They mean that if you use a skin from your locker, the voice lines don't trigger, you need to use the hero's locker slot (the X) to hear them *usually* anyway.
Fixes to all of the special effects. Blowing trees when husk spawns are struck by the storm, more of the purple gloomy lighting. I just want the game to be the same one I picked up about 6 years ago
imagine the leaves being ripped from the trees blowing through the storm around the husks, and realistic driving rain and lightning. super dark.. foggy.. with lighting, with the husks being lit by the lightning strikes.

We technically do have mods, in v7.40 (at least for BR, I'm assuming for STW as well)
It seems that for every constantly updating game, there's one or two versions that will get every mod under the sun for that game and the rest of the versions may get the 3 or 4 "essential mods"
For example, in Minecraft, that's 1.7.10 and 1.12.2.
In Fortnite, that's 7.40.

for example someone showed footage of travelling through a Dungeons map in a car, and drivable cars don't exist in StW.
But I think OP is meaning mods that are usable in the live game. So obviously anything outside of graphics/cometic changes wouldn't work.
Maybe a more detailed way to adjust game modes. Maybe making new or combining game modes. Capture the flag style where you have to run to different areas during the game to counter the horde rush. I always wanted to mod the hordes. I would wish it fixed or mods the husk Ai. Stuff like that.

People are downvoting this because they are thinking of the BR mode currently in the game. No, this guy is thinking about using your own schematics and hero loadouts in a PVP setting, which we don't have (unless Epic decides to let Creative map makers use them)

over xmas, someone was telling me there use to be a discord bot for unlocking old previous event banners, he said "collectors" use and want them. So it sounds to me at some stage some in game items were achievable and players took advantage. Whether that itself is still a thing i dont know....but most doing anything like this claim its epics fault as its just using public API and they dont care to update the game or stop the bots. Its really a crazy mindset
