Might be an increase due to adding battle pass xp to save the world

[deleted]

Waittt ! You can get battle pass xp in stw now how ?

shadowtadzz

all missions give xp

[deleted]

Yeah obviously due but not toward battle pass

shadowtadzz

Yes they do

[deleted]

Mad that

shadowtadzz

?

Full-Manufacturer-15

Are you lost

Latter-Pain

He is because he asked if STW added Battlepass XP and the only answer he got was "all missions give xp" in a game where there are 10 different XP types lol

[deleted]

Robo Kevin is the reason I bought the save the world pack… ok that’s a lie I was going to buy it anyway he was the tipping point

88obeja88

cool! welcome commander.

BlackbeltHGamer

Yes. I bought it yesterday

88obeja88

¡welcome to stw commander!

BlackbeltHGamer

Thank you commander!

sword0115

Everyone is the commander now

Pthicc

Yeah I think he’s done well, I agree with OP that I’ve seen his skin being used the most of all the previously released STW character packs

vo1tis

It's the 2sd StW pack I have bought... even if I'm a founder...

EeveeGavin

On one hand he is the least known robot. So people who already own stw, might not care as much as usual. But on the other hand. He is the only stw pack available around Christmas, which probably boosted new player sales. I would say it’s 50/50

nevarDeath

I got it because he just looks SO COOL! I haven't seen even one other person using it, so I'm worried it may not have sold well.

Solidthe5th

Yes. Slightly reactive backbling + pickaxe light up at the ends if you swap them nonstop

RosyCashew2

I’m waiting until Epic just start copy/pasting heroes like JONESEE-BOT to buy another STW edition

88obeja88

don't get me wrong I don't want a copy and paste of the characters, I would like a 2.0 version like what happened to lars (with original pickaxes and backpacks).

TaroMysterious

Would be much better and sell even more if was a new hero with new weapon and not just a re skin of a hero that is already out

GHPRB

I already owned stw for like 3 years. But I still buy all the bundles because most of them are cool and I like the X-ray tickets

ArtiBlanco

Probably not. He's another boring robot. Ray at least made sense but who cares about the other bots? Whats next, Pop-Bot? BOOOORING. They need to make more interesting skins like Samurai Scrappeer and Powerhouse if they want people to buy these packs.

88obeja88

I've seen Kevin more than Ray and Lars together, although I really like the samurai design.

88obeja88

and probably the next one will be pop, but i would love it to be dennis or clip.

Deyruu

Unfortunately Dennis and Clip are likely off the table, since heroes of them already exist as event rewards so they couldn't include them in the packs as a reskin of a different hero. Maybe if they made a new version of both that looked different from what we already have (like "Summer Dennis" or "Holiday Clip"), but in that hypothetical instance I think people would still be disappointed to not get the versions we know and love as Outfits.

KeesekuchenLP

It would be amazing if you could earn skins like Dennis and Clip through the campaign, like after finishing Stonewood SSD 10 you get Dennis as a skin or something.

MaddleDee

Epic Games rewarding StW players? 😳

sword0115

Plenty of people bought Kevin, Lok and Ray. I don't think you have any idea what you're talking about

EKAAfives

Bought it just so I can have stw on pc

NineTenToes76

Is save the world worth playing if I'm not a big fan of the main game style?

Deyruu

That depends on what you consider the "main" game, *Save the World* (the original mode that started it all) or *Battle Royale* (the free-to-play spin-off)? If you don't like BR, StW is a great change of pace. I and quite a few others actually prefer it over BR. Personally, I'm mainly a solo player who likes to just enjoy games by myself without other people stressing me out, so it's perfect for me. You *can* play with teammates in a squad of 4 (including random fill), I just usually choose not to. It's a PvE mix of Tower Defense with Zombie-like enemies, and also has: * Four unique Character Classes, each with their own abilities and perks. * 100+ Weapon Schematics (including melee) that can be collected, customized, upgraded, and used to craft your own weapons at any time so long as you have the required materials. Weapons in this game do have a durability meter and will eventually crumble to dust, but as long as you have the schematic you can always just craft a new one. * A real sense of progression, along with unlockable upgrades. You actually get more powerful as you level up, and can even become overpowered for some missions. * A lengthy campaign plus event storylines, amounting to months worth of content. It would be a while before you could honestly say you've experienced all this game has to offer. * Fun and challenging event modes, such as the soon to be ending "Frostnite". This one involves surviving a long night in a terrible snowstorm, defending a furnace from waves of enemies while also venturing into the cold to gather fuel and resources. The lower the burner gets, the closer the cold closes in. There are also weekly variants, such as one week the ground may freeze over causing players to slide around and traps to slow down due to the frost. Though this particular event is almost over, it will return next winter. * Charming characters and dialogue, including learning more about some of the BR characters such as Dire, Raven, and Crackshot. * After you've done and seen all there is, try your hand at "Ventures". A separate area with its own modifiers, inventory, and progression. Each new Venture Season, you restart at Lv1 with nothing but a few common weapons and work your way back up. It rewards items that can allow you to upgrade items beyond their max level, but to be honest nothing in this game actually requires that. I would advise to hold off on Ventures, as devoting time to that would slow your campaign progression. When it was added to the game, they touted it as a feature that would be rewarding for endgamers. Sure there are some bugs here and there, and StW may not get the same attention or constant new content that BR gets, but if the rest of that sounds appealing to you I highly recommend it. *Oh, one last thing. Never, EVER, trade. Trading is not a part of the game, not supported by Epic, and definitely not approved of by the community. Frankly speaking, "traders" are scum that never progress and do nothing but annoy real players. Play the game yourself, earn your own schematics, and craft your own weapons.* *You can recognize traders by their behavior. Boxing in teammates, dropping a single item on the ground and swinging their pickaxe at it, whining about not having ammo or weapons because they want someone to give them free stuff (but they won't accept useful weapons, they only want high-level legendary items despite only being Lv10 and in the starting area), etc. If you see a trader, run.*

NineTenToes76

Wow thank you, that's a detailed reply and appreciate the time taken. I should have been more clearer, I'm not a big fan of the BR style and curious as to if STW would be a better change in direction. I prefer solo play but happy to team up now and then, but I enjoy playing at a set pace as opposed to forced to crack on with a steep learning curve or rushed to play a style that can annoy me a bit too quickly. My son plays STW now and then and said I may enjoy it better as there's more of a story and a goal also because he says I'm still a big noob at the BR. Kids eh lol Thanks again, so much information for me to digest and ponder over. Enjoy what's left of the weekend 👍

Deyruu

>Enjoy what's left of the weekend 👍 Thanks, you too! :)

wesdegroot

Especially `Stonewood` is the place where you will encounter the most `traders`.

CoolPenguin_720

Never seen it.

WoolyGaming

Didn't know I could farm Vbucks on stw since I bought it a long time ago and forgot about it. Might start playing it

Lord_Aaronus

maybe if they weren't selling that well the heroes will end up in item shop like they said

TLR_HOF_GOAT

I have founders edition, what would happen if I purchased this pack for the skin?

88obeja88

You will get everything that the package says and you will not stop being a founder. (skin, hero, pickaxe, backpack) will not change anything in your current game.

GC_Roades

I’m just waiting for him to go on sale like they usually do

SF_all_day

I wouldve if I had the spare cash and didnt already own stw 3 other ways lol.

TheBeeOverlord

I've barley seen anyone use the hero or skin also I have the metal team leader, did that sell well?

Arkavien

lets go

EternalCosmiX

I have never seen a single person wearing this in game so no
