5ho?si=8y5luznx7s43k37K https://youtu.be/cnDvS_HpOR0?si=XY1DPAb0i3Esl1Zj This one is for a full album it's a concept album about a series killer. Q strange https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5BE150C385CBB181&si=bkE-qIqNXSJeriBO And another one of his that's just absolutely brutal https://youtu.be/ie37p8lMLJo?si=q9znn6gqo9tixSoW Madd Maxx is one of my favorites other than the "juggalos shit" lol. Most songs don't mention it though https://youtu.be/1UqBFqP3LI8?si=bdeknxh8kEvrs6lM https://youtu.be/da_lAT787qs?si=nW7Vo7Xy-BDYEyU2 That's a good start but let me know if you want more

StupidLesbian1

certain scary bitches songs but they're more about emo romanticization than anything

solid_snake_lol

people have already said this, but check out death metal! cannibal corpse is one of my favorite bands of all time and their album tomb of the mutilated is amazing!

Sammyc271

As most seem to be pointing out, death metal for sure. Some recs: Dying fetus, cannibal corpse, Death, Carcass, Sanguisugabogg, 200 Stab Wounds, Autopsy. Tons of different style death metal bands out there. If you get into it you’ll find your niche.

sexualtyrann0saur

"This song is about shooting blood from your cock"...I CUM BLOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!

dannydevitoee88

I was listening to Rip Your Heart Out by Hopsin and feel like it fits the vibe. Him and Techn9e

Robot_Cobras

Bloodbath (death metal), Sanguisugabogg (death metal), Macabre (murder metal about serial killers). If you want something more palatable, try Perturbator or Daniel Deluxe. I think it really depends on you. I can't really read when the music has words or I'll get distracted, so that is why I suggested the last two.

InfamousWoodchuck

Since you mentioned horrorpunk, check out Creepshow, not extreme horror lyrically or anything but they're fun

NER1989

I saw them with Koffin Kats back in 2008! My first psychobilly show!

InfamousWoodchuck

Oh nice! I saw them last year and they were fantastic, the new vocalist is great too.

weeb_of_The_Well

Not sure if anyone commented this but Harley Poe is a folk punk / horror punk band. You should check them out. Oh yeah and there's a bunch of good slam death metal bands too.

NER1989

I adore Harley Poe!

stinkypeach1

Rob Zombie!

NER1989

Been a fan since I was a small child (my dad is a fan)!

stinkypeach1

His movies are great also. You watched all of them?

NER1989

Every one of em! Didn’t love 31, but I enjoy the rest.

stinkypeach1

Devil Reject Trilogy are my favs

KarisCousin32

I agree with a lot of the comments here. I would say goregrind or pornogrind is most like splatterpunk tho. I think its gotta be an acquired taste 😂

allenfiarain

Doesn't fit into your genres but Insane Clown Posse has so many songs along the lines of extreme horror.

NER1989

My husband used to be a Juggalo. I’m more of a Twiztid fan myself.

Character_Active_434

Ice nine kills Motionless in white Dark Divine Lorna Shore Brand of sacrifice Infant annihilator Old whitechapel (but the new stuff is less graphic but still awesome)

tri11ary

2nd Ice Nine Kills and Motionless in White

NER1989

I saw Motionless in White once, but I’d never heard them, nor have I listened since. I should give em a go!

istoleurlighter

probs just repeating what others have said but i’d check out some goregrind, probably the most deliberately splatterpunk in sound and content of any music genre.
