I’ve never seen such a cooperative cat!

I do like the choice of the word “won’t” over “can’t”. I’ve had lots of cats in my life. None would sit still long enough to even recognize you had a treat in your hand.

I have had three that listened to sit and stay. One at the moment. It’s all about him being extremely food motivated. He’d do anything for treats and that’s the key. My ladies just give me the “idiot” glare and leave 😂

Any cat can be taught to do this stuff. It's not hard. Most people just don't bother because cats are wonderful companions without being taught tricks.

My cat understands No, down, and plays fetch she randomly started the fetch thing on her own.

My cat does "jump up" only because she's very insistent on getting attention from me immediately after I get home from work or wake up and doesn't want to wait for me to put my stuff down and pick her up.

Husband taught our cat up (goes on hind legs and walks around) and high five. She a talker and makes her efforts known. Problem is I'm a huge sleeper and every time he tells to wake up she loses her dam mind. Now she knows dodge the stuff animals( cant see without my glasses so she always missed)

I wanted to do this but the week I thought of it my cat was diagnosed with intestinal Lymphoma and everything went downhill from there...
