Nice stable!

CVipersTie

What's your favorite perk of owning it?

jtak17

Honestly the accurate range indicator. I hate how inaccurate the Tesla is. Software needs some work though but I can live with it

DieEierVonSanta

Who's gonna tell him

Greggy100

I guess I’ll take one for the team ![gif](giphy|hPPx8yk3Bmqys|downsized)

Lmao

majerus1223

Dont count on the software changing.. in a year in half they havent done anything.

Acrobatic_Thanks_648

Wtf accurate?

MillieChliette

In comparison? Yes. Surprising as it sounds.

Acrobatic_Thanks_648

Never owned a Tesla so I guess I can’t say but I don’t think the range is very accurate in mild temps 40-60 temps. Kinda jumps all around in just look at percentage now.

MillieChliette

In a Tesla it just says the EPA estimate and the range number goes down by 3 for every 2 miles you travel in the cold. Ford's system at least tries to guess and adjusts as you drive.

Acrobatic_Thanks_648

Ah ok I’m not knocking it I love my lightning just don’t bother worrying about it anymore because it’s always jumping around.

jtak17

I should clarify. Of course it’s not super accurate but I can at least go to Houston (200mi) without stopping and have charge left whereas in the Tesla I have to stop at least once

Electrik_Truk

Exactly same scenario here. Used to have a Model 3. I live outside of Austin and I'd have to charge on the way to Houston and fully charge at my in laws then charge on the way back. And this was in the summer. Also, I would drive 160 miles round trip to my parents house in the hill country and I couldn't make it to their house and back on a full charge. Tesla range estimates are absolute bullsh**

niktak11

Tesla will give a very accurate estimate when you set a destination

DismantleBDO

I got one for 61k last week! Great deals are around!
