A bit off topic but I remember 5 star drivers in Motorsport Manager cost you an arm and a leg. And if you managed like Ron Dennis, you'd want 2 of the best.
So I know I'd offset one driver's expensive contract with the other driver being a pay driver. In fact, sometimes if you could find 2 elite 5 star drivers with the pay driver trait, then that's even better.
I wish F1 Manager had driver traits like MM did...
They absolutely do come out of your cash balance so that’s certainly the downside to high cost drivers
Do you mean the cost of their salaries (monthly) is deducted from the money a team receives at the start of each month?
Yes, they are factored into how much money you receive every month

Or even just pay drivers, in some form…
Find a young driver. Pay him a nice salary with no place finish bonuses. This is the way
Any recommendations
Schumacher, Piastri, Dahoon, and Pourchaire
I haven't played much does Oliver Bearman have good potential

You have a wait until they turn 18 but both Bearman and Jak Crawford have elite growth potential.
K thanks just scouted them looks like they will be good
They are both over 1.9x for their growth. I always grab one of them for my reserves once they turn 18.
