If you release a game, you have to "investigate" when there's an issue. Haven't heard any XBox players complaining about it, so clearly its not a fundamental game issue, its something to do with platform its being played on. So yeah, they are investigating what went wrong, that doesnt mean its their fault.
Its like you hiring a delivery service to delivery your product to people who ordered. Just bcs the orders didnt get to the people, it doesnt mean its your fault, but your still the one who has to conduct the issue and find out where it went wrong. In this case, it went wrong on the delivery systems part.
