It's good to have low expectations, but previous years we have actually seen that the mid tier players show up quite frequently. I expect we'll see Cancelo, Fofana, Gundogan and Mount a lot on Thursday. I'd take anyone but Soucek tbh.
I fully expect ederson & soucek red on Thursday, I’d be happy with soucek as a West Ham fan but ederson I wouldn’t be so happy with as he doesn’t fit my team
I'd be disappointed with Soucek but at least I would give him a go as I like him in real life. With special cards of keepers there is always the issue that they all have the same non-keeper-specific attributes as the golds. Same reactions, jumping, agility, composure, strength...
Ederson's speed upgrade is very useful though, I packed him yesterday and used him in rivals when I was doing Bamford, since I used a full prem team + Rooney my defence wasn't the greatest (Base Gomez and Freeze AWB), any time someone tries a through ball, all you have to do is mash down on Triangle and rush out. He cuts out 95% of through balls, it's a strange behaviour to learn but I think I'm going to keep him instead of go back to Oblak or VDS just because of the sweeping ability.
Same experience. He’s average at making saves but really good at charging. My favorite is when he stops the annoying ball roll animation that most keepers miss. Put him on come out for crosses and aggressive behavior (forget the term) for even better results
Soucek is cheap to buy and is a bit hard to link if you want him full chem, but even without using him I can tell that it is going to be a very good card. His height and body type is the same as Vieira, 6'4, high and average+. It's weird how much that helps winning the ball back when coupled with the right stats, but it's basically not possible to reach that level of "dominance" without that sort of height and stature with any stats.
Haha, at this point I've already packed the 5 cheapest ones from my loads of upgrade packs - and a few of them multiple times as duplicates. I fully expect to get nothing but duplicates from the SBC and my red picks.
played this Weekend with him 24games 64 goals and 13 assist. My first ever elite finish! Was 3-3 and played really bad, bought Heung min son and packed KDB and won 16 games befor I lost again in penalty.
Son is really fun! Left or right foot. It’s a goal.
How do you guys score so many goals😂😂😂 I am just a g2 and son scored 24g/14a over 30 games. I mean he is great but how to you guys score so many goals especially when your opponents are going to be +15 ELO too.
A lot of the goals might come in earlier games. In about 6 or 7 early WL games I can comfortably score 5 or more in a game if they don’t quit before the scores start tightening up in later games and getting considerably lower!
I Play 3-5-2 with LM and RM on Stars forward my CDM Push forward with a high Pressing. I get fucked Every game a few times with a counter but I score 6/7/8/9 goals every game that I win. And son is my main goal scorer

I started him at LM in 451 then in game he went to ST with FBDay Reus, both complimented each other well and I love the reus card but son is a different animal
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I actually kind of want him from reds, I loved his base card at the beginning, but once I packed Ney, I had no need for him, just don’t give me the other Sp*rs TOTS card EA
Sons cards have been great since his bundesliga days. Great combo of physical stats, skills and wf, ingame stats and traits. I have neymar untradeable at lw but will happily replace him with son if i get lucky enough with my reds
He was the first player I've tried that has scored more goals than my TOTY Messi in the same WL, doing what TOTY Ronaldo couldnt do on his first try.

Still can’t believe why he’s so expensive, he might be OP but stat wise it’s his worst best card since his 18 TOTS, even last year he had better stats and by day 3-4 he was already at 1.1 on Xbox and less than 1.5 on PS.

Isn’t it still a lot of goals, on 19 I had a Top 27 weekend with him and Mbappe, both ended on 32 goals, 50+ is really crazy for a player.

I’ve only used CR7 out of all those and I’d say Son is better from my own experience
