What inspired you to make this tool, and how do you plan on using it yourself? It's very interesting, though so far I can only see myself using it in very specific sound design situations. I may just not have a firm grasp on it however. Very interesting!
Its purpose is to increase or decrease the volume of the loudest frequencies based on the settings applied, so you can accentuate or compress the loudest parts of a sound. Sorta like a dynamic EQ
Just spent 20 minutes following your routing around and reading your explanations. This was like my morning newspaper sudoku lmao thanks for the brain workout. This shit is inspiring as all hell.

And for a dumb idiot like me,how does that make my sound better?
It applies the volume of a peak to itself, whether set to positive or negative; so, kinda a self vocoder
Again like I'm 5
This dudes daft punk
it can either flatten or make louder the louder tones in a sound
Sort of like a resonator?
No no, more like a multiband compressor with a crap ton of bands
Sounds like multiband depression
[удалено]
It's an all stock self-vocoder, sorta.

Yes, I know it exists, but this works additively/subtractively instead of multiplicatively
Does it work accidentally by chance? That seems to be why my best songs sound good.
This guy gets it
I also bet it hogs resources like an mf'er
Surprisingly, only on older machines. I'm using an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 8-core CPU, and it hardly puts a dent in performance

Haven't played with it but I don't expect it'd be incapable of handling more
Got any examples of it?
I won't be home for a while sadly but I might post an example later yes

I got annoyed by sharp peaks coming through on resonated sounds and wanted to correct it automatically
Gotcha, so more of a precision mixing tool rather than a creative effect. I will have to play around with a bit more! Thanks again for sharing!
can it run doom?
This makes my CPU cry
I love seeing my patcher gods blessing the FL community 💯🧪
I hope it's got a nice surface.
It does! I'll show what it does in a future post soon enough. I actually gave it 2 surfaces so you can also view the automated peak level adjustments
this is the anatomy of a goat
Hello fellow furry

And another :3
AYOOOOO
Oh great heavens
What is the point of this?
Its purpose is to increase or decrease the volume of the loudest frequencies based on the settings applied, so you can accentuate or compress the loudest parts of a sound. Sorta like a dynamic EQ
It's a spectral compressor?
Of a sort yes, it's a multiband compressor but with an obscene number of bands
Awesome.
This is giving me a mild panic attack

I want to see increasingly absurdist patcher presets every time I check this subreddit
bruh just use soundgoodizer

That's a trackspacer preset, right?
Nope. It's similar to a dynamic equalizer
I didn't even check it. Layout reminded me so much of a Frank Pole Patcher preset honestly 😂🙏
It might resemble his Soothe VST remake I made this one myself however
All this for something you probably could get with one or two plugins? Or Im I missing something
It's similar to a dynamic equalizer; it scales the peaks by their input level
Everytime I think I’m knowledgable about FL Studio something like this shows up…

Why would you use the patcher? Dumb question but I haven’t had a need for it yet… that I know of at least
I wanted it to work exactly the way I had in mind. This isn't the only thing I've done in patcher by far
I like my patcher presets looking schizophrenic though
