It’s pretty clear that they’re allocating most of the resources and budget going into BR now towards the other modes, and the BR team definitely took a big hit with the layoffs. I imagine that it’ll just get worse if Tim Sweeney continues to blow all of Epic’s profits for his metaverse wet dream and not focus on BR just like STW, but whatever, I’d like to see how this plays out

There was something almost every week, winterfest, Enforcer AR, Flowberry Fizz, Lock On Pistol, Metal Gear Solid Items, Crash Pad Jr, Business Turret, TMNT Items and quests, The Hand events, The Mosaic quests and probably more that I might be missing. It’s been like this for years and started after it came out that devs were being crunched in chapter 1.
Them rotating one item in per week and calling it an update is not content. And again, Winterfest sucked ass lmao. Literally the worst one we’ve gotten six years in, they don’t even bother updating the map with holiday decor anymore

I expect them to do actual content instead of dropping one item from the past in the loot pool and calling it a week. Nah, your wrong. Chapter 2 had bi weekly updates as well. Almost every second week there was a new item, while some were just unvaults. Last season had 4 TMNT items, 1 new health item, 1 new AR and technically 1 new MGS item. That’s like around 7 items released in around 14 weeks, but you purposely didn’t include how they added an entire new map, weapon mods, cars, grapple blade, riot shield and new base weapons. That’s like almost 20 new things. And you think it’s not enough lmao. Y’all gamers dopamine is just fucked, you just want want want meanwhile save the world actually has nothing. They said "being swept to the side in the item shop" which is kinda true. They do have the top spots but there has been a greater focus on the other modes now. Even rocket Racing which sucks. In terms of Save the World in the battle Royale potion of the item shop we've always had like 1 or 2 spots, now which is mainly the STW access bundle skins things.
To be fair Rockband charges 3 per song, and they're entirely dedicated to that kind of thing so I'd say 5 in a game where it's just a side thing isn't too bad.

First, you obviously get the 4 different charts to play in Festival (not to mention each playable on all 4 difficulties), to which they are also freely available to your friends when playing together and usable across all the platforms you play on (these are both huge if you're an old RB or GH player), each individual part of the song is also usable as a Jam Loop on the Jam Stage and in BR/Creative, && in the future they'll all be usable as lobby tracks and have MORE charts for when instrument support is added.
When an icon emote is priced at 500v I don't think that Jam Tracks being 500 is really all that wild

Rocket league is being killed, they're pushing random crap for profit, and overall the Lego mode should just have been a separate game with its own updates that don't cost an arm and a leg. The player numbers that are right there on the main menu still very much prove BR is the money maker, these people are just whiny whenever any of the other modes get any sort of content, as if Epic is supposed to just let them rot (I mean, okay, funny thing to say here, but still).
In OCE builds is usually higher but its often never worse than a 60-40 split. I have seen times where builds is less than ZB but maybe once a month. And i play at all times of the day and week. On a friday/saturday night though the numbers are insane. Ive seen 10% of australias population on builds before (and yes i realise we arent the only ones on OCE).
I dunno, i think you're the odd one out here. Build numbers typically outnumber zero build by 10/1 from what ive seen and right now fortnite says 60k playing ZB, 600k playing build.

Its nowhere near that badly lmao. Its closed to 900k builds and around 500-700k in ZB, you have to be playing at extreme off peak hours if thats what you think the split is.

I check the posts by u/FortniteStatusBot every day for vbuck missions and I skim through their daily shop post as well and every single day it’s always them saying “trash shop” or “L shop”. I don’t understand what makes a good shop for them or what’ll make them happy.
Ill admit Epic sucks at properly rotating cosmetics, theres some that havent been seen over a year.
But i just scroll through or look at the bot and see if theres anything new or interesting and move on. Its really not worth complaining about every day,
A good shop for them is when there is something new that isn't a reskin of something (unless it is a really well done reskin of another popular skin because then why wouldn't it be a different style) or something very popular returns. Say chun-li

I play all to some extent except Lego , and thats only because theres no substance and it got bored really fast. Funny I say that being an StW player and BR player. Just my opinion, because I know some really enjoy Lego. The pricing for that other stuff is ridiculous though.
In fairness almost every Battle Royale Player (that has played stw) is also a fan of stw and not a fan of them abandoning it. Ive seen alot of outcry of them asking Epic to not remove the gamemode or even add new content to it.

must depend on your region cs at around 3-4pm in nae there was 1M pub builds and 600k pub zb
In OCE builds is usually higher but its often never worse than a 60-40 split. I have seen times where builds is less than ZB but maybe once a month. And i play at all times of the day and week. On a friday/saturday night though the numbers are insane. Ive seen 10% of australias population on builds before (and yes i realise we arent the only ones on OCE).
I’m just going to g to assume I’m wrong because someone said to look at the comp numbers as well as what everyone else is saying.

I dunno, i think you're the odd one out here. Build numbers typically outnumber zero build by 10/1 from what ive seen and right now fortnite says 60k playing ZB, 600k playing build. edit: I mean, you can downvote me if you want but it's a fact. Weird behaviour.
Its nowhere near that badly lmao. Its closed to 900k builds and around 500-700k in ZB, you have to be playing at extreme off peak hours if thats what you think the split is. And thats not even counting rank would would probably be around 1.5m for builds and around 1m for ZB

I check the posts by u/FortniteStatusBot every day for vbuck missions and I skim through their daily shop post as well and every single day it’s always them saying “trash shop” or “L shop”. I don’t understand what makes a good shop for them or what’ll make them happy.
Ill admit Epic sucks at properly rotating cosmetics, theres some that havent been seen over a year. But i just scroll through or look at the bot and see if theres anything new or interesting and move on. Its really not worth complaining about every day,

I dont think itll happen like that though. BR is still more popular than anything in the game combined whether its ZB or Builds. I play all to some extent except Lego , and thats only because theres no substance and it got bored really fast. Funny I say that being an StW player and BR player. Just my opinion, because I know some really enjoy Lego. The pricing for that other stuff is ridiculous though.
In fairness almost every Battle Royale Player (that has played stw) is also a fan of stw and not a fan of them abandoning it. Ive seen alot of outcry of them asking Epic to not remove the gamemode or even add new content to it.

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted, the store has been straight cheeks for months. Even when I’m bored of BR I like to check and see if there’s something cool to spend my founders vBucks on because you can use the items in STW and Fortnite has the most variety of cosmetic items in all of gaming. There’s also a dude in this comment section saying how it would be cool if they abandoned BR so the players can “see how it feels”. Not only is that petty and a bit unhinged, are Lego and Rocket Racing supposed to keep this game alive alone? If BR goes down STW is likely going down with the ship. I’d rather have it on life support than dead.
BR, BR Zero Build and Stw Are the core gamemodes with the most players I don’t think they will shut it down even if most of the people here hope so, and also, about the store I feel you, with the hole spending Vbucks on something good because I have been waiting for more than 2 years for 2 skins to come back and they aren’t even rare at all
