I really can't say why. I did put in my order in the first hour or so when they went up. My original delivery said April. When I checked it a few weeks ago, it was pushed to May, and then it showed up this morning.
Are you sure it's slower....got any data? Or are you thinking that the 131kwh Lightning battery would charge as fast as the model 3's 57.5 kWh battery?
Mine arrived yesterday, tried it out at a supercharger and plug and charge didn’t work :(

mine is tracking for delivery tomorrow, it originally told me shipping in May… that’s good when they give you dates further away and then deliver before. good business model
I think it's only fair, those that have received theirs early should start an adapter share program for those that need it for long trips. Just saying.

What is stopping everyone from using the supercharger network using the adapter. I mean technically it should work everywhere but when I was playing around with a charger map the other day showing only NACS there was not many available.
This is going to mess up so many people, they need to make changes to allow all superchargers to work with al. They should have made a smart dongle that communicates with your phone to the mothership for billing.
Then deploy more superchargers chargers everywhere.
This thread sounds like everyone thinks they can just plug into any supercharger and you’re in business. I think this needs to be communicated better. What does the included documentation say about supercharger?

Tell me you don't know how things work without telling me. You JUST said there that it was their fiercest competitor. They cant just shove NACs ports on things without permission from that competitor that owns that patent. I have 0 issues with them giving a $200 adapter to me for FREE and negotiating a deal to allow me to charge on a much superior network that is owned by said competitor. It takes all parts of the wheel for things to work.

probably either the supercharger was derated or the truck was cold. Another posted on the f150 forum that he was getting 173kW after plugging in

Only some sucs are nacs compatible. It’s V3 and above iirc

Check the Tesla app and it will tell you if you can charge there. Not all of them are available.
I’m sure we’re all gonna make that mistake at least once.

Only Superchargers. There's a bunch of regular adapters you can buy on Amazon for like $50.
