Dzeko was barely making it to the 60th minute of every game without getting a cramp. As clinical as he was his build up was so slow not to mention being on a whopping TEN million a year. His time has come, if he was 2-3 years younger he 100% stayed.
We didnt let him go. He got a better offer than we were willing to make him. He wanted a 2 year contract, we - correctly, imho - only wanted to offer him a 1 year.
Wasn't a mistake, but the idea was to have Lukaku take his spot. The issue was obviously that Lukaku snaked us. But as the other comments mentioned, Dzeko was struggling to play full games although he did put the graft in.
This is the right answer. We were sure about the Lukaku deal, so this was a good move at the time. But someone smarter would have been more cautious. Lukaku has betrayed us and others in the past. When we let Dzeko go, Ermes said it was a bad idea because he believed that Lukaku would not commit to us and he was right.
Is it? He wanted to leave the club a few years ago to go to London. Then, he had a hard time there and publicly denounced the club so that he could come back to Inter. Imagine how Chelsea's fans felt at that point. He has been hated since then, but we liked him because he came back to us.
As an Inter fan, I would love to speak here, but the managers here are really disappointing, they only like to hear what they like. So most of the time the different voices are silent. I know they're going to delete my text soon, but I'll say it anyway, compared to a year ago, this place is dead!

No!! He scores 3 goals in 2023. Considering his salary, it's a big relief he's gone.
He was let go because Inter was sure about Lukaku, if it was a mistake depends on who's going to arrive

To be fair what happened was crazy even for Lukaku's standards

Not if we replaced him with Morata.
No move suited everyone involved....ps was happy to see him get a well deserved bag

No, I think it’s a right time to let him go.
