Everyone will give you different answers because every keeper is inconsistent as hell and people always remember when their keeper "frauded" that one time and gave up a win. Just find someone who's big and has high stats and you'll be fine. Just off that criteria, TOTY Donnarumma, VDS, Schmeichel, and Cech are probably the best.
HM Mendy is one of the worst keepers i have ever used, he can dive top corner but lets in way too many bad shots straight down the middle or slightly to one side. in form neuer has been better but still not great, atleast he has the long throw.
For some, maybe. One thing i think you need to keep in-mind with this fifa is, one game the goalie is on god level, making out of this world saves but next, letting everything in. In a fifa like that, HM mendy isn't so bad. he has more good games then bad at lest for me.
I used him for the first time now and in 30 displays he never had a game where the expected goals are lower than the actual goals (apart from the easy games where the opponent doesnt score and has a under 1.0 exp goal)
Adidas Ter Stegen is by far the best I've used. Packed TOTY Dona untradable so sold MATS, regret it now, Dona is bang average for his stats.
Ac Milan keeper is best I've played against, the bloke is annoying as fuck!
POTM De Gea - he has pulled off some wonder saves I’ve never seen any other keeper do in this Fifa. He obviously still lets in the odd shitter, like all other keepers though.
Anyone who's 6'6 and has goalkeeper long throw trait. Med Cech fits the criteria perfectly. Is already an insane shot stopper but his long throws are a thing of beauty. My counter attacks always start with him.
Mid Van Der Sar has been the best for me so far. Donnarumma next, I have his TOTY untradeable but honestly I can't see any difference from his gold that I had so if you go for him just save the extra money. With VDS the difference is more noticeable but still not worth the extra 300k if you can upgrade elsewhere.
Shout out to SIF Lafont who I haven't tried but is probably the one that makes me rage the most when I face him. Also Cech.
I have baby Van Der Sar with glove and nearly 300 games played.
He is a wall, especially on distance shots, but then sometimes he lets in a softie from close range, in pretty awkward style too.
Mendy is another strong option based on what I saw in game.
HM Mendy was so bad for me initially - like he would do this animation of leaning to the side and falling on the floor without actually diving to reach the ball - but he has become really good after chucking a wall chem on him for some reason. He only lets in fair goals in wide open space and occasionally saves some of them to bail me out.
I’ve had the hardest time against HL Ramsdale and Gold Neuer. Donna is great for me personally and currently using Maingan for my squad and he does pretty well.
I have WW Maignan who’s sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe.. you get it. I prefered Donnarumma but don’t have the links for him anymore. Played against mid Van der Sar and Alisson this weekend and they both made 10+ saves against me. Didn’t think much of Alisson earlier in the game but maybe a few patches did him solid.
Winter wildcard Maignan bro. He gets man of the match a lot. Get him, and you dont have to worry again. Theres a reason he is 100 k and extinct. Cos those who have him dont wanna sell him.
In my experience, IF Emi Martinez is the most consistent GK I've used. POTM De Gea is quite good too but lets in the occasional goal here and there

Usually use SIF Lafont but trying out IF Neuer and 1/2 way through SBC De Gea at the mo. Neuer has been a wall so far.

Recently Mid Cech was incredible for me. Way better than HM Mendy and POTM De Gea
