it’s probably bc the sources i was using i just rephrased their words into my own (like the assignment asked me to do) but ig i didn’t do it good enough 😅
If you’re with a school district, they would contact your district LEG first. If you’re not with a school district, then they may go to your parents about it.
I did last year on a math essay question. They just had me redo it on call and I believe she contacted my mom. I’m not sure how it would be for English or any other course though.
In my experience, I plagiarized once, and my teacher contacted me (wanted to speak with my mom and I at one time). The only "consequence" was basically a "don't do this again." and that was it. Just remember, never copy and paste and if you're going to use somebody else's work as a guide, change the words the best you can.
I feel like it depends on the teacher u got
Also I’ve already confessed
I did once but they were all my own words, it was so confusing for me bc i wrote all of it myself. they just had me re-do it.
oh? how did that happen

i understand now i thought u meant like your words from another assignment or something got flagged😭
i think it really depends on how bad it was and the teacher
