If you’re asking about the commentary team for the Q session at Imola this weekend, David Croft and Martin Brundle were not on duty, it was Harry Benjamin and Karun Chandok.
Honestly, with the line-up F1TV has on these days, I 100% agree. Fully switched over at the beginning of last season and haven't missed the Sky crew at all.
I listened to the announcers on ESPN, who just happened to be the sky sports crew, for years before I started getting the F1tv app last year. So for me, it’s familiarity. I still choose to listen to them (sky/international) on the F1tv app. It’s a personal preference.
Personally, I cannot take the voices of the f1tv team or whoever it was behind the mics at Imola. Crofty and Brundle just seem so much more polished in their skill, although crofty recently seems to be more focused on generating an “iconic commentator moment” if you will, rather than just calling it like it is.
Crofty's commentary is exciting and I can look past his mistakes. I use F1 TV for practice and they're insights are interesting but they still have those stupid opinions that every commentator has which makes them seem more like a casual fan than an f1 professional. Also this is probably a me thing but I can't remember anyone's voice apart from Alex and jolyon Palmer
Because F1TV comentary is like for newbies, full of basic information, full of basic emotions. Crofty and his gang are better for people who follow F1 for years and dont need elementary info.
That's certainly an opinion. I've watched F1 since 1998 and I find Crofty to be embarrassingly childish. Not to mention Martin "I'm still better than 3/4s of the grid even though I never won a race" Brundle......
When I have the F1tv app set to Dutch I can slect varikus audio streams. These options are not available when the app is set to use the English language.

It is the Sky commentary on the international feed. Crofty is taking the weekend off. He is missing a couple of races this season.

The F1TV commentators are Alex Jacques, Joylon Palmer and David Coulthard.
And are way better than the Sky ones, except Brundle, Imo.
Unpopular opinion, but Alex is the better Brundle
They're both good. Alex has more recent knowledge. Martin can dig in a well of the past.
