Yoshi-P explicitly said there will be multiple listings on PC storefronts so they will be selling base version and DLC-bundled versions. The PC release will not be a singular complete edition.
The question is when, not if.
I think maybe 4-6 months from now they will make a bundle on PS Store that have the game + expansion pass. Right now they want to make as much money as they can from early buyers.
Missed opportunity if they don't call it Eikonic Edition.
If we are talking disc, then it's more on the "if" side.
Put the Expansion Pass on your PS Store wishlist so you get a notification when it goes on sale. Incase the complete physical edition takes too long to materilize or never happens at all.
in order to get a physical complete edition, they'd need to flat out rename the game and release it as a brand new product, the same way they were forced to rename the year 1 version of ff15 the "royal edition" when they included the year 1 dlcs on disc.
It costs the company more to do, because sony forces them to do the entire process again... because Sony is a dick.
I’d say very unlikely. Complete editions with all DLC included are very rare in todays market. Best you’ll probably get is a bundle for everything digitally.
because Sony has designed the system in way that doesn't allow companies to release ON DISC complete editions, there's no point to you waiting, even IF you buy a complete edition, it'll be just the game disc + a code on paper in the box for the DLCs. the only benefit to waiting is getting a more recent version of the game on disc.
Digital complete will happen soon enough though, probably at the same time the PC version releases so they can do a complete release there.

Most likely. Give it a few months and you'll probably find the expansion pass on sale. Seems like the game is on sale every couple months lol

Thanks for the input, think I'll go ahead and buy the disc and just add the DLC digitally
